The First Store System

Chapter 365 – Studying

Chapter 365: Studying

After thanking Aakesh, Odred left for the weapons room. Sarbal, who had been asking questions to Aakesh as if they were equal, didnʼt dare to stay a second here without the presence of his teacher, so he also followed Odred.

In the weapons room, the first thing that welcomed Odred was countless murals painted on the wall.

Odred, being a peak Demigod, could sense that the murals werenʼt ordinary, but he couldnʼt exactly pinpoint what was special about it.

”Teacher, why are you looking at the murals on the wall so intently?”

Suddenly a familiar voice rang in the room, and it broke Odred out of his thoughts.

”I donʼt know,” Odred responded with a pondering face, without even turning around to look at his student.

Odred only looked at the murals for a few seconds and finally stopped, as except the feelings of unordinary, he didnʼt gain anything else from them. There was no point in wasting his time here when he could search for the weapons he wanted to buy.

Since Odred had made his decision, he turned around, and then finally, his eyes fell on the pillars.

”Eh!” Odred exclaimed in surprise, as he couldnʼt recognize the material used in the making of the pillar. The next moment, his face turned red, remembering the conversation he had with his student yesterday.

Yesterday, when Sarbal had introduced the store to him, Sarbal had talked about his inability to recognize the material of the pillar.

At that time, Odred had reprimanded Sarbal for not even recognizing the material. Now that even he couldnʼt, he wanted to make his student forget everything about the conversation.

Unfortunately, he wasnʼt adept in the elements related to illusion or soul, or he could have misused his power to make Sarbal forget.

A grin spread across Sarbalʼs face when he saw his teacherʼs reaction when he saw the pillar.

If not for being afraid of his teacher, Sarbal would have made fun of Odred for not recognizing even a material in the same tone as he had done yesterday.

”Cough!” Odred did a fake cough to clear the awkwardness on his face.

”Letʼs check the weapon,” Odred commented, forgetting everything about the pillar.

”Yes, teacher,” Sarbal responded.

Time flew by, and two hours had passed.

For the past two hours, Odred had been studying weapons inside the weapon room.

There were 108 pillars in the room, marking 108 types of weapons.

Until now, Odred had watched over hundred types of weapons and was currently studying a Mythical-grade flail.

The black striking head was made up of chloton, a metal quite famous and rare in the Primal dimension for its toughness. The handle was made up of Trogan, a wood known for its unbreakable characteristics. The rope that attached them was made up of the intestines of a Hellhound, famous for its tenacity and elasticity.

A blue screen was in his sight that announced the details of the flail. It was a Mythical-grade flail, and it could directly attack the opponent, bypassing the defense. The cost section said 1499 superior Primal stones.

Odred liked the weapon. He decided to select it as one of his buys. He then put his hand inside the shelf again to find another flail.

In the past two hours, he had watched over tens of thousands of weapons. Being a Demigod enabled him to understand things at an unimaginable speed. Otherwise, it wouldʼve taken him around a day to study so many weapons.

Out of the tens of thousands of weapons, he had studied in the past two hours, Odred had also selected around seven thousand weapons belonging to different categories and levels.

More time flew by.

”Excellent sword!” Odred commented while studying the details of the King-grade sword in his hands.

Sarbal, standing not far from his teacher, also nodded in appreciation. He wanted to throw away the sword he had and desired to replace it with the sword in his teacherʼs hands. But he controlled himself. Even though the sword proved to be of better quality than his own, his was a growth weapon, so it would grow with him, unlike the store one, which was fixed at King-grade.

Time flew by.

The six-hour stay of the first group in Panagea was over, so the system forced them out one by one, depending on the sequence of their entry.

Only after all the customers had exited the portals did Aakesh order the customers of the second group to enter the portal room.

Odred and Sarbal were still in the weapons room, studying more weapons.

Odred had already studied 107 types of weapons and was currently at the last one, bow.

If not for the constraint of time, Odred would still be on his first type of weapon since there were countless weapons inside the shelf.

Odred had randomly picked out a hundred weapons from each grade of each category, and if he liked any of them, he would consider it as one of his potential buys. If his luck failed him and he didnʼt find even a single weapon worthy, he would proceed to the next grade.

”Excellent bow!” Odred appreciated the bow in his hands.

It was a bow made up of Trotal, a wood exclusive to a single planet in the Primal dimension, and that was in control of one of the top organizations. The wood was strictly regulated since it had failed to grow on any soil or atmosphere other than that planet and was costly.

The bowstring was made up of mixed Mythril, another costly material.

The bow was priced at 20 supreme Primal stones, which was an outrageous price for a King-grade weapon. Odred found the price cheap as it was one of his top three picks. The other two pick being a Mythical-grade mace and a KIng-grade spear.

Odred stopped taking any other weapon out as he had completed his hundredth turn at the King-grade shelf for the bow.

He then looked behind him, only to notice a mountain of weapons belonging to different categories floating around him.

Now that he had picked his weapons, it was time to buy them.

Since there was a limit of one sale for a weapon per person in a month, and Odred and Sarbal had chosen eight thousand, six hundred, and seventy-three weapons, Odred needed that many people.
