The First Store System

Chapter 382 – Dragging Out!

Chapter 382: Dragging Out!

Time flew by.

Anthonyʼs training hour was over, so the system forced him out of the training area.

The next moment, the calming effect on him disappeared while the system transferred him into an isolated space.

After his energy had calmed down due to the sudden return of enhanced consciousness, the system brought him back to the store.

”Excellent!” Anthony commented in joy, seeing the new him.

He hadnʼt gained any increase in energy due to the training area, but he had achieved a tiny portion of what he wanted to attain.

During the thousand hours of training inside the Gods & Demons level training area, Anthony had died so many times that even someone like him had lost count, but he still used the same move again and again.

Losses and deaths had only increased with each passing moment while he continued thrusting his spear the same way as the mural.

Finally, after completing the five hundredth hour of training, the spear jab worked. Anthony still died in the end and failed to damage the Titan, but he still had defended using the thrust.

The thrust consisted of the perfect balance of offense and defense. If Anthony achieved mastery in the thrust he had seen on the mural, he would have an overpowered attack in his arsenal, as well as intense protection.

As hours passed, Anthonyʼs affinity with the defending side of the thrust grew closer. When the thousand hours of his training were about to arrive, Anthony could defend consecutive strikes for several seconds.

Anthony would lie if he said that he wasnʼt disappointed with his lack of growth in the offensive part of the thrust, but he still was somewhat satisfied defending against the attacks of the Titan.

He believed even the leader of his organization would be unable to survive the jabs of the Titan. The number of people he thought could defeat the Titan was less than the number of fingers he had on one of his hands.

One such figure he thought of was Trihan, one of the customers of the store. If he were to know that Trihan was also a customer here, the store would almost become a pilgrim for him; such was his admiration for Trihan. Even the leader of his organization was unable to win against Trihan and was only slightly stronger than him, despite being millions of years older than him.

”Are you still not done?” Anthony asked Odred, excitedly studying the black-colored mace in his hands.

”Oh, you stopped cursing in disappointment,” Odred turned around and asked Anthony with a surprised expression.

In order not to be disturbed again, Odred stopped caring what was going on around him once he spoke with Anthony. He wasnʼt even aware of time passing by and didnʼt realize it had been more than an hour since then.

Anthony already knew about this characteristic of his friend, so he ignored the look of surprise on Odredʼs face. ”Stop studying weapons. Let me take you to a new world,” Anthony laughingly said, grabbed the hands of Odred, and began dragging him out of the weapons room.

”You-”

”You all select weapons for him according to your numbers. Whoever selected the weapons he liked, I would reward you,” Odred got taken aback by the sudden turn of events. He wanted to reprimand Anthony for doing this, but he had only spoken a word when Anthony cut his sentence off and commanded the followers he had given to Odred to select the weapon.

”Stop thinking about weapons all the time. Do what I tell you to do for once,” Anthony then smilingly looked at Odred, who had a shocked expression, and told him.

Odred could only disappointedly sigh since he knew the character of his friend. He was arrogant all the time, but he was also very stubborn, despite living for so long.

The duo, Anthony dragging Odred out, then left the weapons room. Anthony then let go of Odredʼs hand and walked to the store owner while Odred silently followed him.

”Store owner, give us an hour of Panagea,” Anthony requested Aakesh. This time, his tone contained respect, especially after seeing the benefits of only free to watch murals.

”The next time, you can buy that directly from the card you have,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Anthony.

The next moment, a familiar alert of asking for payment appeared in Anthonyʼs head. Anthony accepted it, and the next moment, a similar alert appeared in Aakeshʼs head, but it was about the successful payment.

Aakesh then told the duo to go ahead while pointing at the portal room.

”Whatʼs this Panagea you talked about with the store owner?” Odred confusedly asked his friend. Like his student, he had come here after learning about the weapons, and he hadnʼt asked the store owner what other products the store sold, so he was unaware.

”Thatʼs why I tell you to learn to think something else other than weapons for a moment,” Anthony jokingly mocked his friend. He then began sharing what he had learned from Aakesh about Panagea.

Even Odred, who didnʼt think of anything other than weapons and smithing all the time, couldnʼt help but forget about it and instead completely focus on Panagea.

The duo reached the portal room while conversing about Panagea. Their eyes then fell upon the board right next to the entry gate of the room.

”Samsara Samraat!” They both read the name of the product at the same time.

They then looked into the eyes of each other and could see the confusion. They were unaware of what language it was and what it meant.

”Letʼs ask about it later,” Anthony commented and entered the room. Odred also thought the same, so he also entered after him.

The next moment, more than a thousand virtual portals welcomed them. They couldnʼt help but nod in appreciation since the portals looked similar to the travel portals used in the outside world, but here, they were smaller in size and similarly gave a sense of pressure way stronger than the travel portals.

Since there were only around a hundred customers in Panagea, there were still more than a thousand empty virtual portals left.

Both of them randomly found a portal and casually touched them with just the tip of their fingers.. The next moment, a suction force stronger than they could handle appeared and sucked them in.
