Chapter 374 – Evolution

Chapter 374: Evolution

After getting a see-through hole right above his waist, Aakeshʼs fighting momentum began decreasing.

The punch contained a hint of annihilation; it didnʼt let Aakeshʼs injury heal at all. The blood leak only increased, and the hole only grew wider.

Despite that, he succeeded in killing the owner of the punch as revenge, but at that moment, the spearman successfully plunged his spear into Aakeshʼs heart. It resulted in an instant bursting, and Aakesh died as a result.

Even though Aakesh died in the end and failed to force the ruler to enter the battle on Aakeshʼs own, Aakesh was still satisfied with the result he had gotten with this round.

He could now see the end of this training round as the higher-ups didnʼt prove to be as big a challenge as he had expected, and he still had his strongest arrow left in his arsenal.

After appearing in the selection area, Aakesh noticed that Lily wasnʼt there. There was still some time left for Lily to complete todayʼs training. After thinking, Aakesh, instead of entering the training area again, decided to wait for her.

Time flew by.

The silence in the selection area was suddenly broken by the appearance of a portal out of nowhere. Soon Lily stepped out of it.

A smile spread across her face, seeing Aakesh waiting for her, as for the past few days, it was her who was waiting for him.

”Hey, system, my chair,” Lily asked the system for her chair.

The system didnʼt say anything in response, but the next moment, a chair next to Aakeshʼs chair appeared.

Aakesh only smiled, seeing this. Lily then jumped on it. The duo then began sharing their experiences in the training area with each other.

Time flew by.

When both had shared their experiences, they then disappeared from the selection area. Soon both the chairs followed them.

The duo appeared in the store, and not long after, the door of his room appeared floating in the air, and right away, stairs connecting it to the floor appeared.

”See you tomorrow,” Lily spoke and then climbed up the stairs.

When she had entered the room, the door automatically closed, and not long after, it and the stairs both disappeared as if they were never there.

Since Lily had left for Panagea, it was now time for Aakesh. He then took a step forward in the direction of the portal room.

The sight of increased portals welcomed him right after he entered the room.

The space inside the room had automatically expanded to accommodate these 1150 virtual portals. The leaderboard also had changed, as previously it only had enough sections for the top twenty, but now it had expanded for the top 100 adventurers.

Aakesh noticed a single addition on the leaderboard from yesterday. He then took his eyes away, as in the next few days, the number would only grow due to increased traffic in Panagea.

Aakesh, as usual, touched the closest portal to him. The next moment, a suction force stronger than anything he could fight back appeared and sucked him into another world.

Aakesh appeared in the same place he had exited yesterday.

The next moment, a red window welcomed him. It didnʼt say something important. It was about his inability to watch over the selected person as he had to exit since the sun was about to rise in Visteerna. It only announced his failure to gain anything from that situation.

Aakesh ignored the window since there was no point in thinking about it. The next moment, the red screen automatically disappeared.

He then called out his status screen.

The next moment, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.

Personal Status:

Name: Aakesh,

Race: [*****],

Gender: Male,

Lifeform: Rare,

Class: Watcher,

Level: Level 50,

HP: 4000/4000,

Energy: 3640/4000,

Physical attributes:

Strength: 401 (+70),

Agility: 401 (+70),

Intelligence: -0-,

Endurance: -0-,

Aakesh couldnʼt help but nod, seeing his level. He was now only one level away from evolving into an Epic-level lifeform. It still was lower than his actual strength, but any gain was always worth excitement.

He then took a casual glance at his attributes. They had increased by ten units per level due to his class.

Since there was nothing more to see, he thought of the status screen disappearing. Soon it faded into emptiness.

Aakesh then left the area in search of another fortuitous event as he was only one level away from evolution.

Time flew by, and hours passed.

”Finally!” Aakesh mumbled as the event he had just watched gave him the reward of a level increase.

His luck didnʼt seem to be like yesterday when he found Ethan. Today, it took a while for him to even find a selected person, let alone someone like Ethan.

Now that the event was over and Aakesh had watched over it, he had now gained his reward.

The next moment, out of nowhere, a blue light engulfed him.

Aakesh could feel his body getting stronger at a visible rate. His already toned muscles slightly tightened; his height grew a few inches; his veins turned sturdier to accommodate the flow of stronger energy and blood.

Time flew by.

The scene of the breakthrough continued for several seconds.

Aakesh could sense an increase in his attributes, so he called out his status screen for the second time today.

The next moment, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.

Personal Status:

Name: Aakesh,

Race: [*****],

Gender: Male,

Lifeform: Rare,

Class: Watcher,

Level: Level 51,

HP: 5000/5000,

Energy: 5000/5000,

Physical attributes:

Strength: 501 (+100),

Agility: 501 (+100),

Intelligence: -0-,

Endurance: -0-,

Comprehensions: Hand fighting (100%), Archery (100%), Swordsmanship (100%)…

Skills: Wolfbane, Ability-Learning, Universal-Eye, Fortune-Eye, Element Immunity…

Aakesh nodded in appreciation, seeing the growth he had gotten due to an evolution of his life form.

His energy and HP had increased by a thousand units, and it had now reached five thousand units. Even the energy he had spent on the skill, Fortune-Eye, he had gained back due to the evolution.

His strength and agility had increased by hundred units, giving him a very high growth.

With this level of growth and stats, Aakesh was confident of taking on even a Level 70.

Time flew by, and the time for Aakesh to exit Panagea arrived.
