Chapter 1456: Revealing Everything to Grandfather

”I will do it... I will become a spirit transcendence.”

Noel was exhilarated even though he didn’t show it on his face. After all, his plan could take another step forward.

”What do you think is the problem for you in reaching the spirit transcendence, Grandfather?”

Raincart answered without hesitation. ”My lack of understanding. My spiritual energy has reached the threshold. Even though I have found my transcendent path, I couldn’t get that last push.”

Noel nodded. As he expected, Raincart was someone who could become a spirit transcendence as long as he had the opportunity.

Normally, the spirit transcendence experts would hide everything so that others didn’t know their secret, but Noel was different. The trick he had was not something he used but something he crafted personally.

And because Raincart only lacked that last push, it wouldn’t take long for him to become one.

”In that case, I will give you a trick to find that last push.” Noel smiled.

Raincart nodded solemnly. He swore in his heart that he would take this secret to his grave.

Noel took out a small notebook from his drawer and handed it to him. ”Please take a look at this.”

Raincart furrowed his eyebrows. He carefully received the book and started reading it in front of Noel. His expression turned to shock in just a minute.

The more he read the note, the more shocking the information was.

”You...” Raincart was speechless. He never thought Noel would have this kind of knowledge. The method might be quite rough, but it should be successful, especially since he was one of the people who had his Spirit Transformation.

”How much do you understand about spirits?” Raincart gasped.

Noel smiled wryly. ”I am half-spirit, half-human.”

”!!!” Raincart was shocked and confused at the same time. What did he mean by half-spirit?

Noel pointed at Ardagan. ”You should know this is our family heirloom, right?”

”Yes.” Raincart nodded. ”I’ve heard of the Ardagan sword. It’s the sword that your ancestor used.”

”This is not a normal sword. It’s actually a living spirit. I received my ice element spirit from my mother’s blood, but I received my flame element from this sword spirit. It is the only spirit that is different from other spirits.

”It’s not demihuman spirits, humanoid spirits, or even other beings, it’s an object spirit.” Noel thought there was no need to hide it anymore. No one would be able to get this sword anymore because he had fused with it. If they wanted it, they would have to fight Noel personally.

In addition, it was impossible to extract it from Noel’s corpse.

”...” Raincart was speechless.

”There’s nothing for you to worry about. All the knowledge in that book stems from what I’ve experienced. By using the method of the spirit, I can artificially push you to the spirit transcendence rank.

”If you are worried that the Ardagan family will be over in my generation, you only have to worry about it if I lose against the demon kings.

”If not, I will make sure that the Ardagan family has enough things to inherit. Besides, I just have to make it solid enough and teach my descendants so that they don’t waste the inheritance.

”Runes, technology, and even everything I’ve built in this territory... I believe they’ll be able to overcome the challenges.” Noel assured him. Though the biggest reason he fused with Ardagan remained unknown.

Raincart would probably go insane if he knew it happened because he died.

Raincart bit his lip. Despite hearing Noel’s words, he simply didn’t realize that Noel had been lonely this whole time.

The path he walked had never been stepped on by anyone else in the world. In the future, he might not have anyone beside him anymore. ”You...”

Noel would probably worry about the same thing, but he was blessed with Anna by his side. With her beside him, he could push himself again and again.

”Anyway, you should focus on becoming a spirit transcendence first, Grandfather. It will be bad if you become one during your visit, so for now, you should take your time to comprehend the book. Once you return, it’s time for you to start making your preparations.”

Raincart wanted to say a lot of things, but he could only nod his head. Without strength, he could do nothing but let out his rant.

”I know. Suppose I can reach the spirit transcendence rank, what do you want me to do?”

”For the time being, nothing. I’m sure there will be a big movement the moment you become a spirit transcendence. You alone will cause the entire Greenwood Kingdom to move.

”But because of our relationship, they will also include me when dealing with you. Even the king has to be careful of you.”

Raincart looked grim. He understood it very well. The moment he became a spirit transcendence, he would be standing on the same platform as the other two in the Greenwood Kingdom.

They became spirit transcendence and received a duke title due to their strength and talent. The royal family bound him through marrying their relatives.

Meanwhile, Raincart rose through the ranks because of his overall abilities. Even becoming the current king’s tutor showed that ability.

Hence, the moment he became a spirit transcendence, he would become the only spirit transcendence that wasn’t bound by marriage. It would stir a commotion.

Besides, he had heard that a spirit transcendence lived one or two decades longer than spirit grandmasters because the spiritual energy in their body naturally extended their lives.

That was why he, who was supposed to only have ten to fifteen years left in his natural lifespan as a peak grandmaster, could suddenly live twice as long.

The people around him couldn’t target him, but they could target his family. That was why Noel didn’t want to burden him for the time being as he dealt with all those problems.

”I will tell you once we’re about to face the demons.” Noel smiled. ”Besides, your grandson just wants you to live longer to see your great-grandchildren... no, your great-great-grandchildren, Grandfather.”

Raincart’s eyes were glazing. He let out a long sigh before patting Noel’s shoulder. ”Looks like... I have to fulfill my grandson’s wish. Your grandfather will make sure he lives long.”
