Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 1535: Chapter 1: The Witch Named Dark Raven

The spatial fluctuation within the exclusive room grew increasingly intense. Su Xiao took a deep breath, learning through the prompts of Reincarnation Paradise that he was about to enter an original world, not one located in the void.

This brought a sense of relief to Su Xiao, as due to his identity as the Shadow of Annihilation Law, he had many enemies in the void.

While Su Xiao pondered, the space-time power enveloped him.

Boom!

Darkness engulfed his vision. Perhaps due to the considerable distance of the original world, this teleportation was exceptionally harsh.

It’s unclear how much time passed.

Tick-tock~

A cold sensation came from Su Xiao’s cheek, he sat up abruptly, noticing Bubu Wang, A Mu, and Bennie nearby, experiencing the distinctiveness of entering this world at his own expense.

Su Xiao surveyed his surroundings. The place was somewhat dim and was a very simple stone hut. Drops of water occasionally fell from the ceiling, making the room quite damp, and outside, the sound of pattering rain could be heard.

A flash of white light shone through a crack in the wall, thunder rolled, and the rain seemed to intensify, making the stone hut somewhat chilly.

With a creak, Su Xiao sat up from a nearly collapsed wooden bed. By the flickering candlelight in the room, he noticed a notice on the wall. It was in black and white, and Su Xiao couldn’t understand the text yet, but from the black-and-white image, it seemed to be about the wheat harvest.

Below the notice was a stamp, quite unusual, resembling the claw of some creature, bringing a sense of mystery and coldness.

...

[Tip: If the Hunter wishes to master the language of this world, it requires consuming 5000 Paradise coins (this world consists of: 1 Universal Language, 7 commonly used languages, 18 Royal languages, 47 Tribal languages).]

Upon seeing this tip, Su Xiao had a general understanding of the situation in this world. He could be 100% sure that this world was probably plagued with constant war, unlike the war in the World of Xiya, which involved only two races.

Su Xiao guessed correctly that the Dark Raven World probably contained numerous empires, kingdoms, tribes, human assembly areas, etc., with differing degrees of civilization development among indigenous forces. If there were large empires here, there wouldn’t be such a variety of languages.

An empire ruling a continent would first eliminate other languages, cultures, scripts, etc., treating them as historical studies but never allowing contemporary use. Otherwise, achieving unity would be difficult.

The fact that the Dark Raven World has so many language types indicates the degree of chaos, with dukes disdainful of each other, and the barbaric tribes being quite active.

[Tip: The Hunter needs to unlock the world introduction. After viewing the world introduction, the Hunter can choose the Main Task type.]

Su Xiao chose to unlock the world introduction, first experiencing darkness, followed by a transformation into a bird’s eye view.

On a verdant plain, due to unknown reasons, a gigantic crystal stone was pushed out from the earth, exposed directly on the ground.

Under the sunlight, the crystal stone emitted a purple glow, both alluring and eerie. All creatures near this purple crystal stone went insane, attacking each other, even devouring large amounts of dirt, ultimately dying with bloated stomachs.

The scene before Su Xiao paused here, like a film on hold, and then accelerated the next moment, seasons alternating once per second.

It’s unclear how many years passed before the scene in front of Su Xiao suddenly slowed. The massive purple crystal stone on the plain was buried by bones, a vast army marched across the plain, numbering at least several hundred thousand, wearing uniform armor and wielding blindingly bright weapons, their bright red banners flying in the wind.

The army reached the plain, perhaps due to an order from the commander, and large units charged into the interior, the only territory they hadn’t occupied.

The enticing purple glow radiated from the pile of bones, causing the frontmost soldier to halt, he raised his hand in confusion, purple light shining in his eyes.

For unknown reasons, the army began to slaughter each other, most of them retreating from the plain, with about ten thousand soldiers moving towards the purple crystal stone, their steps staggering, stopping as they reached its vicinity.

This army charged into the plain four times but achieved nothing. Their commander dismounted, ignoring the adjutants kneeling around him, and walked into the central area of the plain.

As the commander advanced, a faint green glow emerged from his body, representing his life energy.

This commander hadn’t lost his mind like the other soldiers, pausing momentarily above the purple crystal stone, then walked towards the plain’s exterior.

”I cannot contain it.”

Leaving these words, the commander collapsed and died, bleeding from seven orifices.

After the commander’s death, the scene before Su Xiao accelerated again, the plain being sealed off, prohibiting anyone from entering.

Many years passed, and a woman clad in rough linen walked in the rainy night, her body trembling, her exposed arms exceptionally pale from the cold.

The woman was visibly disturbed, seemingly traumatized, obsessively avoiding raindrops landing on her, which was impossible.

Whether by coincidence or fate, the woman arrived above the purple crystal stone. She hadn’t lost her mind as she was already driven insane by misfortune.

”Ah!!”

An hysterical scream sounded in Su Xiao’s ear, as if he was in the midst of the stormy night on the plain, merely a spectator.

The woman knelt above the purple crystal stone, her head lowered, a twisted consciousness appeared behind her.

As said consciousness emerged, the purple crystal radiated brightly, vast amounts of purple energy rushing out of the crystal and into the consciousness behind the woman.

The woman’s once dim eyes regained clarity, she looked at her own hands, seemingly confused as to why she was there.

”I am... Dark Raven.”

Boom!

Rain froze, the woman’s eyes emitting a faint violet glow, her slender arm raised, fist clenched.

Bang, bang, bang...

The rain suspended mid-air exploded, the clouds in the sky scattered, and the woman’s fingers formed claws, a fireball appeared in her hand, growing larger and rising into the sky, forcibly turning the night into day.

Crows appeared out of thin air, not as creatures but formed from the woman’s consciousness power, increasing from thousands to tens of thousands, eventually overwhelming the sky, numbering at least a million.

Caw. Caw, caw...

The crows transformed the daylight back into night, the woman’s lips curled up, she walked barefoot from the plain, soon aware it was behavior befitting mortals. Riding the swarm of crows, elite individuals formed a long robe interlaced with black and purple, she wore it, becoming the first witch in history and the most powerful witch, bar none.

The empire collapsed, their army buried under the crow swarm, the young king beheaded, the witch named Dark Raven drank wine using the king’s skull as a goblet, becoming the new queen of the continent, naming herself Dark Raven.

Dark Raven was catastrophe, a symbol of power, a Holy Daughter, a witch, yet she only lived for 67 days, conquering a planet in just 67 days!

Dark Raven left behind a stone tablet; with her body exploding like fireworks, the war history of Dark Raven Continent began.

[Dark Raven Era 158, the daughter of a great noble, Jenna Kingsley, was discovered by her servants to have self-destructive tendencies. According to their accounts, she attempted to drown herself in a barrel and burned an herb with extremely strong aphrodisiac effects. Curiously, upon burning this herb, Jenna Kingsley used shackles to bind herself, enduring the torment of desire, a month later, Jenna Kingsley was almost half-insane, her behavior increasingly bizarre, even attempting to converse with herself...]

[Dark Raven Era 159, the second witch was born, named Jenna Kingsley, later known as the Steam Witch, wielding the power of heat and boiling.]

[Dark Raven Era 160, numerous women declaring themselves as witches appeared, although far from the strength of the first witch Dark Raven, they too wielded supernatural power akin to the alien tribes at the continent’s border, yet far stronger than them.]

[Dark Raven Era 370, various forces governed by witches squatted on the ’Dark Raven Continent’, referencing the ’first witch Dark Raven’ as a deity, searching fervently for a kind of purple crystal they named ’Origin Stone’.]
