Not Being a Trainer This Time

There are three opponents in this battle.

Shorts Boy Jick sent out a Rattata in its Alola Region form.

Mini-skirt Yu Chen is using a Beautifly, a Pokemon with water-blue compound eyes and colorful patterns on its wings.

And Yan Mei’s Pokemon is a very innocent-looking Cleffa.

The three didn’t deliberately hide their identities, and after releasing their Pokemon, they immediately turned their gaze to the only adult present.

”Big brother, it’s your turn!” said Mini-skirt Yu Chen.

Naoki: ”...”

Oh well, perhaps once he advances to the Mega Stage, his opponents would be normal Trainers, right?

In that case, let’s finish this quickly!

With this thought, Naoki didn’t hesitate any longer and directly took out the Poke Ball of his Farfetch’d.

Accompanied by a flash of white light, a sharp-eyed Pokemon with ”V” shaped eyebrows on its forehead, exuding an unmatched aura and carrying a great leek, appeared on the battlefield.

”Is that Pokemon Farfetch’d?” The commentator and referee, who arrived late, looked at the Farfetch’d with surprise and exclaimed, ”Its leek is huge!”

The few spectators in the stands also turned their attention to the Farfetch’d due to this comment.

The next second, a line of words appeared in the minds of the audience — indeed, it’s huge!

The competitors are ready, and next is the official start of the four-men free-for-all.

But before that, Roger, as the commentator and referee, needs to introduce the identities of the four competitors to the audience.

He looked at the Rotom Phone in his hand and introduced each one by holding a microphone:

”First, standing at the Charizard entrance is our Shorts Boy Jick! He and his Rattata have brought us many exciting battles!”

Being named, Jick basked in the spotlight, waving both hands to the audience.

”Next, at the Haxorus entrance is Mini-skirt Yu Chen. She and Beautifly are skilled at using powder-based moves to attack, having achieved the feat of defeating three foes at once!”

Mini-skirt Yu Chen threw three flying kisses to the audience.

”The third, standing at the Tyranitar entrance is our cute girl Yan Mei. She and her Cleffa have participated in five Royal Battles!”

”Everyone, please support Yan Mei~” Yan Mei acted adorable and charming.

Naoki: ”...”

”The last one... is our Wings King competitor, wow! I just discovered something, this Wings King competitor is just newly registered!”

Roger was somewhat surprised. He glanced at the mysterious man on the field and continued:

”Today is his first match, wonder what kind of performance he and his Farfetch’d will bring us... Next, let’s wait and see!”

Spotlights projected down from above, Naoki calmly nodded and then focused his gaze on the Farfetch’d ahead.

”Alright, without further ado, the Royal Battle officially begins!”

”Ding ding ding ding!”

As soon as the battle started, Mini-skirt Yu Chen executed a very bold move, choosing to take on all three opponents at once.

”Beautifly, use Gust to blow the Stun Spore over!”

As Beautifly flapped its wings, a breeze suddenly arose on the stage, and silver dust sparkled as it drifted across the arena.

Mini-skirt Yu Chen’s attack attracted all the enmity.

Shorts Boy Jick and Yan Mei immediately decided to team up to first take out Beautifly.

”Rattata, hold your breath and use Quick Attack!”

”Cleffa, let’s use Sweet Kiss!”

Upon receiving the commands, the Rattata immediately braced against the Beautifly’s Stun Spore and charged out, turning into a white light, fiercely ramming toward the airborne Beautifly.

Behind it, Cleffa conjured a pink energy orb in the shape of lips and flew with Rattata toward Beautifly.

As for Naoki and Farfetch’d...

They did nothing, just stood their ground, calmly observing the performance of the other three.

”Wow, Beautifly is being attacked together by them! Rattata’s Quick Attack hit, and Cleffa’s Sweet Kiss also connected! Beautifly is successfully confused! What about Wings King competitor? What is Wings King competitor doing?”

Roger quickly commentated the battle, then suddenly noticed someone seemed to be missing.

He swiftly turned his head, discovering that the Wings King competitor and his Farfetch’d were just standing there spectating!

”Wings...” Roger was about to say something.

Then the next second, he saw the Farfetch’d move.

With the leek over its shoulder, it slightly bent over, leg muscles tensing, its gaze becoming incredibly sharp.

Then, Farfetch’d’s body transformed into a streak of white light and dashed out. Before the audience could even see what happened, its leek had already passed through the clustered Beautifly, Cleffa, and Rattata.

The three Pokemon hadn’t reacted before they felt themselves flying into the sky, then blacked out, crashing to the ground and losing their ability to battle.

Farfetch’d turned its back to them, striking an extremely cool and dashing pose.

Triple kill!

”Ding ding ding ding!”

The bell signifying the end of the battle rang.

Shorts Boy Jick, Mini-skirt Yu Chen, and Yan Mei simultaneously widened their eyes, wearing expressions of disbelief.

Such, such power!

Roger: ”...”
