Not Being a Trainer This Time

”Alright, thank you all so much for your help today!”

On the cliff, Naoki looked at the group of expectant wild Pokemon in front of him and smiled as he fulfilled his promise.

He took out the Pokeblocks and Poffins he carried with him and distributed them one by one to the Pokemon in front of him.

”Fletchling, this is for you, Lechonk, this one’s yours, Skwovet, you take this box...”

The Pokemon who received the Poffins happily enjoyed them on the spot.

Naoki watched the incredibly harmonious scene with a smile for a while.

He looked around, trying to find traces of that Pikachu, but still did not see any sign of it.

After some thought, Naoki decided to inquire about it from this group of natives in front of him.

”By the way, has anyone here seen a Pikachu nearby?”

Skwovet, who was originally cuddling a Poffin and eating, paused its action upon hearing this: ”Squeak?”

”It’s a Pokemon with yellow fur that can discharge electricity. It was flying over that cliff this morning.” Naoki pointed in the direction of the cliff.

The wild Pokemon in front of him all looked towards that area.

Soon, some Pokemon gave a response.

Fletchling flapped its wings: ”Chirp! Chirp!” (I saw it! But haven’t spoken to it!)

Lechonk: ”Oink oink?” (It seems to be able to fly?)

Sunkern: ”Seed seed!” (Impressive, I can’t even fly!)

Naoki: ”...It’s alright, many Pokemon can’t fly. Does anyone know where it lives?”

However, in response to this, the Pokemon in front of him shook their heads in unison.

Because that Pikachu always roamed alone and didn’t speak to them.

Upon hearing this, Naoki couldn’t help but feel some regret.

Seeing how cautious that Pikachu was with them, it seemed unlikely that it would appear nearby anytime soon.

Helplessly, Naoki had to give up on observing that Pikachu.

He looked at the group of Pokemon in front of him and said to them:

”Alright, I understand, thank you very much for your help. We’re going to leave now; hopefully, we’ll see each other next time!”

After the farewell, Naoki mounted Koraidon.

Koraidon spread its wings, pushed off with its hind legs, and immediately leaped into the sky, flying towards the ranch.

Naoki looked back at this land.

It seemed that he and that Pikachu were not fated to meet!

In that case, that Pikachu should be left for the Trainer destined for it!

Perhaps not long from now, someone else will encounter it, and then a new story will unfold.

Naoki withdrew his gaze and left this place with Koraidon.

About five hours after he left, a Pikachu poked its head out from a hidden corner.

It slowly walked to the spot where it could see the sea, glanced at the sea covered in twilight, then curled up under the trunk of a big tree, closed its eyes, and fell into a dream.

Pikachu slept straight through till dawn.

It seemed to sense something, startling awake from its sleep, then raised its head to look at the sky.

Confirming the time now, Pikachu quickly got up and ran towards the coastline.

When it gained enough distance, it began to discharge electricity while quickly running in circles across the grass.

Pikachu’s speed increased, and under the force of inertia, a twister of electric type energy gradually formed.

Seeing this scene, Pikachu leapt up, continually bouncing to increase its height.

At this moment, the twister, having lost Pikachu’s guidance, suddenly dissipated, leaving Pikachu exposed in mid-air.

It immediately positioned its tail beneath itself to control the airflow, enabling it to float steadily in the sky.

At the same time, the dim light in the distance began to brighten.

A dawn light burst forth from the edge of the sea.

Following it was a bright, orange-red sun.

The clouds and the sea were dyed a deep orange-red, and this scene was reflected in Pikachu’s eyes, with the red and purple horizon in front of it.

Gazing at this sight, Pikachu couldn’t help but softly murmur: ”Pikachu...”

It’s so beautiful!

Naoki and Koraidon finally returned to the ranch on time at 5:15 PM.

When they landed, Zack’s big truck was parked by the roadside.

Zack was busy loading the goods from the ranch, with the help of his brother Indeedee.

Seeing Naoki return, Zack greeted him, ”Did you go out for business?”

”Yeah!” Naoki nodded with a smile, ”Recently, I’ve received news about some Pokemon needing help, so I’ve been going out to rescue them every day.”

Engaging with the seals of the four Ruinous Pokemon, purifying the Power of Calamity on them, awakening their true selves, it’s all for rescue.

Upon hearing this, Zack widened his eyes, ”Has there been another fire?”

Naoki was momentarily stunned, then laughed, ”Of course not, it’s just that some Pokemon are trapped and can’t come out on their own. Some trainers told me about them, so I went to help.”

”Ah!” Zack breathed a sigh of relief, then called out loudly, ”Keep it up! If there’s anything you need help with, just let me know! Oh, and here’s today’s payment, I’ve already transferred it to you!”

Naoki glanced at his Rotom Phone and, as expected, found the message about the transfer.

”Got it, I’ve received it,” he nodded.

Technology is developing so fast nowadays, and once electronic payment came out, it quickly spread worldwide.

Even Zack and his brother have started using electronic payments.

”I won’t say much more, the ranch next door is still waiting for me, see you later!”

Saying this, Zack got into the car and waved to Naoki through the window.

”See you later!”

Naoki replied, then watched Zack’s truck drive away from the ranch.

After he could no longer see it, he turned around, ready to make Reversed Red Tea to transform Wo-Chien’s Power of Calamity into Power of Auspicious.

However, as soon as he turned, he saw Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu had somehow arrived there.

Chi-Yu was floating inside the large cauldron on Ting-Lu’s head, only a pair of bead-shaped eyes were peering out.

Ting-Lu couldn’t help but ask, ”Moo-moo?” (Naoki, I’m really curious, who did you bring back this time?)

Naoki didn’t hide anything, ”It’s Wo-Chien.”

”Moo-moo!” (So it’s that old fellow!)

Upon hearing this, Ting-Lu hurriedly urged, ”Moo-moo!” (Wait! Don’t release that old fellow yet, or else your ranch, and the crops you’ve planted will all suffer, go quickly to make the dish! Transform that old fellow back!)

Chi-Yu also added, ”Fish-fish.” (That’s right, that guy absorbs energy from plants and trees, it once caused an entire forest to wither and disappear in a very short time.)

Seeing Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu’s concern for the ranch, Naoki couldn’t help but smile:

”Don’t worry, I already know, I’m going to make the dish now to help it return to its original form.”)

Ting-Lu: ”Moo-moo!” (Then I’ll leave that old fellow to you!)

Naoki nodded.

He then went to the living room and brewed red tea using the Water of the Reversed World.

Soon, a cup of Reversed Red Tea was born.

Naoki arrived in the middle of the ranch, and to prevent Wo-Chien from destroying the crops, he specifically invited Calyrex over to help with protection.

Once Calyrex was in position, Naoki finally took out Wo-Chien’s Poke Ball.

Accompanied by a flash of white light, Wo-Chien’s massive body appeared on the grass.

Perhaps influenced by the Power of Calamity on it, the grass below immediately began to wither.

Compared to Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, the malicious influence on Wo-Chien was noticeably stronger. At this moment, its mind wasn’t as clear as Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu’s.

But fortunately, with Calyrex around, even if Wo-Chien had all the strength in the world, it couldn’t exert it.

With Calyrex’s help, Naoki fed the Reversed Red Tea to Wo-Chien.

As the tea entered, a white light suddenly burst from Wo-Chien’s body.

Next, a magical scene unfolded.

In the light, Wo-Chien’s originally yellowing leaves all turned into vibrant, fresh green leaves!

And Wo-Chien’s cloudy eyes gradually became clear.

A gentle force was released from its body and flowed into the earth.

The next moment, Naoki saw that the patch of grass that had just withered from Wo-Chien absorbing its energy now returned to a lush, thriving state!
