His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1551: Chapter 435: Dodge It and Win a House

Later, he developed a habit: hoping to be by her side on snowy days no matter how busy he was!

When she first arrived in Paris as a child, her guardian was impatient with her, always feeling she had psychological issues, and even scolded her. Mu Yichen then gathered some thugs to smash things up at her house and threatened her with her family, only then did Qin Mu’s days get less difficult.

Mu Yichen knew he had been quite a ruffian in the past, but seeing her no longer have to live under the shadow of her mother’s death, his heart felt at ease.

Now he is still afraid, afraid that when she faces a snowstorm alone, she will uncontrollably think of her mother and become unable to extricate herself, afraid she will panic and be frightened again, so he is here now.

”Don’t try to guess a man’s mind, you’ll never understand it!”

Qin Mu saw he wasn’t responding to her, so she started talking to herself, but she couldn’t help watching him.

Mu Yichen chuckled lightly, his dark eyes looked at her, profound enough that she felt like she was being sucked in, suddenly a bit nervous.

”What’s up!”

Qin Mu pulled Mu Yichen’s hand out of his coat pocket, shook it in her hand.

”Let’s go to the apartment! It’s been a long time since we went!”

Mu Yichen suddenly said.

Hearing the word ”apartment” made Qin Mu’s mind suddenly go blank. Why did he suddenly think of the apartment?

”I think no one’s cleaned it for a long time!”

She softly reminded him.

”It won’t get you dirty, let’s go!”

Mu Yichen suddenly took the initiative to grab her hand, leading her to walk back, going to drive.

Qin Mu had no choice, she went and informed the studio, while Mu Yichen waited for her outside, almost turning into a snowman.

Qin Mu laughed while gently brushing the snow off his head, using a bit of force while patting his body, which got her hand caught by Mu Yichen.

”Ouch!”

”Ouch? You hit me that hard and I didn’t even say ouch?”

”Wasn’t hitting you at all!”

Qin Mu held back her laughter, puffing up her cheeks as she retorted.

Mu Yichen’s dark eyes watched her, then he wrapped his arms around her and sent her into the car.

This way, he worried she really might catch a cold.

Qin Mu’s hair was also covered with snowflakes, and since she hadn’t brushed them off when she came inside, some of it had gotten wet. As soon as she was in the car, Mu Yichen immediately turned on the heater.

Mu Yichen started the car and drove seriously, heading towards the apartment.

Qin Mu didn’t know why he suddenly wanted to go to the apartment, but she still used her phone to turn on the air conditioning there in advance, then waited patiently.

Going to spend some alone time with him seemed nice; they hadn’t been there in so long. Thinking about just the two of them there, with no noise, hmm, it felt quite blissful!

Qin Mu mused to herself, while Mu Yichen had no idea what she was thinking, he just asked her: ”Where did you have lunch?”

”Near the hospital, with Xiaohao!”

Qin Mu replied, turning her gaze from outside back to his defined profile.

”You have time to dine with her, but didn’t have time to sleep with your husband?”

Mu Yichen brought up last night’s matter again.

Qin Mu immediately choked on her words, staring blankly at him without saying a word in explanation.

Mu Yichen glanced at her, then continued driving seriously.

The snow outside kept falling. Qin Mu thought for a moment and then turned on the music; the radio was playing the song ”Serious Snow” by the old Xue.

Qin Mu couldn’t help but laugh softly, as if suddenly finding a topic, she said to him: ”I know how to sing this song too, shall I sing it for you?”

”No need!”

Mu Yichen coldly refused.

Qin Mu glanced at him sideways, feeling a bit snubbed.

Mu Yichen, however, quickly drove the car to the apartment, and the two of them took the elevator from the underground garage, heading upstairs.

Qin Mu entered the password, the door opened, and a warm rush of air greeted them.

Mu Yichen looked at her: ”You got smarter!”

”After spending so much time with President Mu, how could I not become a little smarter?”

Qin Mu raised her eyes, speaking to him with a wide grin.

Mu Yichen chuckled, went inside, took out slippers for both of them, changed into them, and walked further inside.

The house was very clean; he went to the kitchen to boil water for her. Qin Mu bent over the sofa, touched it and saw her hand was spotlessly clean, then suddenly jumped onto it, lying there and letting out a contented sigh.

Mu Yichen finished boiling water, poured two cups, saw her lying on the sofa looking at him leisurely, his heart hardened involuntarily, thinking to himself, let’s see if you can still smile later, then strode towards her with his long legs.
