His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1584: Chapter 443: Mommy, Kiss Daddy Quickly

Mu Yichen lowered his dark eyes, knowing she was deliberately coaxing him, and it was rare.

”You follow me? First, go bring that box upstairs!”

Mu Yichen didn’t trust her at all. He asked her once and, without waiting for her agreement, immediately gave the order.

Qin Mu...

”What? Didn’t you just say to do whatever I want? Now you’re going back on it?”

”Oh dear! No, it’s not like that! Can we do it later? What if mom and dad ask about it, how should I respond?”

Qin Mu wrapped her arms around his waist, looking up as she continued to plead.

”I don’t care how you answer, the main thing is to bring that box upstairs for me, I want to play with it now.”

”You want to play with the box?”

Qin Mu asked him in a low, weak voice, feeling very wronged.

”I want to play with you, but first, you have to bring the box upstairs.”

Mu, again explained, his eyes growing sharper.

Qin Mu looked up at him and suddenly started to whine: ”No! Play with me first! Please! Please!”

Qin Mu hugged him, repeatedly begging, thinking, I don’t believe your heart is made of stone.

”Did you know I would be waiting for me here? Did you think I’d forgive you for running away?”

”No! Really, no! It just suddenly occurred to me that I promised Huanhuan I’d accompany her.”

”Oh?”

Mu Yichen raised an eyebrow, his clearly defined features taking on a sterner expression.

”I’m serious!”

Women! It’s always easy to act cute or foolish!

”Serious? Seriously messing with me, huh? Before I left this morning, I told you I’d have someone send your things to your studio, and you agreed, so what? The things were all sent, and now you’re unhappy?”

Mu Yichen let her hold onto him, continuing his inquiry.

”What? You told me that? How come I don’t remember?”

Qin Mu was completely confused, trying hard to recall but couldn’t remember a thing.

”So you called me, asking me to leave my client to pick you up after work? I really left my client to find you, and what did you do?”

By now, Qin Mu understood that General Mu had figured everything out.

”I’m sorry! But it’s just, when I saw such a big box you sent to my studio, you have no idea, Xiaomei asked me to open it, and I almost stupidly did! Luckily I sensed something was off and closed it, or everyone at the studio would’ve known what you bought... those bizarre little things.”

She didn’t dare say those last few words out loud, but she certainly thought them.

In fact, Mu understood clearly.

It’s just that Mrs. Mu had been dozing off in the morning and didn’t hear him, which is why all the incidents that followed happened.

He truly didn’t know whether to be angry, or... angrier!

But if he forgave her right now, there wouldn’t be any fun tonight, so after considering, General Mu decided to keep a stern face.

”Do you want me to forgive you?”

Mu Yichen asked her as he looked down.

”Yes!”

Qin Mu nodded vigorously.

”Now get on the couch!”

”Hm?”

”Or do you prefer kneeling on the floor!”

”What?”

Qin Mu’s face changed dramatically.

”What? Changing your mind again?”

General Mu looked at her with fierce eyes.

”No! It’s just! It’s about time for dinner, isn’t it?”

Qin Mu was very troubled.

Mu Yichen suddenly went silent, just looking at her unhappily, as if she were a criminal.

After being stared at by him for half a minute, Qin Mu was already shivering.

”Alright!”

Qin Mu thought, better sooner than later.

”Knock, knock, knock! Young master, young mistress, dinner is almost ready!”

The aunt appeared just in time at the door to save the day.

Qin Mu suddenly felt relieved, instinctively looking up at Mu Yichen.

Mu Yichen’s eyebrows were already reshaping into a frown.

”Well! It’s not that I don’t want to! After dinner, I promise!”

Qin Mu said nervously to him.

Mu Yichen didn’t say anything else. During dinner time, he remained silent.

Feng Fanghua saw him frowning all the time and couldn’t help but express concern: ”Should we call a doctor to check on you at home, you look worse than before!”

After Feng Fanghua said this, everyone simultaneously looked at Mu Yichen, including the two little ones across the table chewing away happily.

Mu Yichen lifted his gaze slightly and happened to meet those two little ones’ curious big eyes, involuntarily furrowing his brows even more.

”I’m fine.”

Mu Yichen spoke three bland words, then picked up his chopsticks to serve food.

Qin Mu glanced at him, then immediately added food he liked to his bowl: ”Eat more!”

Mu Yichen didn’t even look at her, just glanced at the bowl of food. While everyone was worried about him, he thought to himself, Mrs. Mu, you’d better eat more yourself, tonight’s show hasn’t even started!

”Grandma, you don’t need to worry about dad, when dad is sick, all he needs is a kiss from mom to get better! Mom, quickly kiss dad!”

”Cough, cough!”

Qin Mu was just about to drink soup, but after hearing her daughter’s words, she didn’t even get to drink it as her throat felt a sudden itch, making her cough a couple of times.

”Mom, don’t be shy!”
