Chapter 990: Chapter 986: Mei Huizi, the Cold-faced Dual Blades

After a bout of chaos, a new change finally arrived.

When the dark clouds dissipated and the sunlight once again shone upon the earth, the half-real, half-illusory monstrous Ghost Face finally seemed to meet its nemesis, disappearing like darkness encountering light, instantly vanishing into thin air.

——

At the same time, ten miles away from the scene, a woman in a villa was walking barefoot, anxiously pacing back and forth, with an indescribable panic in her expression, as if she was afraid of something.

The woman was beautiful, with a top-tier figure. Her wine-red nightgown perfectly outlined her curves, with her white legs exposed. She truly was the standard of beauty!

Yet in the next moment, just as she was about to lift her foot, a sudden severe pain erupted from her abdomen, as if a steel knife was recklessly cutting inside, making her vision black out and causing her to fall heavily onto the soft carpet.

”Puh!”

A mouthful of crimson spilled from her mouth, causing her face to suddenly turn pale, and her enchanting eyes gradually losing their luster... She understood her plan had completely failed.

Yet she remained unwilling to accept it, confused about where she went wrong, or perhaps it wasn’t her mistake at all, but rather someone intervened that shattered her entire plan.

Knowing her fate wouldn’t be good, the woman wiped the blood from her lips, enduring the severe pain, and started rummaging through cabinets.

...

Ten minutes later, the woman appeared outside the villa, carrying a large travel bag on her back, wearing colorful sunglasses. She took a deep look behind her and then left without any reluctance.

Though the failed plan was regrettable, and the person who ruined it detestable, both combined could never outweigh her own life, for only by surviving can she get everything she desires.

Otherwise, even if she gained everything but lost her life, what would be the meaning of it?

Yet, just as she took two steps forward, her pace abruptly halted, and the gaze hidden behind her sunglasses couldn’t help but change.

”Mei Huizi, the housekeeper?” The woman seemed very surprised and then asked calmly, ”What brings you here?”

Mei Huizi’s face was colder than ever, this longest-serving royal housekeeper always greeted everyone with smiles, never having a lapse in etiquette, but at this moment, her eyes toward the woman were full of murderous intent!

”What did Princess do to offend you?” Mei Huizi coldly questioned, ”Why did you use such cruel and inhuman methods on her?”

Suddenly hearing these words, the woman’s delicate body trembled, her tense body tightened, but she still pretended to ask, ”What are you talking about? What happened to the Princess?”

Mei Huizi immediately let out a cold laugh: ”Playing dumb at this point only tarnishes your reputation as the ’Blood-colored Poison Flower’. You know better than anyone what happened to the Princess!”

With these words, a chilling aura instantly spread through the air. The woman’s voice seemed infected, losing its former sweetness and becoming cold.

”You saw through me long ago?”

”Indeed!”

With a confirmed answer, Mei Huizi angrily roared: ”I recognized who you were the moment I laid eyes on you. You deceiving the Majesty is your affair, but I will never forgive your actions against the Princess!”

As she spoke, an astounding aura suddenly emerged from Mei Huizi, as if even the air was burning with her every move, demonstrating an extraordinary expert demeanor, the kind of top-tier expert!

If someone from the royal household were here, their eyes would be wide open, for this kind and gentle housekeeper is actually such a powerful master!

In fact, even her closest confidant, Ozawa Miwa, didn’t know about this. Mei Huizi was hiding so deeply, even surpassing those middle-aged men.

...

”No wonder you’re the royal housekeeper, truly admirable skills!” With her identity revealed, the woman no longer hid her form, her aura unfolding and equaling the strength demonstrated by Mei Huizi.

”Do you want to know why I targeted that little wench?” The woman sighed longingly, then said sinisterly: ”If she isn’t removed, I can’t control her father... Blame her for being too meddlesome, I suppose.”

Mei Huizi’s face grew colder as she said sternly, ”Your target is His Majesty?”

”Wrong!”

The woman scoffed lightly, then straightened her delicate body suddenly, saying loudly: ”My target is the entire royal family, but no matter how much I calculated, I didn’t foresee any mistakes... But it doesn’t matter, even if my Celestial Demon Vine can be resolved, the Heart-Breaking Fruit won’t be so easily countered, will it?”

Mei Huizi couldn’t help but be surprised, never imagining the Blood-colored Poison Flower would possess such ambition.

”Hard to believe, isn’t it?”

The Blood-colored Poison Flower removed her sunglasses, revealing a disdainful smile and said: ”I actually wonder, why are you so hostile to me? I didn’t force that young princess to consume the Heart-Breaking Fruit. I didn’t use any means from start to finish, even if she dies, it would be fulfilling her wishes... wouldn’t it?!”

”But you tampered with the Heart-Breaking Fruit, don’t deny it!” Mei Huizi was so angry that her teeth itched, almost squeezing out the words through clenched teeth.

The Blood-colored Poison Flower showed a charming smile: ”Then you should really thank me. Without me, that Princess wouldn’t live past three days, and within those three days, she would endure torturous suffering; you speak for her, but did you consider her feelings?”

”I did it to help her, even if she ends up a ghost, it’s far better than losing her life or enduring three days of torment, right?”

Finally unable to contain herself, Mei Huizi’s overwhelming anger made her opt out of verbal battles with this notoriously vicious Blood-colored Poison Flower, instead taking brisk and decisive action, striking out immediately with a deadly move!

In an instant, Mei Huizi and Blood-colored Poison Flower’s positions switched, and with her move falling short, Mei Huizi didn’t show any surprise, only squinting her eyes, her fighting spirit bubbling even more...

”Let me see what skills this Yin Yang Master possesses!”

With a roar, Mei Huizi spread her hands, unleashing her True Qi without reservation, soon transforming it into two silver-glowing curved blades.

At this point, the Blood-colored Poison Flower finally showed a look of surprise, unable to contain her shock, ”Cold-faced Dual Blades? It’s actually you?!”

Saying so, she even gasped sharply.
