Chapter 49: Chapter 47: Discharged from the Hospital

Sun Tian was publicly rejected by Lin Bingxuan, and later suffered a setback at Xiao Tian’s hands. After returning home, the more he thought about it, the angrier he became. Eventually, he didn’t even eat dinner, and called for a driver to take him to Lin Bingxuan’s residence to confront her.

He waited for quite a while but didn’t see Lin Bingxuan return, which made Sun Tian increasingly agitated.

In his mind, he kept visualizing Lin Bingxuan reveling under Xiao Tian, which made him very uncomfortable.

”Boss, it’s Lin Bingxuan’s car.” Sun Tian’s confidant driver spotted Lin Bingxuan’s car entering the community’s gate and reported it to Sun Tian.

Hearing this, Sun Tian quickly looked up and saw that it was indeed Lin Bingxuan’s car. However, the person driving wasn’t Lin Bingxuan; it seemed to be the young man who threw him out earlier that afternoon.

At this moment, Xiao Tian had already parked the car at Lin Bingxuan’s doorstep. He and Lin Bingxuan got out of the car, preparing to open the door and enter the house.

This scene made Sun Tian’s eyes burn with jealousy, like a raging wildfire bursting forth.

Sun Tian rasped to the driver, ”If there’s a conflict in a moment, make sure to hit that kid hard. Don’t worry about the consequences; I’ll take responsibility for any issues.”

After saying this, Sun Tian aggressively opened the car door and got out.

The driver heard Sun Tian’s words, twitched his lips, gave Xiao Tian a cold look, and also got out of the car.

”Lin Bingxuan, acting all high and mighty in front of me. I didn’t expect you to be such a whore who sleeps around with everyone. How long have you even known this kid, and you’re already living together?”

Sun Tian’s eyes shone with resentment, speaking with the utmost malice.

Lin Bingxuan and Xiao Tian turned around to look at Sun Tian.

”Xiao Tian, don’t bother with this kind of person.” Lin Bingxuan coldly glanced at Sun Tian and held back Xiao Tian, who was about to step forward.

”Heh, what’s the matter? It’s just past a little time, and you already want this kid to serve you? How about adding me to the mix, I guarantee you’ll enjoy it too.” Sun Tian smirked lewdly and thrust his hips.

Just as he finished speaking, he suddenly found a figure glaring before him, and it was none other than the pretty boy, Xiao Tian, that he mocked.

”What do you want to do—”

Before Sun Tian could finish his sentence, Xiao Tian grabbed his throat and slowly lifted him up.

Seeing this scene, the driver who was always behind Sun Tian widened his eyes, looking incredulously.

Even with his keen eyesight, he couldn’t see how Xiao Tian had moved to stand in front of Sun Tian.

Especially seeing Xiao Tian effortlessly lift Sun Tian with one arm, he was shocked.

Although he could also manage the same feat, he couldn’t do it with the same ease as Xiao Tian.

Even knowing his own limitations compared to Xiao Tian, the driver still stepped forward to try and save Sun Tian.

Xiao Tian disdainfully glanced at the driver, then with a single-arm throw, tossed Sun Tian towards the driver.

Even though the driver was prepared, he was still knocked down by Sun Tian, and the two collided into a heap, falling to the side.

”I don’t care who you are, if I hear one more bad word about Bingxuan from you, I will make you understand that being alive can be a painful choice,” Xiao Tian coldly warned Sun Tian, then turned to address the driver.

”He may not understand what I’m saying, but I assume you know the consequences.”

Without further attention to the two, he turned around, embraced Lin Bingxuan, and entered the house.

Still lying on the ground, Sun Tian with a face full of fury and anger stared at the couple.

”I will get my revenge!” Sun Tian gritted his teeth and declared.

”Boss, I advise you to give up on that thought. This person is not someone you can deal with,” the driver warned, rubbing his chest and staring with fear at Xiao Tian’s departing silhouette.

He understood Xiao Tian’s threat and could sense a hint of feral aura in Xiao Tian’s demeanor, a presence that only emerges from experiences on a battlefield.

”Heh, just a country bumpkin, and you think I can’t handle him?” Sun Tian, filled with jealousy and hatred, wouldn’t listen to any advice.

Seeing Sun Tian’s expression, the driver shook his head slightly, choosing not to persuade further, but he had already made up his mind to leave Shanghai the next day.

The driver was quite a character himself, having survived life and death on the border, climbing out of a pile of corpses. But he had survived not by strength, but by his wits.

The aura Sun Tian emitted just now reminded him of those tragic days, when a small group he belonged to was hunted down by Huaxia officials.

Although he was not certain whether Xiao Tian was among that group, the pressure Xiao Tian exerted on him was even stronger than theirs.

He was convinced that if he had dared to intervene, and if Xiao Tian discovered his past dark history, Xiao Tian would unhesitatingly kill him.

Being naturally cautious, he wouldn’t take such a risk.

The life or death of Sun Tian was not something he considered.

After dropping Sun Tian back at the Sun Family villa, the driver drove away from Shanghai, never to return.

Xiao Tian spent a lustful night at Lin Bingxuan’s home. When he woke up the next day, Lin Bingxuan had already left for work, leaving a mouthwatering breakfast on the table as usual.

After eating breakfast, Xiao Tian headed towards the hospital. Today was the day his mentor Yu Ningxue was discharged.

When Xiao Tian arrived at the hospital, Yu Ningxue had already tidied up.

Seeing Yu Ningxue, Xiao Tian was momentarily stunned. Normally, Yu Ningxue dressed in quite androgynous clothing, giving off a spirited and bold vibe. But today she was different, a chiffon dress offering a touch of feminine softness, making her particularly charming.

”Sorry, beautiful master, traffic jam, traffic jam!”

”Are you really unwilling to pick me up from the hospital? If you’re unwilling, you should’ve said so earlier!” Yu Ningxue rolled her eyes and said.

”How could I not come! I need to check if my beautiful master has fully recovered!”

As he spoke, Xiao Tian moved forward to untie Yu Ningxue’s clothes, intending to check her wounds.

”You little rascal, do you have a death wish!”

Yu Ningxue glared at him and swiftly dodged to the side, delivering a high kick towards Xiao Tian’s face.

With Xiao Tian’s agility, Yu Ningxue’s kick naturally didn’t land. He caught her long, straight leg with ease.

In her haste, Yu Ningxue had forgotten she was wearing a skirt. It wasn’t until Xiao Tian caught her outstretched leg that she realized, her face flushing with embarrassment.

She wanted to tell Xiao Tian to let go, but seeing him staring intently at her skirt, she grew furious.

Coldly, she asked, ”Does it look good?”

”Very good!” Xiao Tian replied without looking away.

”Do you want to touch it as well?”

Xiao Tian raised his head and looked at Yu Ningxue in feigned surprise, saying, ”I didn’t expect the beautiful master to be so generous! I humbly accept your offer!”

As he said this, his hand reached deep beneath Yu Ningxue’s skirt, not daring to touch the mysterious part, but he let his fingers slide over the top of her thigh.

Having completed this action, he knew Yu Ningxue would explode. With nimble movements, he darted aside, grabbing Yu Ningxue’s luggage at the same time, and then zipped out of the ward like the wind.

”Beautiful master, let me go handle your discharge paperwork first.”

”You little rascal! I’ll kill you!”

Only then did Yu Ningxue recover from her shock, feeling the itch on her inner thigh. She yelled furiously towards the door but didn’t give chase.

As she calmed down and was about to leave, Xiao Tian appeared at the doorway again and said to Yu Ningxue:

”By the way, beautiful master, I forgot to tell you, if you have time, you should buy some sexy underwear! These granny panties really don’t match you at all!”

As soon as Xiao Tian finished speaking, he ducked back, shutting the door behind him, while a pair of scissors flew past the spot where he had been standing—a clear indication of Yu Ningxue’s seething fury.

Afraid that Yu Ningxue would come out after him, Xiao Tian hurriedly fled towards the hospital’s service desk to handle Yu Ningxue’s discharge.

While processing the discharge paperwork, Xiao Tian was also harassed by a group of enthusiastic female nurses, who were clearly trying to keep him at the hospital with a honey trap from the administration.

It wasn’t until Xiao Tian and Yu Ningxue got into a taxi that Yu Ningxue’s face remained icy, showing no hint of a smile.

Sitting in the taxi, Xiao Tian snuck a glance at Yu Ningxue, realizing she was completely ignoring him. He pleaded:

”Beautiful master, please don’t be mad! How about I treat you to a meal to make it up to you?”

Yu Ningxue rolled her eyes and said nothing.

”I’ll take you to Tianle Hotel for shark fin soup and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall?”

Hearing the name of the dish, Yu Ningxue’s eyes brightened, but she still didn’t agree to reconcile with Xiao Tian.

Seeing a chance, Xiao Tian upped his offer: ”Tianle Hotel, one of each of their signature dishes!”

”Deal!” Yu Ningxue agreed eagerly.

For a foodie, having free delicious food is one of life’s great pleasures, especially when it’s food she always wanted to try but hadn’t had the time for.

”Haha, miss, your boyfriend really is going all out! If he orders as he said, it would cost at least a few hundred thousand, wouldn’t it?”

The forty- to fifty-year-old driver sitting in front grinned at Yu Ningxue through the rearview mirror.

”I’m not his girlfriend.” Yu Ningxue’s face reddened as she shyly countered.

”Aren’t you? Then you should soon agree to be his girlfriend, this young man seems to deeply care about you, to go this far for reconciliation. Don’t miss a guy like him.” the driver chimed in incessantly.

”Yes, beautiful master, agree to be with me!” Xiao Tian joined in.

Yu Ningxue glared at Xiao Tian with flushed anger.

Instantly, Xiao Tian fell silent.

But the driver was quite a chatterbox and continued speaking on Xiao Tian’s behalf, prompting Xiao Tian to nod enthusiastically.

Yu Ningxue rolled her eyes, praying the police station would arrive soon.
