God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 32: Chapter 30: Two-Finger Zen?

Xiao Tian and Nie Lan stood there glaring, while the thief, not pleased, shouted angrily.

”If you don’t want to die, get out of my way!”

Now only Xiao Tian was blocking the road, and the thief waved his knife at Xiao Tian.

Concerned passersby nearby, still lingering, whispered to persuade Xiao Tian to step aside.

”Young man, step aside quickly, he’s got a knife, this is not something we can handle.”

Xiao Tian smiled slightly and said, ”This knife can’t hurt me.”

Hearing Xiao Tian’s boast, the passersby felt he was young and reckless, speaking with fervor, not considering the consequences, and shook their heads.

However, Nie Lan suddenly looked at Xiao Tian with expectation in her eyes, having personally experienced Xiao Tian’s prowess.

By rights, she was not a weak lady but rather fierce.

Wherever she went, she relied on her fierceness, never suffered, but at that time she couldn’t break free from Xiao Tian’s grip and got spanked by him.

Uh, thinking of this, Nie Lan’s buttocks started to ache faintly again.

This was indeed encountering a thief after meeting a former thug, Nie Lan was conflicted, should she ask Xiao Tian for help?

”You... help me catch the thief, and I will apologize to you for last time.”

After all, it was her fault last time, Nie Lan wasn’t completely unreasonable.

Xiao Tian glanced at her, feeling her attitude was sincere enough.

With a knife in his face, daring to say he’s not afraid, the thief thought, if this guy isn’t a fool, then he’s really skilled.

However, the thief suddenly noticed Xiao Tian’s bandaged hand and was immediately reassured.

No matter how capable someone is, can one hand beat a man with a knife?

While Nie Lan was talking to Xiao Tian, the thief tightened his grip on the knife, gave a sinister smile, and unexpectedly stabbed forward.

The knife flashed coldly in the light.

”Ah!”

The onlookers gasped in surprise at this scene.

They also noticed Xiao Tian’s injured hand; the thief deliberately aimed for his injured side, thinking the young man was done for, and worried for him.

”Damn!”

But before they could worry completely, they were quickly astonished again.

Only to see Xiao Tian stretch out two fingers and actually clamp the thief’s suddenly thrusting knife.

Having already seen through the thief’s intentions, Xiao Tian calmly said, ”To deal with someone like you, I can manage with just two fingers.”

The thief’s eyes widened in disbelief, he exerted all his strength to push the knife forward.

But Xiao Tian’s two fingers were like the Five-finger Mountain of Buddha, no matter how hard he tried, the knife couldn’t move a bit further.

The desperate thief cried out, trying to pull the knife out, but it was as if the knife had grown on Xiao Tian’s hand, despite using all his might, he couldn’t extract it an inch.

The thief was exhausted and sweating all over, gazing at Xiao Tian with a face full of terror.

Now he finally realized he was confronting a truly formidable person, scared to the point of wanting to drop the knife and run.

At this moment, Xiao Tian suddenly released his grip, and the thief, who hadn’t retracted his strength, fell on his backside with a ’boom!’ and rolled several times on the ground before he could barely stop.

When the thief raised his head, his face was bruised and swollen, completely dazed from the fall.

The onlookers watched this scene in disbelief.

Even Nie Lan was full of incredulity.

Two fingers catching a knife! This kind of legendary martial skill was something only seen on kung fu TV shows!

Too amazing! Too badass!

”Young man, you’re truly impressive!”

The admiring gasps of the onlookers were unending, their gaze at Xiao Tian was like seeing a rare national protected animal in a zoo.

At this time, the patrolling night officers just happened to check the scene, seeing a crowd, two officers got off to investigate.

”What’s going on?” one officer asked.

”Ah, isn’t this Officer Xiao?!” a female officer immediately recognized Xiao Tian.

It seems she’s heard of Xiao Tian’s heroic deeds, her tone carrying excitement of meeting someone she admired,

Xiao Tian nodded at them, briefly explaining the situation.

The two officers returned the bag to Nie Lan and then escorted the thief to the car.

Before the patrol car drove away, the female officer warmly invited Xiao Tian, ”Officer Xiao, come visit our station when you have time.”

Xiao Tian smiled, nodded at her, feeling slightly smug, thinking his charm must have increased again, being so welcomed.

...

After the matter was resolved and the crowd dispersed, Xiao Tian also prepared to leave when a silhouette stood in front of him.

Xiao Tian glanced at Nie Lan indifferently, she seemed a bit embarrassed at first, then finally mustered up the courage to speak: ”Um... I apologize for scratching your car and running away last time.”

”Hmm.” Xiao Tian let out a light snort, then waited for a while, but Nie Lan didn’t continue.

Xiao Tian raised an eyebrow and asked, ”And then?”

”And then?” Nie Lan was a bit confused, thinking, I’ve apologized, what else is there?

”Miss, you scratched up my car, and just saying sorry is it?”

Upon hearing Xiao Tian’s words, Nie Lan suddenly realized and asked, ”You want me to compensate you for it?”

Isn’t this nonsense!

It’s not that Xiao Tian is stingy, but Lin Bingxuan’s luxury car costs tens of thousands just to patch up the paint. He’s poor now and can’t rely on his woman for everything, or else he’d just be freeloading.

Nie Lan is acutely aware of the exorbitant repair costs for Xiao Tian’s luxury car and said somewhat awkwardly, ”It’s not that I don’t want to compensate you, but I... I’m broke.”

”Broke?” Xiao Tian scanned Nie Lan from top to bottom.

Feeling Xiao Tian’s intense stare, Nie Lan suddenly covered her chest, looked down, blushing, and said, ”Are you thinking about having me pay with my body?!”

Xiao Tian was speechless; he was merely checking if she was lying, and this lady suddenly leaps to that idea.

Last time, too, he was only teaching her a lesson, and she thought he was going to assault her. This lady surprisingly has dirtier thoughts than the professional rogue here.

Xiao Tian decided he wouldn’t lose in dirtiness.

”What? You’re not willing to pay with your body? How about this, I originally planned for you to pay with your body ten or eight times, now I’ll give you a discount, just three times. Come on, come home with me today, let’s start with one.”

He said while pulling Nie Lan along.

”No!” Even though she acts a bit dirty, Nie Lan is actually quite conservative.

Suddenly thinking of something, Nie Lan’s eyes sparkled as she asked Xiao Tian, ”I will pay you back, but before that, I want to ask you a question first.”

”What question?”

”Are you good at driving?”

”Not bad.” Not only cars, Xiao Tian can fly airplanes!

”Then come with me!” Nie Lan said, grabbing Xiao Tian’s hand.

Based on Xiao Tian’s expert handling of the thief earlier, Nie Lan absolutely believes that Xiao Tian’s skills extend beyond that. When he says ”not bad,” it must be truly outstanding.

Xiao Tian was dragged by Nie Lan, wearing a puzzled look, wondering what was going on.

Could it be that in this lady’s mind, driving skills equate to bedroom skills?

If that’s the case, he shouldn’t have been modest earlier; he should’ve been honest, saying superior driving (bedroom) skills definitely can make you soar!

...

The two took a taxi, and on the way Nie Lan proactively told Xiao Tian her name.

Xiao Tian mused, could it be this lady likes people calling her name while having fun?

Thinking Nie Lan was taking him home for a passionate payback, their taxi stopped at the East Suburb mountain road, favored by underground racers.

”Why are we here?” Could it be this lady also likes outdoor fun?

However, when Xiao Tian saw the road lined with luxury cars, famous cars, and supercars, he finally realized that the lady was not taking him home for a romp; there’s a race today.

Nie Lan had just opened the car door.

”Yo, isn’t that Nie Lan!” A little ruffian chewing gum ambled towards Nie Lan.

Nie Lan didn’t appear too happy seeing her, evidently there was some tension.

Sure enough, the little ruffian spoke disdainfully, ”You still dare to come, Nie Lan? I genuinely feel ashamed for your thick skin.”

Nie Lan retorted bluntly, ”Spare me the nonsense, I’m not racing today; I brought a powerful helper.” She pointed at Xiao Tian.

Turns out, Nie Lan brought Xiao Tian to help her with the race, Xiao Tian was a bit unhappy; it wasn’t about rolling in bed, why didn’t she explain this beforehand?!

The little ruffian sized up Xiao Tian and couldn’t see a shred of racer spirit in him.

Hanging around professional or amateur driver circles, she believed a driver should carry an air of superiority, looking impressive, at least dressing differently.

But Xiao Tian dressed so properly, at a glance he seemed very honest.

Extremely ordinary, unlike any kind of racer, let alone a master.

Taking a glance at his hand, still wrapped in bandages, worse than a regular person, more like an injured man.

Nie Lan actually found such a phony, utterly laughable.

”Hahaha, Nie Lan, where did you dig this imposter from? Your IQ makes me seriously worried.” The little ruffian sneered disdainfully.

”Don’t get cocky, Hé might be impressive, but you won’t know until it’s raced.” Nie Lan glared fiercely at the little ruffian, then turned to say to Xiao Tian:

”Compete with them, teach them a lesson for me, earn money, and consider it paid back to me.”

Turns out, that’s Nie Lan’s clever plan.

Despite the annoying sarcasm from the little ruffian, Nie Lan’s silent exploitation was even more irritating to Xiao Tian.

He was uninterested in Nie Lan’s demand for him to race.

”Go on!” Seeing Xiao Tian’s reaction, Nie Lan was anxious.

”Hahaha, so you haven’t dealt with this guy yet, Nie Lan, you’d better stop making a fool of yourself. Hurry up and leave; we have a race to start.” The little ruffian taunted, convinced Xiao Tian was scared.

Being used displeased Xiao Tian, he was unconcerned with Nie Lan’s unreasonable commotion, intending to leave.

Ring—

At this moment, Xiao Tian’s phone suddenly rang.

Pulling out the phone, after listening for a while, Xiao Tian’s expression changed.

At that time, from afar down the mountain path, there came roaring engine noises, followed by urgent police sirens.

Xiao Tian spoke gravely, ”It’s here!”
