Chapter 1246: Chapter 1246:- A golden Flash of Light

”Excellent. Everything is going according to plan. I spent six months searching for you two, so naturally, I made sure to prepare properly before coming here.” The Puppet Master said while looking at them with an excited expression.

He then raised his right hand and pointed toward Lilith. ”Number One, capture the Succubus Saint. Be careful not to damage her body too much. I still need her blood essence for my research.” The Puppet Master ordered.

The armored puppet immediately began moving toward Lilith. The Puppet Master then pointed toward Amelia.

”Number Two, capture the Elf Saint. And remember, I want both of them alive if possible. Their bodies are far too valuable to waste.” The Puppet Master ordered.

The human-shaped puppet immediately rushed toward Amelia. Lilith noticed the armored puppet approaching her and attempted to prepare a defensive barrier. However, because of the powder affecting her concentration, she was much slower than before.

By the time she managed to gather enough mana, the armored puppet was already standing directly in front of her.

BANG!!!!

The puppet struck her defensive barrier with one of its blades, causing several cracks to appear across its surface. Lilith gritted her teeth and attempted to strengthen the barrier, but the puppet immediately followed up with another powerful attack.

CRACK!!!!

The barrier shattered, and the force of the attack pushed Lilith several steps backwards.

At the same time, Amelia attempted to summon several roots to stop the human-shaped puppet. However, the moment she tried to focus, another loud explosion from the surrounding battlefield caused her to lose concentration.

The roots suddenly stopped moving for a brief moment. The human-shaped puppet immediately took advantage of this opening and rushed toward her.

BANG!!!!

It struck Amelia across the abdomen, sending her crashing onto the ground. Amelia attempted to stand up, but her vision was becoming increasingly blurry. The sounds of the surrounding battle were so loud that she could barely concentrate on anything.

Her anger was also growing stronger. She wanted to attack everything around her, but she knew that doing so might put her own soldiers in danger. This forced her to struggle against her own instincts while also trying to defend herself against the puppet.

Meanwhile, Lilith was in a similar situation. The armored puppet had already forced her onto one knee, and she was struggling to maintain her defensive barrier.

Seeing that both women were finally reaching their limits, the Puppet Master could no longer hide his excitement.

”Hehehe! Finally! After all these months, I’m finally going to obtain the blood essence of the two Saints!” The Puppet Master shouted while slowly walking toward them.

He could already imagine himself returning to his laboratory with their blood essence. With the special life energy contained inside their bodies, he believed that he would finally be able to complete his greatest creation.

The Ultimate Living Puppet.

”Don’t worry. I won’t kill either of you unless I have no other choice. After all, I still need to study your bodies. Once I finish my research, perhaps I’ll even allow you to see the wonderful creation that your blood helped me make.” The Puppet Master said with a disturbing smile.

Lilith raised her head and glared at him.

”Don’t... get too confident. We’re not finished yet.” Lilith replied while struggling to stand. However, the Puppet Master merely laughed.

”Still trying to act strong? Look at yourselves. Neither of you can even stand properly. What exactly are you going to do against my puppets?” The Puppet Master asked while raising his right hand.

The armored puppet immediately moved behind Lilith and prepared to restrain her arms. At the same time, the human-shaped puppet approached Amelia, who was still struggling to control her roots.

The Puppet Master slowly stepped forward, preparing to personally examine the two women once his puppets had completely restrained them. However, just as the armored puppet was about to grab Lilith’s arms, something unexpected happened.

Just as the Puppet Master was about to order his two puppets to capture Lilith and Amelia, a brilliant golden light suddenly appeared high above the battlefield. At first, the golden light looked like a small golden star shining in the sky. However, in the next moment, the light suddenly became much brighter before rushing toward the ground at an unbelievable speed.

SWOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!

The Puppet Master immediately sensed a terrifying amount of power approaching his position. The smile on his face instantly disappeared as he raised his head and looked toward the sky. However, before he could even understand what was happening or raise his hands to control his puppets, the golden flash had already reached them.

The armored puppet was the first to be struck. The golden flash passed straight through its body at such an incredible speed that the puppet did not even have enough time to react. For a brief moment, the armored puppet remained standing in the same position. However, in the next instant, several cracks suddenly appeared across its metal body.

CRAAAAACK!!!!

The cracks quickly spread across the puppet’s entire body before its armor began breaking apart. Within a fraction of a second, the puppet’s entire body was torn into countless pieces. Its artificial mana core was completely shattered, while the formations that had been placed inside its body were destroyed before they could even activate any defensive abilities.

However, the golden flash did not stop after destroying the first puppet. Almost immediately, it changed direction and rushed toward the second puppet, which was standing only a short distance away. The human-shaped puppet had only just begun turning its head when the golden flash reached it.

BANG!!!!

The golden light passed straight through the second puppet’s body, destroying it almost instantly. Its artificial mana core shattered, and the special formations inside its body were completely destroyed. Its arms, legs, and other body parts were torn apart and sent flying in different directions. Just like the armored puppet, the second puppet was completely destroyed before it could even put up any resistance.

Both Beginner Sixth Order puppets had been destroyed in less than a second.

Seeing this, the Puppet Master’s eyes widened in complete horror. He could not understand what had just happened. One moment, his two powerful puppets had been preparing to capture Lilith and Amelia. However, in the next moment, both of them had been completely destroyed by a mysterious golden flash that had suddenly appeared from the sky.

’Impossible! My puppets! What kind of attack was that?!’ The Puppet Master thought in disbelief as he stared at the broken pieces of his two creations.

However, before he could even finish that thought, the golden flash suddenly appeared directly in front of him. For the first time, the Puppet Master managed to see that there was actually someone inside the golden light.

However, before he could properly see the person’s face or recognize who it was, he suddenly noticed a fist moving toward the center of his chest.

The fist was moving so fast that the Puppet Master did not even have enough time to raise his arms to defend himself. He instinctively tried to gather mana around his chest to strengthen his defense, but before he could do anything, the fist had already reached him.

BAAAAAAAAAANG!!!!

The punch struck the Puppet Master directly in the center of his chest. The moment the fist made contact with his body, the defensive mana surrounding him was instantly broken. The force of the punch then passed straight into his chest, causing every single bone in his rib cage to break almost at the same time.

CRAAAAAACK!!!!

All of his ribs shattered under the terrifying force of the punch. Even his sternum, the large bone in the middle of his chest, broke apart. The impact was so powerful that the front of his chest was pushed inward, and a large mouthful of blood immediately burst from his mouth.

The Puppet Master’s eyes widened even further as terrible pain spread through his entire chest. He could clearly feel that almost every bone in his chest had been broken. However, before he could even open his mouth to scream, the remaining force behind the punch sent his entire body flying backward at an unbelievable speed.

SWOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!

The Puppet Master’s body shot through the air like a cannonball. He was moving so fast that the surrounding air was violently pushed aside, creating a powerful shockwave behind him. Within a fraction of a second, he had already travelled several hundred meters, but the force behind the punch was still pushing him backwards.

Finally, after being sent flying more than one thousand meters, the Puppet Master’s body began falling toward the ground. Unfortunately, the place where he was about to land was filled with Emperor Faction soldiers who were busy fighting against the Anti-Emperor Faction’s army.

The soldiers had no idea that something was approaching them from above. They were completely focused on fighting their enemies, and none of them had noticed the Puppet Master’s body flying toward their position at an incredible speed.

One of the soldiers had just raised his sword to attack an enemy when he suddenly heard a strange sound coming from above. He instinctively raised his head to see what was happening. However, before he could even understand what he was looking at, the Puppet Master’s body came crashing down directly onto the soldiers standing nearby.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

The impact was terrifying. The Puppet Master’s body struck several lower-order soldiers directly, crushing them beneath him. Because his body was still carrying an enormous amount of force from the punch, the soldiers who were struck had absolutely no chance of surviving.

The moment the Puppet Master’s body crashed into them, almost every bone in their bodies shattered under the tremendous force. Their bodies were crushed instantly, and they died before they could even understand what had happened.

However, the destruction did not stop there. The force of the impact spread outward, creating a powerful shockwave that struck the surrounding soldiers. Those who were standing closest to the impact were immediately sent flying, while several others lost their balance and crashed into their comrades.

Some soldiers were thrown several meters backwards, while others were knocked to the ground by the powerful shockwave. Even the soldiers who were standing farther away could feel the ground shaking beneath their feet.

At the same time, the ground where the Puppet Master’s body had landed began cracking before collapsing under the tremendous force. A large crater formed at the centre of the impact, while broken stones, dirt, and pieces of armour were thrown high into the air.

RUMBLE!!!!

A thick cloud of dust immediately rose from the crater, making it difficult for the nearby soldiers to see what had happened. Several soldiers who had been fighting only moments earlier stopped attacking and turned their attention toward the enormous cloud of dust.

”What the hell was that?!” One of the soldiers shouted while trying to maintain his balance.

”Something just fell from the sky! Several of our men were killed instantly!” Another soldier shouted in horror as he looked toward the crater.

Meanwhile, at the centre of the crater, the Puppet Master was lying on his back. His black robe had been torn apart, and blood was continuously flowing from his mouth. His entire chest had been badly crushed by the punch, and every single bone in his rib cage had been shattered.

Even breathing had become extremely difficult for him. Every time he tried to take a breath, terrible pain spread through his chest. His eyes were wide open, and his face was filled with pain and disbelief.

The Puppet Master had spent countless years researching and creating powerful puppets. He had used an enormous amount of rare materials and resources to create his two Beginner Sixth Order puppets, and he had always been extremely proud of them.

Yet those two powerful puppets had been completely destroyed in less than a second. Even more frightening was the fact that the person who had destroyed them had then struck him with a single punch and sent him flying more than one thousand meters.

The Puppet Master could not understand how someone could possess such terrifying physical strength. He was a powerful Sixth Order cultivator himself, yet he had not even been able to react to the attack, let alone defend himself against it.

’Who...?’ The Puppet Master thought while struggling to remain conscious.

’Who the hell attacked me? How can someone be this powerful?’

Meanwhile, back at the place where Lilith and Amelia had been fighting, the brilliant golden light slowly began fading. Both Saints were still struggling against the effects of the strange powders that had entered their bodies, but they had clearly witnessed what had just happened.

Neither Lilith nor Amelia had been able to follow the movements of the golden flash. Everything had happened far too quickly for them to understand. All they had seen was a golden light suddenly appearing from the sky before their two powerful opponents were completely destroyed.

Before they could even understand how the two puppets had been destroyed, the golden flash had already appeared in front of the Puppet Master. Then, in the next moment, the Puppet Master himself had disappeared from his position after being struck by a powerful punch.

Lilith slowly raised her head and looked toward the figure standing where the Puppet Master had been only moments earlier. Amelia also turned her attention toward the same person, and both women were completely shocked by what they had just witnessed.

After all, the two puppets that had given them so much trouble had been destroyed almost instantly. Even their master, a powerful Sixth Order cultivator, had been sent flying more than one thousand meters with a single punch.

And the most shocking part was that everything had happened so quickly that neither of them had even managed to see how the mysterious person had carried out those attacks.
