Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 1242: Chapter 1242:- Innate Life Origin Essence

In fact, he was barely paying attention to the soldiers who were dying around him. His eyes were constantly moving across the battlefield, searching for two specific people. Those two people were Lilith and Amelia.

Both women were known as Saints, and their backgrounds were extremely unusual. According to what the puppet master had learned, both women had spent one thousand years without having any physical contact with a man. Yet despite this, they had somehow given birth to their daughters, who later became known as the Goddess of Lust and the Goddess of Nature.

For most people, this was simply an incredible story. Some believed that the two women had received blessings from powerful beings, while others believed that their daughters had been born through some kind of miracle.

However, the puppet master had a completely different opinion. To him, the fact that Lilith and Amelia had given birth without any contact with a man suggested that their bodies possessed an extremely rare form of life energy.

In the cultivation world, blood essence was different from ordinary blood. While ordinary blood mainly carried nutrients and mana throughout the body, blood essence contained a small part of a cultivator’s life force, bloodline power, and the special energy connected to their existence.

For this reason, blood essence was often used to create powerful pills, strengthen bloodlines, and perform certain forbidden cultivation techniques. However, the puppet master believed that the blood essence of Lilith and Amelia was far more valuable than that of ordinary cultivators.

According to his research, their bodies might possess something known as Innate Life Origin Essence.

This was an extremely rare type of life energy that could exist inside certain special bloodlines or bodies. Unlike ordinary life force, Innate Life Origin Essence was believed to have the ability to support the creation of new life without following the normal rules of reproduction.

Of course, this was only his theory. He had never personally examined Lilith or Amelia, so he could not be completely certain. However, the fact that both women had given birth under such unusual conditions made him believe that his theory was correct.

And if he was right, their blood essence could become the final material he needed to complete his greatest research. For many years, the puppet master had been trying to create what he called the Ultimate Living Puppet.

Ordinary puppets had several major weaknesses. Even if they possessed powerful bodies and artificial mana cores, they still needed someone to control them. Without their master, most puppets could only follow simple commands, and they could not think or make decisions like living cultivators.

Furthermore, artificial mana cores had limits. Once their stored energy was exhausted, the puppet would become useless until its energy was restored.

The puppet master wanted to overcome these weaknesses. His goal was to create a puppet that possessed the strength and durability of an artificial body while also having the ability to think, learn, and grow stronger like a living cultivator.

He wanted his creation to possess its own life force, allowing it to repair its damaged body and recover its energy without depending entirely on its master. However, despite spending many years researching this subject, he had never managed to solve the most important problem.

He could create powerful bodies. He could create artificial mana cores. He could even preserve certain memories and combat skills from dead cultivators. But he could not create a true life origin inside a puppet.

No matter how many experiments he performed, his creations remained puppets. They could move, fight, and follow orders, but they could not truly live.

This was where Lilith and Amelia became important to his research. If their blood essence really contained Innate Life Origin Essence, he believed that he could use it to create a special Life Origin Formation inside his ultimate puppet.

Such a formation would act like an artificial source of life, allowing the puppet to maintain its own energy and possibly develop the ability to grow stronger without constantly depending on its master.

Furthermore, the puppet master believed that the two women’s blood essence might contain different types of life energy. Amelia, who was connected to the Goddess of Nature, might possess a powerful form of natural life energy that could help his puppet regenerate damaged parts of its body.

Meanwhile, Lilith, who was connected to the Goddess of Lust, might possess a special form of spiritual and bloodline energy that could help him create a stronger connection between the puppet’s artificial body and its soul.

If he could successfully combine these two types of energy, he believed that he might finally create a puppet that was much closer to a real living being.

And that was not all. Even their corpses would be extremely valuable to him. After all, a cultivator’s blood essence was not the only thing that contained their special life energy. Their bones, organs, and meridians could also contain traces of their bloodline power and life origin.

If the puppet master managed to obtain their corpses, he could study their bodies directly and possibly discover the source of their unusual abilities. He could even use their bones and meridians to create a special puppet body that was capable of holding much more life energy than an ordinary artificial body.

For this reason, he did not particularly care whether Lilith and Amelia were alive or dead when he captured them. Of course, obtaining them alive would be much better for his research. However, even if he ended up killing them during the battle, their corpses would still be extremely valuable.

”Hehehe! Just thinking about it makes me excited.” The puppet master muttered with a strange smile on his face.

He had been searching for these two women for a very long time. Almost six months ago, he had personally traveled to the Six Continents after hearing rumors about Lilith and Amelia. At first, he had believed that finding them would be easy, especially considering how famous their daughters had become.

However, things had turned out to be much more difficult than he expected. For almost six months, he had traveled from one place to another, gathering information about the two Saints. He had visited several kingdoms and empires, questioned merchants, and even paid large amounts of money to information organizations.

Yet despite all his efforts, he had failed to find a suitable opportunity to approach either woman. Eventually, he learned that both Lilith and Amelia had connections to Aditya, the Dragon Monarch, and that they might participate in the upcoming civil war of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

The moment he received this information, the puppet master immediately changed his plans. He returned to the Celestial Dragon Empire and used his strength as a Sixth Order cultivator to join the Emperor Faction’s army.

Naturally, the Emperor Faction welcomed him. After all, a powerful Sixth Order puppet master who could control two Beginner Sixth Order puppets was a valuable addition to their forces.

However, what the Emperor Faction did not know was that the puppet master had no interest in supporting Emperor Ren. He did not care who won the civil war or who eventually became the Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

He had joined this war for one reason only. And that was to capture Lilith and Amelia.

”Six months...” The puppet master muttered while slowly looking across the battlefield.

”I wasted almost six months searching for those two women. I travelled across the Six Continents, spent so much money gathering information, and still couldn’t find them.”

”But now, both of them have finally appeared in the same place. As long as I can obtain their blood essence, I might finally be able to complete my research.” A strange smile appeared on his face as he continued speaking.

At that moment, a powerful Mid Sixth Order cultivator from the Anti-Emperor Faction suddenly appeared nearby.

The cultivator had been fighting against several Emperor Faction soldiers when he noticed the two puppets killing his comrades. Seeing that the puppets were only at the Beginner Sixth Order, he immediately decided to destroy them before they could cause more damage.

”Two Beginner Sixth Order puppets? You think these things can stop me?” The cultivator shouted as he rushed toward the armored puppet with his sword.

However, the puppet master merely glanced at him before shaking his head.

”How annoying. Can’t you see that I’m busy looking for someone?” He muttered while raising his right hand.

The armored puppet immediately turned toward the approaching cultivator and raised both blades to defend itself.

CLANG!!!!

The Mid Sixth Order cultivator struck the puppet with tremendous force, pushing it several meters backward. Seeing that his attack had worked, he immediately followed up with another powerful strike.

However, what he failed to notice was that the second puppet had already moved behind him.

”Now.” The puppet master calmly said.

The moment he gave the command, the armoured puppet suddenly rushed forward and attacked the cultivator with both blades, forcing him to raise his sword to defend himself. At the same time, the second puppet silently approached him from behind.

The cultivator was completely focused on blocking the armoured puppet’s attacks. Although he could sense another presence nearby, he had assumed that the second puppet would not be able to threaten him seriously because of the difference in their strength. That mistake cost him his life.

PUCHI!!!!

The second puppet suddenly drove its sharp hand through the cultivator’s back, piercing straight through his chest. The Mid Sixth Order cultivator’s eyes widened in shock as he looked down at the bloody hand coming out of his chest.

Before he could react, the armoured puppet swung one of its blades toward his neck.

SLASH!!!!

His head was separated from his body, and his lifeless corpse fell to the ground. The entire exchange had lasted only a few seconds. Although the two puppets were individually weaker than the Mid Sixth Order cultivator, their teamwork and the puppet master’s control had allowed them to catch him off guard and kill him.

”Idiot. Did you really think that having a higher cultivation would automatically make you stronger than my puppets?” The puppet master muttered while looking at the dead cultivator.

He then moved his fingers again, ordering both puppets to return to their previous positions.

”Continue killing anyone who comes near me. And don’t let anyone disturb me unless they’re Sixth Order or above.” He ordered. The two puppets immediately followed his commands and resumed attacking the nearby Anti-Emperor Faction soldiers.

Meanwhile, the puppet master once again turned his attention toward the battlefield. After searching for several more moments, his eyes suddenly stopped moving.

In the distance, he noticed a beautiful woman standing among a large group of soldiers. Several enemy soldiers around her were suddenly turning against their own comrades, attacking the people they had been fighting alongside only moments earlier.

The puppet master’s eyes immediately lit up.

”Lilith...” He muttered as a wide smile appeared on his face.

He had spent months gathering information about her, so he immediately recognised her appearance and the charm abilities she was using. However, instead of rushing toward her, he quickly began searching the surrounding area for his second target.

It did not take him long to find Amelia. Not far from Lilith’s position, thick roots were coming out of the ground and attacking the Emperor Faction’s soldiers. The roots moved through the battlefield like enormous snakes, disappearing beneath the ground before suddenly appearing again to pierce through their targets.

Seeing this, the puppet master could no longer hide his excitement.

”Hehehe! Finally found those two!” He said while slowly licking his lips.

His eyes moved between Lilith and Amelia, and the smile on his face continued growing.

”After searching for six whole months, I finally found both of you together. Who would have thought that joining this war would turn out to be the best decision I have made in years?”

The puppet master slowly raised his right hand, causing the faint mana threads around his fingers to become more visible.

”Saint Lilith and Saint Amelia...”

”Your blood essence is going to help me create something that this world has never seen before.” He whispered with an excited expression.

He then looked toward his two puppets, which were still killing enemy soldiers nearby.

”Come back. I’ve finally found what I came here for.” He ordered. The moment they heard his command, both puppets immediately stopped attacking and returned to his side. The puppet master looked at his two creations before turning his attention back toward Lilith and Amelia.

”These two are nothing compared to what I’m going to create with your blood.”

”Once I complete my Ultimate Living Puppet, I won’t need to rely on these imperfect creations anymore.”

Meanwhile, Lilith was still controlling several enemy soldiers when she suddenly felt someone staring at her. She turned her head and noticed a strange man standing in the distance with two powerful puppets beside him.

At first, she did not think much of him. However, when she noticed the way he was staring at her, her expression slowly became serious.

There was something strange about the man’s smile. He was not looking at her like an ordinary enemy who wanted to kill her. Instead, he was staring at her with the same excitement that a researcher might show after finally finding something he had been searching for.

Lilith immediately felt uncomfortable.

’What’s wrong with that man?’ She thought while narrowing her eyes.

At the same time, Amelia also noticed the puppet master. Although she was standing some distance away, she could sense the powerful mana coming from the two puppets beside him.

Realising that the man was most likely a Sixth Order cultivator, Amelia slowly turned her attention toward him.

The puppet master noticed that both women were now looking in his direction. Instead of becoming worried, he smiled even more widely.

”Wonderful! Both of you have finally noticed me.” He said before taking a step forward.

Lilith looked toward Amelia, who was standing a short distance away.

”Amelia, I think we have a troublesome enemy coming toward us.” Lilith said.

Amelia glanced at the two puppets standing beside the man before nodding. ”I can see that. Those two puppets are both at the Beginner Sixth Order, and their master is also a Sixth Order cultivator.” Amelia replied.

Lilith looked at the puppet master again before a small smile appeared on her face.

”Then I suppose we should deal with him together.” Amelia did not disagree.

”Fine. Let’s see what he wants.”
