Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Chapter 107: 107 His purpose (1)_1

I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt a twinge of guilt!

I have no improper thoughts about Mr. Huo, and he probably doesn’t have any other ideas about me, right?

There must be some conflict between Mr. Huo and Gu Jizhou, and his overstepping actions towards me must be because of Gu Jizhou, right?

And I, I’m just a pawn!

But I don’t want to be a pawn used by others!

......

I don’t know how much time has passed, when suddenly I felt the wind through the car window stinging my face. I turned my head and saw the scenery outside the window become a blur, the car was going so fast!

Che Huan looked toward Gu Jizhou and said, ”I don’t want to die in a car with you!”

Gu Jizhou glanced at Che Huan in the rearview mirror. She had been so lost in thought, was she thinking about Huo Jinnan?

Seeing that Che Huan’s face was very pale and her hair was disheveled by the wind, he gradually slowed down the car.

Che Huan closed the car window and looked outside, noticing that the passing scenery was becoming more isolated, and a growing unease filled her heart. She turned to look at Gu Jizhou, ”Where are you taking me?”

Gu Jizhou did not speak, just continued driving.

Che Huan frowned involuntarily, ”Gu Jizhou, stop the car, I want to get out!”

Gu Jizhou sat in the driver’s seat, silent, and pressed a button to lock the car doors.

Che Huan tugged at the car door a few times, but it wouldn’t budge!

She looked toward Gu Jizhou, ”Where exactly are you taking me?”

”Where we’re going is none of your concern. Just sign when the time comes, that’s what you wanted, isn’t it?” Gu Jizhou turned back to glance at Che Huan, his gaze piercing like an arrow.

Che Huan stared at Gu Jizhou, struggling to breathe, and after a long time, she managed to ask, ”Will you keep your word?”

Gu Jizhou remained silent, quietly driving from the driver’s seat.

Che Huan sat there, feeling suffocated.

Half an hour later, the car stopped at the entrance of the Huo Mansion.

Gu Jizhou got out of the car and walked over to the passenger’s side, yanking the car door open.

Che Huan glanced at the car next to hers, and her gaze fixed upon it, a black Bentley, Mr. Huo’s car!

In an instant, her breath became erratic.

Why would Mr. Huo’s car be here?

Remembering the questions he had asked in the car, Che Huan quickly realized and vaguely guessed what this place was, looking at Gu Jizhou as if she also guessed his purpose for bringing her here today. A wave of unease surged in her heart, ”Where is this?”

Gu Jizhou sneered darkly, ”You wanted a divorce, right? In our family, a divorce requires my great-grandfather’s approval, so that’s why I brought you here.”

It was indeed the Huo Family!

Che Huan bit her lip, looking at Gu Jizhou. Entering this door, she would inevitably meet Gu Jizhou’s uncle, Huo Jinnan!

Had Gu Jizhou planned this all along?

She didn’t know what he was planning to do today, but since Mr. Huo had saved her uncle, she didn’t want to drag him into her divorce case with Gu Jizhou, nor did she want to become a pawn in a wealthy family’s secret battles.

After taking a deep breath, Che Huan turned and walked away.

Gu Jizhou grabbed her wrist tightly, his voice carrying a strange chill, ”Take the opportunity to meet my uncle. He’s a man who is very fascinating to women.”

Che Huan turned around and gave Gu Jizhou a mockingly sweet smile, ”You’re not suggesting that after the divorce, you plan to introduce your uncle to me? Sorry, I’m not interested in people or things related to you!”

Gu Jizhou stared at Che Huan with a sarcastic curl of his lips, ”Are you really not interested in Mr. Huo?”

Che Huan’s breath tensed up, pretending not to understand anything, ”When we got married, there was no need for your great-grandfather’s approval, but now we need it for a divorce?”

She was desperate to shake off Gu Jizhou.
