Armipotent

Chapter 1834  Immortal?

Thomas Lysvand discovered why the aloof Leon Francis wanted to recruit this administrator into their rank. He could not imagine how strong Tang Shaoyang would be when merged with the void. This administrator might be stronger than the Genesis Emperor after the transformation, and their plan to kill God would go smoother with an additional force like Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyang let out a chuckle, ”Thatʼs the last thing I expect to hear from you, but thanks for the offer. I donʼt plan to become something like you.” He scanned Thomas Lysvand from top to bottom.

Thomas Lysvand still maintained his human appearance, much better than the people he met in the previous special mission. But those eyes, the unnatural dark skin, kept releasing the black ooze from his skin, and those sharp and pointy teeth were repulsive to look at. On top of that, there was no reason for him to fight whoever was behind the System.

”Itʼs much better to be someone like me than becoming a toy! Do you know that you are just toys to them? An entertainment, a clown, or maybe just sacrifices for them to enjoy. This is just a game for them while we fight with our lives at stake, and we are fighting in this fake world they make for their entertainment because they are bored! Arenʼt you angry that your life is a mere entertainment, pawn to them!? Join me, kill those bastards, and we will become the new GOD!”

Thomas Lysvand riled up when he heard Tang Shaoyangʼs refusal. The thought that he was just a toy in Godʼs eyes stirred him up.

”I donʼt care if itʼs a game or entertainment or even if I am just a toy to them as long as I have control of my own decisions, my life, and my body. As long as they donʼt harm me or my family or my empire, then I have no reason to fight them.”

Tang Shaoyang shrugged. If he was being controlled and forced to make a decision that he did not want to, then he would also revolt and fight back. But he did not feel like he was being controlled, and he was fine because his life journey was entertainment for God.

”I see…” Thomas Lysvand calmed down and muttered in a low voice. ”Then I have to get rid of you. You are an obstacle for us. I will have to kill you, your family, and your empire… No, I changed my mind.

”I will not kill you today. I will destroy your empire, I will kill your family in front of you. Thatʼs my judgment for you. I donʼt mind taking the risk as long as I can see the despair in your face.” Thomas Lysvand grinned maniacally as his eight eyes enlarged in excitement, ”Or for the better, I will transform your whole family into a calamity or merge them with the void. I want to see your face when it happens!”

”I donʼt have the desire or agenda to fight the Void Cult. I am just doing my work as an administrator. I donʼt plan to seek out the Void Cult to eradicate you all, but you change my mind. I should get rid of anything that is a threat to my family, and Void Cult is on my list now.”

Tang Shaoyang used his everything, but he had not gotten all out yet. He fought on his own instead of ganging the emperor with his spirits. He wanted to feel the level of power of an emperor to measure how strong the other two emperors were. From the short fight with Thomas Lysvand, it felt like he countered Thomas Lysvandʼs power. This domain might be dangerous for others, but not for him. He tried to force Thomas Lysvand to go all out with Avyn, Zara, and Vandir were ready to help him out anytime.

Thomas Lysvand grinned ear to ear, ”I have found your weakness. Letʼs meet again in your world, thatʼs the time when I turn all your family into hideous void creatures. Your wife and your children, your people!”

The emperor canceled his domain as he changed his mind. He had set a new goal for himself, crushing Tang Shaoyang. His new goal would start with Tang Shaoyangʼs family, and he was not worried that Tang Shaoyang would become even more powerful because he was confident that if the three emperors worked together, they would kill Tang Shaoyang no matter how strong Tang Shaoyang was.

The reason he canceled his domain was to make a portal back to the Void Realm. He did not plan to continue the fight as he was driven by a different motivation right now. A portal formed to his right, and he was about to say his farewell but his portal crumbled.

Thomas furrowed his brow and tried to make a second portal, but his second attempt ended with the same result. Before even the portal got into his size, it crumbled. His third and fourth attempts ended in the same way, and when he tried his fifth attempt, he could not even make a portal anymore. As if there was something that prevented him from making a portal.

”Itʼs quite disappointing that an emperor that is feared by many tries to run away.”

Thomas looked up and found the fallen angel. He quickly realized it was the fallen angel who disturbed his portal. His figure blurred into shadow and tried to kill the fallen angel in a surprise attack, but then the woman in dragon transformation appeared between him and the fallen angel.

He was still two meters away from the woman, but his swords were frozen, and they spread out to his hand. When he sensed the cold, his eyes widened in shock. He had no choice but to release his sword and flew backward.

Thomas landed on the ground on his feet, but he was greeted by a fist that was covered in golden crimson fire. The fist hit his face, sending him flying. His nose broke, and he could hear his skull crack, but it was nothing serious for someone like him. The problem was that his head was dizzy for a moment as he failed to stop the impact in time.

The moment his head cleared up, he saw Tang Shaoyang before his face. Tang Shaoyang caught his head with both his hands in mid-air, and he could feel the destructive force.

Heavenly Crushing Grasp!

ARRGGGHHHH!

Thomas was in pain as he realized that Tang Shaoyang attempted to destroy his head. He roared and kicked Tang Shaoyang in the belly with all his force. His kick was strong, but the grasp on his head was even stronger. He ended up snapping his neck, his body flung backward, and Tang Shaoyang was still holding his head. The head popped out as the blood and juices flew all over.

Tang Shaoyang looked at the body because he did not hear a killing notification, meaning Thomas was still alive. Thomasʼ headless body was still standing, and in the following, another head popped out. Getting his head ripped apart and crushed did not kill Thomas, it meant they used a specific method to kill Thomas, and he wanted to preserve the body for the sacrifice.

”Do you know how to kill that thing without destroying the body?” Tang Shaoyang asked Vandir. The necromancer might have a way to kill something like Thomas.

”You canʼt kill me! I am immortal! I am a God!” Thomas bellowed as he sent a new command to his army of void creatures. The command was simple, overwhelm Tang Shaoyang while he got rid of the fallen angel.

The Void Creatures who had been ignoring Tang Shaoyang, swarmed toward him. Even the void creatures in front of the frontier turned around, rushing back.

Of course, Tang Shaoyang also used his spirit to block the void creatures. Khaya brought Kiara, Nandra, Salia, Castor, and Anne to help as well. Avyn stayed next to Zara because she knew Thomas would go for Zara who blocked the portal.

”I donʼt know. I havenʼt really experimented with a void creature before. Letʼs just get rid of the body instead of taking the risk.” Vandir shook his head.

If not for the poison from the Void Energy, he might try it. However, it was not worth the effort to experiment with the void creature when he had to get rid of the void energy first.

Amidst the chaos, one spirit made his way toward Tang Shaoyang. Karoen the Void Knight approached Tang Shaoyang and said. ”You canʼt kill him. You must destroy his real body to kill him!”

Tang Shaoyang and Vandir turned toward Karoen, surprised at how Karoen knew how to kill Thomas Lysvand. He furrowed his brow when he remembered Karoenʼs title, Void Knight. The title did not change even after Karoen agreed to advance to High Archaic Spirit.

”Yes, I am a native of the Void Realm, and I know the Void Cult. In fact, it was them who killed me, destroyed my kingdom, and killed the king whom I served.”
