Armed Train in the Apocalypse

Chapter 102: Chapter 99: The Survivors

”Ha, not giving me face.”

Su Huan put down the salted duck egg in his other hand, glancing nonchalantly at Yu Yue behind the cabinet. Female debt paid by the mother, right?

Yu Yue flinched under his gaze, then thought, well, he has already bullied me, what more do I have to lose?

It’s just the same old tricks over and over again.

She’s already immune to all poisons!

Thinking like this, Little Aunt quickly calmed down, lowered her eyelids, deliberately avoiding his gaze.

”Maybe they forgot, let’s check the content. If there’s no problem, we’ll start preparing in this direction.”

Yu Jing urged from the side, eyes filled with excitement.

Like an innovator waiting for others to recognize her great breakthrough.

Seeing the mother and daughter, Su Huan was amused internally.

Alright, alright.

Too busy dealing with He Jie, forgot to deal with you two.

Su Huan thought maliciously as he opened the plan in his hand.

He was about to criticize, but upon seeing the words, couldn’t help but fall into deep thought.

The first alteration is still armor-based, but this time the direction is lightweight and expanded capacity.

Using Tier One Light Steel Plate to make new armor; the same thickness, but half the weight of the original.

Not sure if the ammo depot inspired her, she intends to add a kind of soft glass inside the new armor, like sandwich cookies. When a penetrating bullet drills through the outer armor, the heat will soften the glass, and the bullet, like diving into a pool, will quickly lose its energy and become incapable of penetrating the inner armor.

Then some glass flows out from the holes, solidifies when it cools, and fills them.

Hmm...

Have to say, this is a very feasible idea.

After this series of operations, the bulletproof capabilities of the entire train improve significantly, but the weight is halved, reducing the burden of the over forty-car armored train by thousands of tons.

Indirectly increasing load and power.

Yu Jing hasn’t given up on her two-level carriages, only this time with a more complete plan.

First, expand the carriage in a small range, such as her Carriage No. 10.

Planning to expand upwards into a second level like a sightseeing carriage, then build corridor bridges between these expanded carriages.

Forming a rooftop passage, to avoid having to drill back inside of the carriage during emergencies.

Have to say, this design also perfectly hit Su Huan’s heart.

He hadn’t gone to the rear carriages before mainly because he didn’t trust the other passengers, avoiding being surrounded during weaker periods.

Only when he had reliable companions would he occasionally go back.

Now his range of activity is generally within the first 18 cars.

With this two-level corridor bridge, whether transferring to the front or rear of the train for shunting or heading to the garage, the speed is significantly faster.

Plus, everyone’s everyday activity area is greater.

Next is about some functionality additions, like full-train monitoring, unified train power control, large 3D printers, oxygen generators, bullet production lines, body balance systems, medical carriages, air fire support, fully enclosed carriages, energy storage weapons, maglev, full-car biological power generation film, mecha modification carriages...

”Wait—”

Su Huan frowned, feeling like he missed something.

He looked again.

Ah, yes.

The direction suddenly went off track.

Clearly, it started seriously, listing specific modification schemes, design drawings, materials, construction timeline forecasts, then started becoming wild and abstract.

Su Huan pointed at the list with terms like aerial fire support, mechas, like war-mad fantasies open wide, looking skeptically at Yu Jing, ”Isn’t this a bit too... crazy?”

Hearing this, those around busy eating curiously looked over.

They were curious about what kind of plan could make someone as obviously abnormal as Su Huan find it crazy.

Yu Jing wore a black tube top, covered by a sturdy denim jacket, arms crossed, with a subtle stern calm turning into a scorching aggression.

”Last night, while rushing the drawings, it suddenly popped into my mind. You know that desire, I didn’t want such a great idea to be stuck in my head for too long, so I wrote it all down at once. Although we can’t complete it at this stage, I still wanted to show it to you, hoping you’d remember them and steer the armored train in this direction...”

Yu Jing’s state was like a man discussing national affairs, with the self-assurance that even a passing dog would have to be hard-controlled to stop and listen for a bit.

’Changed, changed, Sister Jing’s demeanor changed again.’

Xiaoba chewed on her spoon, eyes wandering curiously between Su Huan and Yu Jing.

Train matters were always decided by Su’s word.

Unexpectedly, Sister Jing became the first to challenge the authority of the train captain.

Su Huan gazed into Yu Jing’s eyes for a long time without speaking, not out of anger. She genuinely loved the armored train plan and was a kindred spirit to some extent, so he wouldn’t be upset by this level of discussion.

He simply felt that Yu Jing’s gaze was very strange, as if someone was looking at himself through her eyes.

The gaze mixed with Yu Jing’s current emotions made it even more complex.

The most obvious was that kind of fanaticism.

He could even accept her excited translated accent, but this gaze truly made him instinctively feel odd.
