Alchemy Master

Chapter 228, The Auction

“Could there be a Fire Attribute Martial Artist in the Feather Lake Dynasty?” Qin Yichen muttered. Besides being effective for Alchemy Masters, Earth Flame Green Fruit was also the  main ingredient for another Pill. Though, that Pill was only effective for Fire Attribute Martial Artists.

As he thought about Fire Attribute Martial Artists, as if remembering something, Qin Yichen’s eyes suddenly dimmed, a trace of sorrowful melancholy flashing through their depths.

Seeing Qin Yichen’s suddenly downcast expression, Chen Feng thought he was too disappointed and immediately began wracking his brains for another solution.

Suddenly, Chen Feng slapped his forehead and exclaimed, “Grandmaster Qin, there might be a place that has Earth Flame Green Fruits!”

Hearing Chen Feng’s shout, Qin Yichen’s thoughts finally returned from some sealed memory. He took a deep breath, shook his head, and said, “Go collect them for me. If you find some, that’s great; if not, it’s fine.”

“Grandmaster Qin, aren’t you going yourself?” Chen Feng asked in surprise. “It will be at the auction held by the Golden Treasure Pavilion in our Feather Lake Dynasty. They only hold an auction once before each Alchemy World Summit…”

“Golden Treasure Pavilion?” Hearing these three words, interest appeared in Qin Yichen’s eyes.

The Golden Treasure Pavilion was not a Force from the Northern Region; even their auction house in the Thousand Mist Capital was not their main headquarters. It was at most a branch.

Golden Treasure Pavilion had branches in some powerful Empires but never participated in local power struggles. Of course, no power dared to set their sights on the Golden Treasure Pavilion.

The Golden Treasure Pavilion was a true behemoth. It was said that behind it stood a terrifyingly powerful figure – even the people of the Thousand Mist Empire had to show respect.

“Interesting. When does the auction start?” Qin Yichen asked.

“Three days from now.”

…

Three days later.

Qin Yichen, who had wanted to bring Zhao Ritian and Wang Daoyun along, found himself ‘abandoned.’

Zhao Ritian did not even open his door; clearly, he would not be going out until the day before the summit.

As for Wang Daoyun, his door was open but no one was there. According to Chen Feng, he had left several days ago.

This made Qin Yichen sigh – someone who seemed so steady, unexpectedly had gone off somewhere to enjoy himself.

Walking through the Feather Lake Dynasty’s Royal City, looking at the massive auction hall at the end of the bustling street, Qin Yichen could not help but exclaim in amazement.

Worthy of being the Golden Treasure Pavilion’s auction hall – its scale probably even overshadowed the Royal Palace.

At the entrance of the auction hall, over ten stone-faced men in black combat attire wore sharp weapons at their waists. Their eagle-like sharp gazes constantly swept over the flowing crowds. Judging from the aura seeping from these men’s bodies, they were all Peak Martial Grandmasters.

Qin Yichen entered the auction hall with Chen Feng. Upon seeing Chen Feng, attendants hurriedly came forward to lead the way, while Qin Yichen leisurely followed behind.

The attendant led them through the massive venue for nearly ten minutes, finally stopping at a place close to the auction platform. It was labelled ‘VIP room’ and the attendant smiled slightly at Chen Feng and Qin Yichen before bowing and withdrawing.

Entering the spacious VIP room, several plush chairs were arranged inside. Qin Yichen sat down, and the soft sensation almost made him want to curl his whole body into it. Looking back at the ordinary chairs below, he felt an inexplicable sense of great satisfaction.

“Hehe, Grandmaster Qin, how does it feel? I’m not bragging, but in the Feather Lake Dynasty’s Golden Treasure Pavilion, those who qualify for VIP rooms can be counted on one hand,” Chen Feng proudly told Qin Yichen, though he knew he only got this qualification through Chen Liuzhi’s name. As for Qin Yichen, with just a slight display of his talent, getting this qualification would not be difficult.

“Hmm… not bad.” Qin Yichen nodded and closed his eyes to rest.

While his eyes were closed, sounds came from several VIP rooms not far from theirs, clearly others were entering.

However, due to excellent soundproofing, those sounds did not disturb others.

If one could hear the conversations in each VIP room, they would discover a common point – all talks involved some mysterious item, which seemed to be this auction’s final piece.

After Qin Yichen had been resting for nearly half an hour, a clear bell sound gradually rang through the venue. Hearing this bell, Qin Yichen came out of his cultivating state.

After opening the VIP room’s window facing the auction platform, noisy sounds immediately rushed in like demonic music, making Qin Yichen shake his head vigorously before calming down.

“Finally starting…” Looking at the massive venue that was almost bursting with people, Qin Yichen muttered softly, his dark eyes showing slight anticipation.

Clear bell sounds gradually echoed through the auction hall, and as they rang, the extremely noisy sounds in the venue gradually decreased. Countless gazes turned toward the auction platform, eyes burning hot.

Soon after, a woman wearing a red formal dress walked onto the auction platform with graceful steps.

Her voluptuous figure, tightly wrapped in the red dress, made some people’s gazes burn with heat.

The woman was born beautiful, and her sweet voice instantly made the atmosphere even hotter.

Seeing the atmosphere heating up, Qin Yichen could not help but secretly praise her.

Worthy of being a Golden Treasure Pavilion auctioneer – with just a few words, she could stir up the atmosphere. Probably anything auctioned through her hands, even without much practical value, would be bought as treasure by those below.

Seeing the heated scene, the woman showed slight pride, clearly confident in her appearance.

However, Qin Yichen was not very interested in her. He was surrounded by beauties – this woman in formal dress was far inferior to Bian Lingzhu.

Bian Lingzhu was truly a natural enchantress; every smile, every movement could move people’s hearts. This woman before them was obviously too low in comparison.

However, Chen Feng beside him was breathing heavily, and under her coquettish voice, he bought several things with hardly any use, making Qin Yichen shake his head.

[So inexperienced.]
