Wizard: Scamming a Demon God

Chapter 347: Chapter 253: The Witch’s Juice... Is Very Good

Meanwhile, just as a dejected Isaac was returning to his territory, the Wizards of the Mechanical God Sect were holding an emergency meeting about him—a meeting attended by their Tier Five and Tier Four Mages.

The meeting’s agenda was simple: how to deal with Isaac!

Although he was just a humble Tier Three Mage, the threat he had displayed so far was far greater than that of a typical Tier Four Mage!

Especially to the Wizards of the Mechanical God Sect, he was like their goddamn natural enemy!

Of course, if that were the only issue, it would be fine. The worst-case solution was simply to kill him. If a Tier Three couldn’t do it, couldn’t a Tier Four, or even a Tier Five?

As the saying goes, one can be a thief for a thousand days, but no one can guard against one for a thousand days. Even if the Flesh Sect had experts protecting their prized prodigy, could they do so around the clock?

What High-tier Mage had that kind of free time?

Therefore, to a massive Wizard Organization, unless a genius became a complete recluse, there was no such thing as an unkillable one.

It was just that such methods were rarely employed.

Such an act of the strong preying on the weak was considered a severe and pointless form of internal attrition. In a Wizarding World that was currently striving for mutual development, it would easily provoke public outrage.

Of course, when a Sect’s core interests were at stake, public outrage meant little.

It was just...

Isaac was different...

The guy wasn’t just a prodigy; he was also a Mad Witch!

A Mad Witch who had plundered many Outer Gods!

As mentioned before, Mad Witches were detested and ostracized by nearly every power. Once discovered, they were immediately exiled.

Yes, exiled, not hunted down and exterminated.

This wasn’t due to some mysterious rule passed down through Mad Witch traditions, but rather due to certain characteristics of Mad Witches themselves... characteristics as foul as a latrine or a pile of dog shit.

The power of Outer Gods was not so easily taken. Although the rituals they used ensured that any Evil God Power falling into a Mad Witch’s hands came completely under their control, to the point that even the original owner couldn’t interfere in the slightest...

But!

The sheer standing of the Outer Gods was undeniable. Only after a Mad Witch broke through to Tier Six and formally integrated all their powers would the drawbacks of the power taken from these Outer Gods be completely eliminated!

But the most infuriating part was that, before reaching that stage, this power from the Outer Gods had no negative effects on the Mad Witch. On the contrary, it served as a protective talisman!

Because if a Mad Witch died before reaching Tier Six, the power they held from the Outer Gods would be unleashed from all restraints. It would not only wantonly destroy and corrode everything in the vicinity, but it would even tear through the Real World’s protective barrier and broadcast its coordinates to all Outer Gods!

Compared to the former consequence, the latter was what the various powers found most unacceptable.

Because those bastards, the Outer Gods, were typically insidious. The kind that would face you head-on were few and far between. Faced with such a prime opportunity to invade, They would merely feign a frontal assault while secretly infiltrating the Real World to prepare for even greater destruction!

Thus, every Mad Witch was a ticking dirty bomb with disastrous consequences!

Killing them was out of the question. They could only be exiled or imprisoned.

Logically, a group that posed such a colossal risk should not be allowed to exist. But for certain reasons, not only was it impossible to prevent Mad Witches from appearing, but sometimes, their very existence had to be guaranteed.

That was why this world even possessed a fundamental mechanism capable of sealing away a dying Mad Witch to prevent their death.

But that was a story for another time.

In short, for the Mechanical God Sect, Isaac was an immense headache. They couldn’t kill him, and for the Flesh Sect, as long as he wasn’t completely and utterly dead, saving him would require very little effort.

So, despite being an emergency meeting, it had now been underway for ten minutes, yet not a single person had spoken.

Because they truly had no idea what to do...

But the stalemate couldn’t last forever. Finally, a Tier Four Witch hesitantly raised her hand and suggested cautiously, ”What if... I deal with him? I won’t kill him, but I’ll keep him contained and prevent him from causing greater destruction on the battlefield.”

Upon hearing this, everyone turned to look at her in astonishment, their gazes holding a hint of admiration. After all, not everyone had the courage to stand before a shit-stained mop!

After their initial surprise, however, the attendees frowned slightly.

First, they had to admit that it was indeed a viable solution. It would prevent Isaac’s death while also stopping him from wreaking havoc on the battlefield. The only issue was that it would require sacrificing a Tier Four combatant, putting them at a disadvantage in the larger conflict. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

But that was manageable. What truly gave them a headache was another point—what if she were to be infected?

It had to be understood that although the Wizards of the Mechanical God Sect revered Mechanical Bodies and were enthusiastic about modifying their own forms, they were still, at their core, Legendary Mages. In essence, they were the same as Mad Witches, and could easily be infected, assimilated, and turned into one!

In this world, High Level Knowledge, especially Extraordinary Knowledge, carried power in and of itself. The Knowledge of the Outer Gods was particularly potent, and that power was both immense and evil!

But in the end, the group merely frowned and did not reject the proposal.

They simply couldn’t think of any other way to contain Isaac. Ultimately, all eyes turned to the few Tier Five Mages leading the meeting.

One of the Tier Five Mages contemplated for a moment. A male wizard in white robes gently tapped his own chest. His torso instantly transformed into a complex array of machinery that slowly parted, and a blue chip flew out, hovering before the Witch.

”This is the Wisdom Source III, which I created from a Divine Fragment of the Master of the Stars. Install it. It can help you resist any mental contamination below Tier Six. As long as you don’t proactively study the ’Source’ that boy obtained from the Outer Gods, you shouldn’t have any problems.”

As the wizard spoke, everyone let out a collective sigh of relief. They smiled and nodded encouragingly at the Witch.

The Witch nodded and put the chip away, planning to install it after the meeting. It was, after all, made from the Divine Fragment of a Tier Six Deity; it wasn’t some simple plug-and-play device.

With the matter of Isaac settled, the group moved on to discuss other topics. It wasn’t easy for so many High-level Mages to take time out of their schedules to gather, so of course they wouldn’t limit the discussion to a single issue.

...

Meanwhile, Isaac, who for the first time had a clear picture of the social life of a Mad Witch, returned to his Wizard Tower feeling disheartened. He stood alone at the very top, gazing down at the bustling figures below.

”Why are you back so early?” Lorna’s form materialized behind Isaac. She walked up to him, asking curiously as she handed him a glass of juice. ”Want a taste? It’s a Magic Beverage I just learned to make!”

”What made you suddenly want to learn Magic Cuisine?” Isaac asked, taking the juice.

”Just... felt like it, I guess? Hehe~ How is it?”

Isaac took a small sip. He stared blankly for a moment at Lorna’s expectant face, then glanced down at Smith and the Servant Demons bustling about in the territory below. He smiled. ”It’s delicious!”
