Chapter 2031: Chapter 2032: Mushrooms on the Island

Angel was a little surprised to see that such elemental creatures would emerge from the Magma Lake?

It’s known that while elemental creatures aren’t exactly rare, they’re not abundant either. Typically, the right conditions are needed for them to be born.

If there were a place that continuously produced elemental creatures, even if only embryos, Wizards would likely flock there. After all, nurturing embryos is not easy, but there are many ways to manipulate the source to produce the young of elemental creatures from the Magma Lake.

Angel released the grip of the Hand of Magic.

Perhaps sensing the elemental energy on Angel, the Flame Butterfly did not leave immediately.

Angel reached out with a finger and teased the Flame Butterfly, whose fiery wings were fluttering. He had to admit, the Flame Butterfly was exceptionally beautiful, enough to move even Angel, who had a high standard for aesthetics. Unfortunately, its foundations were too weak, which was a significant problem. Angel could accept cultivating elemental creatures from scratch, but if it started from a negative, then forget it.

Moreover, when it came to cultivating elemental creatures, Angel indeed had some ideas. There was a place he considered a reservation in his heart, where elemental creatures should exist. Once he has finished his period of introspection, he plans to take a look there, but for now, there’s no rush.

With these thoughts, Angel gently touched the Flame Butterfly’s antennae. With a push of power, the Flame Butterfly was nudged aside.

The Flame Butterfly did not fly back towards Angel but instead flew outward.

However, there were too many mushrooms that coveted it. Previously, they hadn’t attacked it because of Angel, but once it left Angel’s side, the mushrooms quickly revealed their true nature.

Almost all the mushrooms near Angel exerted all their strength to attack the Flame Butterfly.

”It was touched by Lady Shava, I must have it!”

”It’s tainted with Lady Shava’s aura; even if I don’t eat it, I need to nurture it inside me.”

Angel had just logged onto the forum to hear what the mushrooms were saying, only to be driven away by this madness and distortion. Better to withdraw his spiritual power...

Angel no longer paid attention to the emotional exchanges between the mushrooms and instead turned his gaze back to the Magma Lake.

The Magma Lake continued to surge with fiery patterns, most of which dissipated into tiny sparks, with a few transforming into fire elemental creatures, which were then devoured by the mushrooms.

Angel now understood why the mushrooms gathered here; they seemed to want to eat these fire elemental creatures.

Putting aside the fire elemental creatures for now, Angel was pondering their origin.

From the previous conversations among the mushrooms, it was clear they hated the ”filthy creatures,” but from their words, one could sense that the ”filthy creatures” brought them immense benefits. Now the truth of those benefits has surfaced, and it’s these fire elemental creatures.

But how did the ”filthy creatures” connect with the fire elemental creatures?

Moreover, where exactly are the ”filthy creatures”?

Angel’s gaze shifted to the northern direction of the expansive Magma Lake. Because the lake frequently emitted smoke, it was difficult to see the far-off details with the naked eye, but Angel was fixated on this direction.

He recalled clearly that each fire elemental creature was condensed into a physical form under the influence of mysterious fire winds. These mysterious fire winds were blowing from the north.

”Perhaps, I should go over and take a look?”

Angel thought and acted accordingly. With a gentle tap on the reddened ground, he generated a ripple and flew directly into the air.

As he ascended, three lustrous little mushrooms on the ground made every effort to jump up, but being unable to fly, they could only gaze longingly at Angel. Finally, they drooped their caps, looking abandoned.

Angel couldn’t possibly leave them behind; with a slight point of his finger, they began to float.

Ultimately, the three little ones chose to take root at the heel of Angel’s shoes, resembling a kind of mushroom ornamentation. This added a whimsical fairytale-like absurdity to what were otherwise modest Flying Boots.

Assured that they wouldn’t fall off, Angel turned his attention away from them. Gazing into the distance, a flame shield enveloped him, the Night Flight flickered with a ghostly glow, and Angel rapidly sped across the sky over the Magma Lake.

Within less than half a minute, Angel arrived at the very center of the Magma Lake. It was here that he witnessed an unbelievable sight.

Just tens of meters below his feet in the center of the Magma Lake was an Island about thirty meters in diameter.

The entire Island was composed of crimson crystals, and standing at a vantage point, Angel could clearly discern that these crystals were Fire Elemental Ore, able to withstand the magma, their energy exceptionally stable.

Solely the value of this Island itself was estimated to exceed a hundred thousand Magic Crystals.

However, the most crucial aspect of the Island was not the Fire Elemental Ore but a huge Mushroom in its center.

The extraordinary sight Angel observed emanated from this Mushroom.

The Mushroom was continually compressing and expanding. With each compression, terrifying energy would gather, and at the moment of expansion, this energy began to release outward, forming streams of fire wind from its pores.

The pores resembled chimneys affixed to the Mushroom, with a deluge of fire wind spreading in all directions.

These fire winds, without a doubt, are the medium for the birth of elemental creatures. Angel clearly saw a Flame Snail not far away transform from a flame pattern into a physical entity within the fire wind.

Angel refrained from delving deeply into what these fire winds comprised. His attention was now more focused on the Mushroom situated at the Island center in the Magma Lake.

This Mushroom, like the ones in the outer mushroom forest, was of the fire type, its smooth cap covered in deep red Little Spotty, yet its form differed from the outer mushrooms.

The mushrooms in the outer forest were slender, their stems nearly perfectly straight, resembling the trunk of a large tree, upright and robust. The caps often had ridges and angles, with some appearing rather menacing.

But this Mushroom was different. Although still tall, approximately ten meters high, its stem was neither slender nor straight. Instead, it was rather bulbous, imparting a sense of roundness.

The cap too was smooth and harmonious, with no harsh curves, exuding an elegant streamline arc.

Angel took note of the Mushroom’s shape because it did not resemble the native mushrooms of the area; instead, it looked a bit like...

Angel lowered his head, gazing at the trio of small beings huddled together on his shoe heel.

Yes, this Mushroom closely resembled Miying.

To be precise, it resembled the mature form of Miying.
