Chapter 1124: Section 1125 Where to Head

“You also left out one point, the effective threshold of this rain cloud can only diffuse with Nitotipu at the center,” Monty said.

Luci was taken aback for a moment, then said, “I understand what you mean, sir.”

The other Wizards also showed sudden realizations, and after pondering for a moment, Rivetta nodded at Monty, saying, “Then let’s follow Mr. Monty’s instructions. However, what is our target?”

In the yard of scorched earth, Canaan looked puzzled, “What do they understand? Why do I not quite get it?”

Canaan looked at the others in the yard, Fafnir’s expression remained unchanged, while Angel continued to manage the transmutations of the Illusionary Realm and the recording of the Crystal Ball. It seemed, only he didn’t grasp the Wizard leader’s meaning?

Canaan asked with curiosity, “Shop owner, do you know what they are talking about?”

“I didn’t expect the Demons of today to be even more foolish than humans,” Fafnir snorted coldly.

Canaan felt somewhat aggrieved; the humans had only spoken in half-sentences, how could he possibly know what they wanted to say?

Angel replied in a low voice, “Nitotipu’s rain cloud has a limited effective range, so there’s no need to stay there and entangle with them.”

“So, what they mean is, they’re preparing to take this iceberg and leave?”

Angel nodded.

Canaan snorted, “I thought they wouldn’t avoid the fight, but it turns out in the end they still chose to dodge.”

Angel smiled, who could have imagined Nitotipu would possess such a powerful Mysterious Object? The mystic effects of that umbrella hadn’t been fully figured out yet, but its almost invincible effects that had surfaced were already very powerful.

Moreover, distancing did not mean avoiding. In fact, moving away was also a way of probing Nitotipu’s next move. Whether Nitotipu followed or not, they could to a certain extent, complete a profile of that mysterious umbrella, and also make judgments about Nitotipu’s bottom line.

“I am quite curious, where does Mr. Monty plan to steer the iceberg?” Angel wondered inwardly.

The same doubt flashed through Rivetta’s mind as well.

Distancing was currently a better choice, first, it would prevent the Demons’ purification plan from pinpointing their location exactly, and second, it would also test the limits of Nitotipu and that umbrella.

But where should they go that would be more appropriate? If it weren’t for Angel’s previous description of the night shopkeeper’s view on humans, heading to the Hunting Museum would be the best option. But since the night shopkeeper made no distinction between humans and Demons, it was best not to provoke this potential Lord, to avoid standing against a Demon Lord later on.

But if they didn’t head to the Hunting Museum, then where? Wandering without a purpose was a choice too, but the benefits from doing so didn’t seem too high.

Or perhaps, landing on the ground?

While Rivetta pondered, Monty glanced in the direction of the Hunting Museum from afar. A large vortex appeared in the fiery sky, with a flow of fiery light at its center, connecting in a line with the Hunting Museum.

Symbols seemed to flash at the bottom of Monty’s eyes, countless thoughts twined like threads of shimmering light in his mind. Beyond all these thoughts, one voice echoed loud and clear.

——It was what Angel had described about the night shopkeeper before.

In the end, Monty lowered his eyebrows, dimming the light in his eyes, and turned to Maher, “Head to the core area of Lassudral.”

As soon as Monty finished speaking, all the Wizards present were taken aback. They hadn’t expected Monty to choose to head for the core area of Lassudral?! That was the true stronghold of the Demons, filled with countless powerful Demons. Going to the core area would force all the Demons who had been out of the fray right into the battlefield.

Only Sanders’s eyes flashed with understanding as he looked toward the core area.

Though it had been eroded by the meteor of flowing fire before, the core area sustained fewer damages due to the protection of a myriad of Demons. Under the fiery sky, the core area seemed very prosperous, and even appeared sacred and solemn inside the “dawn light.”

The towering buildings were grand and multilayered. At the very center, guarded by all the buildings, stood a towering spire that reached the heavens and connected to the Void…

After a long pause, the iceberg finally started to move.

This movement immediately triggered a reaction from the rain cloud. A myriad of tentacles flew out from the cloud, attacking the Wizards and attempting to destroy the iceberg’s power source.

However, Nitotipu’s tentacles in the cloud had a high endurance, but once they left the range of the rain cloud, although their strength still reached the level of a great Demon, their Restoration power weakened greatly.

Under Nitotipu’s hesitant actions, it was unable to stop the iceberg from leaving.

As the iceberg gradually disappeared from sight, Nitotipu’s thoughts churned incessantly – it had thought the humans would try their hardest to destroy the two Blood Cocoons to reduce their strength. If so, Nitotipu’s goal would also be achieved, not only could it delay the humans, but it was confident that once the humans entered the rain cloud, the humans would inevitably be the ones to fail.

But now the situation had changed, they were not only no longer entangling, but also avoiding them.

This made Nitotipu feel troubled.

Once they pursued, the Blood Cocoon’s restoration speed would inevitably be affected, and to reassemble the dense rainclouds would also require a buffering time, during which it couldn’t heal indefinitely. Just give the Wizard a chance to launch a fierce attack, and it would be extremely disadvantageous for them.

However, if they didn’t give chase, they couldn’t pin down the humans’ movements, which would lead to deviations in the positioning of the Void disturbances. A slight error in control at that moment could risk Lassudral being buried along with it.

“How about we don’t chase for now, and wait until those two fools emerge from the cocoons?” Yadasai, although helping with the treatment of the Blood Cocoon, had also noticed the changes outside.

Komodo’s gaze was cold and fierce as he stared at Winchester, who was covering his mouth on the floating ice: “You just need to help me kill that man who keeps vomiting blood, my own power can stop all of them alone.”

“To kill that man under the protection of a human Wizard is not easy.” Nitotipu looked at Komodo with undisguised disgust in her eyes, “If it weren’t for your complacency earlier, how could the situation have become so deadlocked?”

Flames of rage sparked in Komodo’s eyes, he wanted to rebuke Nitotipu fiercely, but with the sound of “pattering” rain, Komodo’s expression changed, showing a trace of fear, and he forcefully suppressed the retort that had reached his lips.

“As Yadasai said, our best approach right now is to save those two fools first. Only then, when facing them, will we not be at a disadvantage.” Nitotipu continued, “Moreover, their target is Aoluxiya, so they are very likely to go to the Hunting Museum. If they provoke the Night Museum Master…”

Just as she was speaking, Nitotipu suddenly became focused.

“No, they actually didn’t go to the Hunting Museum?! Where are they headed… eh?” Nitotipu’s expression was one of surprised suspicion: “They’re heading towards the core area… no, it’s the direction of the Void Tower!”

“Damn, Yadasai, stop healing that guy for now and hurry to stop them!” Nitotipu called out anxiously.

Anywhere else, Nitotipu wouldn’t be so anxious, but that was the Void Tower! The hub tower, eternally standing, created by the Abyssal Demon’s Eye!

According to human strength, it would be impossible to destroy a structure made by the Abyssal Demon’s Eye. But Nitotipu’s anxiety stemmed from the fact that Jupiter was in charge of the device that stabilized Spatial Energy! That simpleton who, aside from eating, didn’t care about anything!

If Jupiter were reckless, and still targeted humans with the Void disturbances…Humans might not be able to destroy the Void Tower, but the Void disturbances could!

Therefore, Nitotipu was also frantic.

Realizing the urgency, Yadasai immediately manifested his massive true form, flapping his bone wings and bursting through the rainclouds.

While Yadasai went to intercept, Nitotipu was lost in thought. There was something amiss; according to human logic, there was no reason to go to the core area, especially heading straight for the Void Tower?

Moreover, they had almost crippled Urdixinos and Minotaur earlier, by human logic, shouldn’t they think of a way to kill them first? Why did they suddenly change course?

Nitotipu’s doubts grew, feeling that humans might have seen through their plans. But the decision to purge had been so recent, and as soon as the news spread, all demons except those in the core area had entered alternate spaces for vigilance. Even if humans had infiltrated demon ranks, the information shouldn’t have gotten out so quickly?

While Nitotipu was pondering, Yadasai had already appeared on the flight path of the floating ice.

If it were the same as before, the floating ice would stop there and then, and try their best to confront Yadasai. But at this moment, Monty only dispatched Nereus to entangle Yadasai, while the others continued to ride the floating ice toward the core area.

Seeing this, Nitotipu was almost certain that the humans must have received some message or deduced something.

“Yadasai, stop entangling with them and head straight to the Void Tower. Activate the tower’s defense mechanisms and then replace Jupiter, you control the Spatial Energy stabilization device. If humans continue to fly towards the Void Tower, do not initiate the Void disturbances,” Nitotipu quickly instructed.

Upon receiving the message, Yadasai took a hit from Nereus and then transformed into a shadowy figure, rushing towards the core area.

Watching Yadasai’s shadow disappear into the horizon, Nereus’ handsome face revealed a mysterious smile.

The other Wizards on the floating ice also witnessed Yadasai’s departure, they glanced at the shadow in the sky, then looked back at the distant rainclouds, their lips revealing a knowing smile.

As the floating ice drew closer to the core area, the awe of the Void Tower became more palpable.

At that moment, the fiery red sky suddenly burst with a large group of demons, blocking their path.

“They really couldn’t hold back, could they?” the Wizards mused to themselves, eyes alight with burgeoning battle spirit: they might be no match for the great demons, but these lesser demons trying to block their way were like a mantis trying to stop a chariot!

Without Monty’s command, the melee began.

However, during the chaos, the Wizards failed to notice that a grey shadow became a Phantom Shadow, slipping away amidst the chaotic energy, flying towards the rainclouds.
