Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 798: Chapter 796: Three Days of Arrangements

In the blink of an eye, three days had passed. Gu Xi’s Silver Coffin had undergone significant modifications, while the Evil Coffin was in the final stages of its upgrade.

All the flashy embellishments on the Evil Coffin had been removed by the boss.

Now, the Evil Coffin had returned to its original form, a coffin tightly bound with iron chains.

The flesh placed by the coffin over the past few days had disappeared, and the previously metallic sheen of the coffin’s surface had become much darker, resembling a thick layer of blood rust.

The golden sphere in front of the Evil Coffin had turned black, with thick black mist seeping through the gaps, as if ready to escape at any moment.

The newly refurbished Silver Coffin was placed beside the Evil Coffin.

At this moment, the Silver Coffin appeared completely different, with the lid and the body completely separated.

The coffin body measured seven meters long and two and a half meters high, roughly the size of a minibus.

The original murals of the Angel vs. Demon battle on the exterior were gone.

They had been replaced by scenes of battles between Angels, Titans, and Bone Dragons under a layer of clouds.

However, except for the Angel which appeared lifelike, neither the Titans nor the Bone Dragons were carved as perfectly.

After all, the craftsmanship of these experts could not compare to the masters in the real world.

Not to mention the task of hiding Magic Arrays within the murals—much of the artwork served the purpose of the Magic Arrays.

To ensure some Magic Array effects, one expert even used a family heirloom cloud pattern to cover the rather useless body of the Angel.

Because of this, the Magic Arrays here were successfully arranged.

Now, apart from the undisturbed Angel Alliance on the exterior, there were thirteen different kinds of magic ingrained into the Silver Coffin.

The most important parts were the arrays on the lid, base, front, and back ends.

The lid was equipped with arrays for solidification, wind protection, and spatial stabilization, to ensure that the small chamber placed inside would not blow open or be dislodged during super speed movement.

The base was equipped with an antigravity array, mainly to lighten the weight of the entire Silver Coffin, allowing the Evil Coffin inside to fly at its intended speed, unaffected by the Silver Coffin’s weight.

At the front, there were arrays for wind breaking, air disruption, and charge to ensure the Silver Coffin could move forward without air or other resistance.

The rear end housed propulsion, combustion, and gas arrays, not only providing a sudden burst of speed but also deterring enemies from pursuing.

As for movement stability, it was largely dictated by the spatial stabilization array on the lid.

The sides of the coffin housed the vital Angel Alliance Magic Array, while the rest were arrays arranged around the Titan, Bone Dragon, and cloud scenes.

The cloud section was a defensive array, primarily guarding against various Elemental Magic effects.

The Titan side housed a Thunder Array, serving dual purposes: internally assisting the Angel Alliance in suppressing powerful Undead and externally boosting speed, even forming an electric grid for defense or converting to thunder for external attacks.

The Bone Dragon side was simpler, where Gu Xi participated, bringing elements from the Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon and Longgu Laboratory, even utilizing rituals from the Ghost Realm Battlefield.

This was in order to transform the overall effect of the Silver Coffin into the Undead Transformation, ensuring that the plethora of Magic Arrays wouldn’t alter the Silver Coffin’s attributes.

Inside, the Silver Coffin was divided into seven small compartments.

This was Gu Xi’s idea, and the others had no clue why it was so.

As long as Gu Xi wished for it, they would comply.

In truth, they had little idea that Gu Xi had learned this technique from the Taishan Prefect’s Secret Record.

This method of creating seven distinct spaces within the coffin was called the Emperor’s Burial Technique.

It was a technique for the burial of Princes, used to house items and treasures representing the Emperor’s identity.

Under the operation of the Taishan Prefect’s Secret Record, seven Purple Armors could be placed within these spaces, and through certain manipulations, one unique effect of each could be triggered on the Evil Coffin without activating Negative Effects.

Even though the ability to avoid Negative Effects was not as superior as Orange Armor, it was still an incredible advantage in this world.

Gu Xi dared not speak of this effect, only claiming he had certain items to install, thus necessitating the space.

Apart from the carved out spaces, there was space for storing the Evil Coffin, with green Potion already poured inside.

The surrounding area had arrays to absorb and store Negative Energy.

There was also a smaller cover at the top of the space, lined with locks for iron chains.

In time, the iron chains wrapped around the Evil Coffin would all be secured to these locks, eventually submerging into the green liquid in the center of the Silver Coffin.

As for the lid of the Silver Coffin, it was not Gu Xi’s concern; the boss excelled here.

They arranged a space like a motorhome, with a chair up front, a bedroom, kitchen, study, even a bathroom, and several observation balconies at the back.

Even the interior’s hard and soft furnishings were completed; in this regard, Gu Xi had to admit the boss’s skill in making carriages was quite exceptional.

After ensuring everything was as it should be, the boss approached the Evil Coffin, resolutely lifting the coffin lid.

This action startled Gu Xi.

But before the black mist from the Evil Coffin could emerge, the boss promptly tossed the now-blackened sphere into it, immediately sealing the lid.

No coffin nails were used, just iron chains, as eight people hoisted the Evil Coffin into the green liquid.

Afterwards, Gu Xi personally stepped forward to place the small cover over the Silver Coffin, then began pouring in large quantities of spices and herbs.

The experts watching Gu Xi pour out these spices and herbs were wide-eyed.

These spices and herbs were of high quality, only seen in illustration books; possessing one or two specimens was already remarkable.

Yet Gu Xi treated them like roadside weeds, carelessly dumping them down.

Witnessing this made their hearts ache.

But they had no idea that in Gu Xi’s eyes, they truly were weeds.

These were all collected by the Undead under Li Yufang’s orders from the last world for culinary purposes.

Having gathered too much, the excess was brought back.

Some were sent to Yalidu City, planted in a Herb Garden or right in the Magic Plant District.

The rest were left here.

After dumping these herbs, the lid of the Silver Coffin was also set in place.

At that moment, the boss let out a loud shout.

”Seal the Coffin and Close the Lid, Unite!”
