The selection for sowing the five elements traits is quite strict.

First, the ground must be an iron surface, if not possible, one must find a metal mine and level it, using a metal earth vein as the base, and plant the fruit trees on it.

No matter if this metal mine is an iron mine, gold ore, or copper mine, as long as there is a mine, it will do.

After leveling the vein, facing west, a Hundred Bone Mountain must be constructed in this location.

At least a hundred corpses are needed for the setup. Of course, if there’s a natural mass grave or White Bone Tomb, that would be even better.

This is precisely one of the features of the five elements, which belongs to the water part, though it’s not clear how this is understood, while the east requires arranging a river, which should be the water part, yet it demands a river with a large amount of silt.

Additionally, planting trees on the vein, it unexpectedly requires a forest with fire attributes, and underground mining requires setting up wood attribute tunnels.

This whole arrangement left Gu Xi completely dumbfounded, feeling that this design is entirely anti-human.

Though he hasn’t studied the five elements much, he has learned about them somewhat.

Whether it’s metal, wood, water, fire, or earth, or others like earth, water, wind, and fire, at least what attribute something possesses, Gu Xi can always identify.

But the current situation is entirely anti-human: a river with earth attributes, bones with water attributes, a forest with fire attributes, and wood attributes buried underground.

Can a human conjure such an idea?

If one could find such a place, it would be quite remarkable.

And to wish for five congenital five-element traits to gather together is simply trying to eat air.

Yet this formula provides a detailed account of this situation, and clearly explains how to select the appropriate position, and if no suitable location is found, how to remedy it through certain means.

For example, artificially creating such earth veins.

However, as mentioned earlier, no matter what, there must be one congenital earth vein.

This is the guarantee for the upgrade of the fruit tree, of course, if one doesn’t want the fruit tree to upgrade, one can plant it anywhere.

But in that case, planting the fruit tree for Grass Returning Pill becomes meaningless.

Gu Xi noticed that this formula’s description also included some insights.

Apparently, the Bitter Alchemist also intended to refine this Grass Returning Pill.

However, not only did he fail to succeed, but he was also trapped by the Grass Returning Pill.

So on this formula, it also records how to destroy the tree seeds, and consume part of life and level to escape from the great pit of Grass Returning Pill upon noticing something amiss.

But Gu Xi was not concerned about these.

He was more interested in the annual investment for Grass Returning Pill.

The first round of Grass Returning Pill is for the planter, and each subsequent round requires an appropriate quantity of materials input.

These materials are mainly based on flesh and blood, with the higher the level, the better.

The formula also records how various flesh and blood affect the quality of Grass Returning Pill.

Generally speaking, a Blue Quality Grass Returning Pill only needs Level 20 or above demon beast flesh and blood for feeding, though at least one piece per year is required, more won’t affect the quality level of Grass Returning Pill, but there certainly are benefits.

The requirement for Purple Quality is much higher, starting at Level 30.

Gu Xi also noticed that when feeding the Grass Returning Pill, it’s best to place a complete demon beast directly inside, under no circumstance should a dead demon beast be placed inside.

Only by placing a complete demon beast can the blood, flesh, and soul be fully utilized, resulting in Grass Returning Pill with excellent effects.

If a dead demon beast is sent in, it might produce defective Grass Returning Pill.

So?

Gu Xi looked at the formula in his hand.

Would he need to capture some demon beasts to plant trees every year for a decade?

Thinking of this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but have a headache.

He considered, shouldn’t he just plant one tree and call it a day?

But in the end, Gu Xi shook his head.

Just planting one tree wouldn’t suffice.

If facing resistance from Alchemist Qing, Li Yufang might not be able to wait.

Gu Xi thought for a moment, then turned to contact Eve.

On the other side, Eve had already analyzed this alchemy method clearly.

”Sir, I just discussed with Luna, if you want to establish such an alchemy tree in Yalidov City, it’s best to relocate outside the city to rearrange the area.

The earth vein power within the city is all under control, we cannot allocate enough energy for this big tree.

Moreover, I’ve just analyzed some situations and discovered an issue.

The first person to research this tree seems to have taken a bizarre path.

Bloodthirsty and eerie powers lurk behind this formula.

If possible, it’s best not to use our people to plant this tree.

If we must plant the tree, it’s best to steer it towards our needed direction.”

”Do you mean Undead Transformation?”

Gu Xi pondered for a moment and asked.

”Yes, I’ve asked Luna and the others, and I personally think we need more experimental subjects. The world you are currently in, is most suitable for planting this kind of fruit tree.

We should plant in two places, one overt and one covert.

Publicly conducting undead transformation experiments, privately planting according to original ideas.

Meanwhile, plant one outside of Yalidov City as an alternative, and another within the mysterious school.

I also believe these two places need to conduct undead transformation.”

At this moment, the figure of Eldest Princess Anna appeared in Gu Xi’s special mirror, she directly pushed Eve aside and calmly said to Gu Xi.

”If possible, reserve a tree to graft to me, I want to graft this tree into an Apple Tree.”

Regarding Eldest Princess Anna’s proposal, Gu Xi was also somewhat speechless.

How did this get related to the Apple Tree?

”This is just a suggestion, but I truly believe, that this Grass Returning Pill thing aligns well with the apple tree inside the church.”

Gu Xi said somewhat helplessly: ”Let me think about it, but first prioritize arranging the Grass Returning Pill needed by Li Yufang, no, I got confused by you, arrange the Grass Returning Pill needed by Li Yufang well.

I will go choose a suitable location, which of the two Level 25 ones in Yalidov City would be suitable for planting trees this time?”

Hearing Gu Xi’s question, Eldest Princess Anna thought for a moment, ”The Level 27 Ghost is more suitable, the Ghost has a higher status compared to Skeleton Soldiers in that world as well.

Deploying the Ghost over, it’s not easily noticeable by people.”

”That’ll do.” Gu Xi thought for a moment and agreed that Eldest Princess Anna’s idea was reasonable, and decisively said: ”Eve, I’ll leave this matter to you, halt the subsequent research for now, first teach this Ghost how to refine Grass Returning Pill.

No matter what, this matter must not go wrong.”

”Rest assured, teaching others to do things is my specialty.”

”Alright, I’ll go find a suitable place now, and once this matter is dealt with, I’ll return.”
