Chapter 920: Chapter 164: Driving Skills

In front of them were a dozen or so burly men of different skin colors, making it impossible to determine which side they belonged to. But one thing was certain: this group of men did not come with good intentions.

The windows of the two supercars were being beaten by these men with iron rods, signaling the three people inside to come out on their own—of course, shattering a supercar’s window wasn’t that easy.

Maybe they also thought that treating such a supercar in this way was a kind of crime… However, their threatening intent was becoming more and more intense.

“Gan Hong, do you know which side these people belong to?” Song Ying was not flustered at this moment.

As an agent for the Song Family’s public business and the princess of the Song Dynasty, Song Ying had seen even more ferocious people than these. Members of the Song Family have never been timid—despite their small numbers.

“Not sure.” Gan Hong quickly communicated with Song Ying in the supercar ahead through the car’s communication system, “They shouldn’t be locals. No one here dares to lay a hand on you… Please hold on; the guards should be arriving soon.”

They always managed to catch up with Miss Song Ying speeding on the highway—in the village used for training by the Song Family, there was a saying: being able to fight is not a skill; having superb driving skills that allow you to catch up to a supercar speeding like a wild horse on complex roads is true skill, deserving to be a guard of the Han Residence.

This time, it was actually Gan Hong’s negligence. When Song Ying went out driving, there were at least three sedans and a team of nine guards. Gan Hong knew Song Ying’s preferences and thought she was in a bad mood, so he deliberately let the trailing guards drive slower.

Who would have thought that someone would indeed dare to directly challenge Tai Sui like this?

“Come out, girly! Come out!”

On the mountainous road, the group that suddenly intercepted had grown impatient, and their smashing of the two supercars had become even more violent.

“Are you waiting for someone to come to your rescue? Sorry, but you’ll be waiting in vain!”

This seemed to be the leader of these interceptors, a man with medium-length hair, in his thirties, with a yellowish complexion, speaking the local language not very fluently.

Song Ying frowned, but just then, a loud explosion sounded from below the mountainous road, as if there had been a detonation.

Looking from afar, a string of flames could be seen along the winding road below.

“It’s the guard team’s car… Are these guys premeditated?” Song Ying’s expression changed slightly because she realized these guys were not ignorant wannabe robbers but had organized and strategically planned this interception.

They knew her identity, and they even knew the Song Family’s influence here… yet they dared to intercept.

There was someone orchestrating this behind the scenes… and whoever it was, didn’t fear direct retaliation from the Song Family.

Enemies… or competitors?

“You won’t come out, huh?” At this point, the medium-haired man in the crowd sneered, taking out a wooden stick wrapped in rags, dousing it with gasoline to make a torch, while others began pouring gasoline onto the two supercars!

“Let’s see if you come out then!” sneered the medium-haired man.

Luo Qiu lightly furrowed his brow, his thumb and middle finger gently pinching together… his ability had no specific activation condition, snapping fingers was just a personal habit, like a kind of self-indication.

“Sit tight!” Song Ying suddenly urged, “What a joke, thinking some random thugs can capture me? They’re centuries too early!”

At that moment, Song Ying directly started the supercar’s engine, Luo Qiu blinked… he seemed to have guessed what Song Ying was planning to do!

Reverse gear, full throttle, there was a loud bang followed by a real sense of collision—Song Ying had driven the expensive supercar head-on into the car the men had used to block them!

Boom—!!

Reverse—boom—first gear, throttle—boom—!!

“I’m so annoyed!!!!” Song Ying’s fingers danced rapidly on the paddle shifters, mumbling angrily, “Working overtime every day, I’m so annoyed!!! Finally had a chance to race, to blow off some steam! I’m so annoyed!! Go to hell, you little bastards!!!”

The Hennessey Venom was heavily scarred, yet remarkably successful—under Song Ying’s madness, it forcefully ‘pushed’ the intercepting cars aside, and when there was enough space to escape, it shot forward like a rocket!

With a terrifying acceleration of just 2.4 seconds for 0 to 100 km/h, the Hennessey Venom had already shot far away.

The group of men dumbfoundedly watched as the Hennessey Venom broke through their blockade, suddenly waking them up. The medium-haired leader shouted angrily, “What are you doing standing there! Chase them!!”

But before they could react, the sound of screeching brakes came from the front, and the speeding Hennessey Venom performed a drifting U-turn on the highway.

The headlights shone, the engine roared, and the exhaust sound waves echoed all around.

Song Ying licked her lips, a mad look on her face, shouting as if roaring, “Since elementary school, I’ve never chickened out playing bumper cars! Come on, mutual destruction!!!”

Boom—!!!

The Hennessey Venom crazily sped out, crashing once more toward the three sedans and a dozen men. Seeing Song Ying’s intention not to brake but speed up wildly, Luo Qiu’s fingers relaxed.

Hmm… it seems Song Ying’s character setting is collapsing somewhere.

“FUCK!” The medium-haired leader, seeing this, gave up worrying about the damage and picked up a gun, starting to shoot directly!

Bam bam bam—!!

The bullets hit the Hennessey Venom’s windshield, creating cracks, but Song Ying laughed joyfully.

“This woman… she’s crazy! Run!!”

Boom!

A man couldn’t dodge in time, and as the Venom grazed past him, he flew out onto the road, tumbling several meters, landing with a scream.

Song Ying evidently had no intention of stopping. The steering wheel and paddle shifters were operated rapidly, truly treating the Hennessey Venom as a bumper car.

Gan Hong sighed helplessly seeing this, then took out a gun and a magazine from the glove compartment. The Alfa Romeo’s door opened, and Gan Hong rolled out, half-kneeling and shooting swiftly.

Gan Hong’s bullets were far more efficient than Song Ying’s reckless attacks. These people, already frightened by Song Ying’s daring driving, were thrown into chaos, and Gan Hong easily took them down.

“Damn…” Watching as over a dozen men were put down by two women, the medium-haired leader gritted his teeth, igniting a lighter, eyeing the gasoline barrel on the ground and prepared to ignite it!

“You’d better not do that.”

But at this moment, the long-haired thug heard Gan Hong’s icy warning and felt the hard object pressed against the back of his head, undoubtedly the barrel of a gun!

“Don’t!” The long-haired thug immediately threw the lighter to the ground and raised his hands to indicate his surrender.

Gan Hong snorted coldly, kicked the thug’s knee, knocking him to the ground, then swiftly grabbed his shoulder, subduing him instantly.

Boom—!

The Hennessey Venom finally crashed into the front of a black sedan, the front of the supercar was entirely deformed, and Song Ying was gasping heavily, her hands still gripping the steering wheel tightly.

She turned her head, still out of breath, looked at Luo Qiu who was silently staring at her, and sneered, “What! Never seen a woman drive before?!”

What a pity… This supercar seems to have been driven only once?

Luo Qiu glanced at the ‘accident’ scene and suddenly said softly, “Next time, if you want to play bumper cars, go to an amusement park.”

“Mind your own business!” Song Ying snorted coldly, kicked open the car door, and stepped out.

A gun dropped to the ground from one of the burly men who had been hit. Song Ying casually picked it up, loaded it, walked over to the long-haired thug, and shoved the barrel into his mouth, “Who sent you? You’ve got some nerve!”

The once aggressive thug didn’t have the guts he imagined, and as the gun barrel hit his teeth, he shuddered all over.

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk, don’t kill me! Don’t kill me!” The long-haired thug begged directly.

Song Ying glanced indifferently at Gan Hong, who nodded, and without saying a word, detached the thug’s hand joints, causing him to scream again.

Luo Qiu interestingly observed Song Ying and Gan Hong… It seems with just one look, these two have a great rapport.

During the interrogation of the thug, they found out that someone had paid them a sum of money to intercept them on this road and kidnap Song Ying.

All the weapons and the bombs planted on the road to destroy the bodyguards’ convoy were provided by the buyer behind the scenes. They had actually been lurking nearby, waiting for a Hennessey Venom to appear.

However, they didn’t know who the buyer behind the scenes was; they didn’t ask too much—just knew that after completing this kidnapping, they would receive a hefty reward.

Also, as Gan Hong imagined, the gang was not local but a crime syndicate that had wandered in from elsewhere.

Suddenly, Gan Hong’s phone rang. After answering, she quickly looked at Song Ying and said, “Miss Ying, the guards are fine, they jumped successfully, a few unlucky ones got minor injuries, nothing serious, just a false alarm.”

“I know who did it.” Song Ying snorted coldly, extremely dissatisfied, “It must be that dead woman! She always acts like this, hoping to retaliate in kind!”

“Boss Zhong’s Third Miss?” Gan Hong frowned, “But intelligence shows that Boss Zhong’s people arrived two days ago and were picked up by Zhong Luoyue… Is it possible?”

Song Ying snorted coldly, “Isn’t it clear if we ask?”

Ask?

Luo Qiu was stunned for a moment, only to see Song Ying pick up the phone directly, after a few beeps, the call connected, and Song Ying said hatefully, “Hypocrite, next time you send someone to mess with me, can you find someone professional… I knew it was you! Don’t let me run into you again! You wretched woman!!”

Seeing Song Ying’s fiery expression, Luo Qiu wasn’t surprised that Zhong Luoyue was behind the roadblock incident, but that Song Ying and Zhong Luoyue had such a relationship… Could just call and ask?

Though it’s unclear what Zhong Luoyue said to Song Ying, from Song Ying’s deflated appearance, it seems it wasn’t anything pleasant.

Well… Children of tomb-robbing families have many sorrows not shared with outsiders, huh?

Luo Qiu shook his head; it was just a false alarm… More accurately, just two very wealthy women with super powers bickering.

“But speaking of which, how do we get back?” Gan Hong was the first to raise this question.

Because it was something she had to consider—the bodyguard convoy had been destroyed, and Song Ying’s Hennessey Venom was completely annihilated by her ‘bumper car’ skills. Currently, the only operational vehicle left was the Alfa Romeo.

But it’s a two-seater supercar with no consideration for a backseat. Two seats, three people, how to sit?

Or wait here for the Song Family to send people to pick them up?

“The family absolutely cannot know about this!” Song Ying suddenly became a bit anxious.

Luo Qiu looked puzzled, only to see Song Ying stammering, “Grandfather… he doesn’t know the method I used to intercept Zhong Luoyue… There are unwritten rules between tomb-robbing families… Anyway, this must not be leaked!”

“Then… I’ll drive, Miss Ying, you and Young Master Qiu squeeze together.” Gan Hong thought for a while.

Song Ying shrieked, “Absolutely not! Who wants to squeeze with this deadpan?!”

Gan Hong could only say helplessly, “Then Miss Ying drives, and I’ll squeeze with Young Master.”

“Isn’t that letting him off easy?” Song Ying snorted in disagreement—Gan Hong would absolutely not leave Luo Qiu’s side, so these two were stuck together.

If Song Ying drove off alone, she wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving Luo Qiu and Gan Hong on this mountain road… But to leave herself behind, knowing there are guards coming from the car crash, still made Song Ying feel abandoned.

“We can’t just walk back, right? Miss Ying.” Gan Hong shook her head, “Probably won’t be able to call a taxi at this time… Oh, and Miss Ying, you’d better issue a gag order to these guards.”

Song Ying, however, looked relaxed, “Don’t worry about that; they will report through Uncle Wu first, and he’ll help me hide it from Grandfather… But I must show up safe and sound before Uncle Wu quickly.”

How come you’re so skilled at dealing with this… Seems like Old Master Song isn’t easy either.

“Actually, I can drive.” Luo Qiu proposed a compromise.

Oh oh, though the Hennessey Venom was a pity, the Alfa Romeo seems nice as well… It’s Luo Qiu’s second time driving a supercar.

So, on the narrow passenger seat, Gan Hong and Song Ying ended up piling on top of each other.

Luo Qiu drove slowly.

Suddenly, the Alfa Romeo erupted with a huge burst of light, accompanied by a boom, and the car flipped, crashing into the side of the mountain road…
