Chapter 901: Chapter 145: Mr. Blind

“We found you in the ruins.”

“You were already unconscious at the time, and later the rescue team sent you to the hospital.”

“Sir, you’re really lucky, only your leg was injured. With some time to recover, you’ll be fine.”

Ouyang Jie, waking up after the accident, heard the nurse in the hospital telling him a lot… However, when he heard about the castle collapse and the many guests buried alive in the cellar, his expression was extremely agitated.

He couldn’t calm down. His master, his half-father-like Uncle Jin… all of them had left him overnight? Even… Zhong Luoyue.

He couldn’t reach his master, nor could he reach Uncle Jin, but fortunately, he managed to call Zhong Luoyue.

“A Jie, listen to me, wait for me to come find you, I’m also in the hospital.” This was Zhong Luoyue speaking.

…

Later, the rescue team arrived and sent many of the injured to the nearest hospital. Successfully ‘blending into’ the crowd, Zhong Luoyue was naturally sent to the hospital as well.

Many things happened.

Before entering the large ward where Ouyang Jie was, Zhong Luoyue thought this way—later, when ‘blending into’ the crowd, Luo Qiu disappeared without a trace in front of her and Queen Elizabeth.

But later, she heard that a young man was brought to the hospital by helicopter, currently in an advanced single-person ward. Zhong Luoyue suspected that this young man might be Luo Qiu who also ‘blended into’ the crowd.

She couldn’t go to that place because from a distance, Zhong Luoyue could see many guards; she guessed these were Song Family people.

Later, she received a call from Ouyang Jie, feeling somewhat relieved because she wasn’t sure if Ouyang Jie had safely escaped from the collapse—especially since, due to a certain matter, she didn’t know if Ouyang Jie was aware of everything behind Uncle Jin.

Interestingly, Zhong Luoyue found that the batch of people who went to the manor to cover for her and then crashed to send her to the hospital were also in this hospital and were already in contact.

With some familiar people around, Zhong Luoyue finally felt a sense of security.

“You wait for me outside, I’ll go in to see Mr. Ouyang myself.” Zhong Luoyue instructed a few bodyguards who came with slight injuries, organized her thoughts, and walked into the large ward.

Many of the injured from this disaster were here—in fact, there were far more injured than those in this large ward, but many were only slightly injured, receiving bandages and simple checks outside.

Zhong Luoyue quickly found Ouyang Jie among the beds.

At this moment, he looked exhausted, sitting down with his head lowered, but his fingers kept rotating the phone, showing that he was anxious inside.

“Luckily, you’re fine too.” Zhong Luoyue slowly walked in front of Ouyang Jie.

He raised his head, seeing Zhong Luoyue pulling the curtains around the bed, creating a relatively private space.

Zhong Luoyue brought over a chair and sat down.

“Luoyue!” Ouyang Jie called out with concern.

Zhong Luoyue just shook her head, “I’m fine, the doctor said it’s just some shock.”

“That’s good…” Ouyang Jie nodded, then eagerly asked, “What… exactly happened? My master, they really… really are?”

Zhong Luoyue shook her head again, “I don’t know exactly what happened. At the wine tasting event in the cellar, I waited for you for a while but didn’t see you. Later, I felt tired and went up. I wanted to find you, but then the castle suddenly collapsed.”

Not only to Ouyang Jie, but she also said the same to those who came to investigate—about everything that happened in the cellar, Zhong Luoyue already planned not to reveal a single bit to the outside world.

Here is the Song Family’s territory; let the Song Family and local government handle the trouble… As long as digging occurs, the zombie corpses underground in the castle will eventually be discovered.

“How could this happen…” Ouyang Jie painfully gripped his hair, “It shouldn’t collapse, right? It had been repaired a few years ago… How did it suddenly collapse?”

“We can only wait for experts from various fields to investigate.” Zhong Luoyue sighed, then suddenly said, “By the way, where exactly did you go at the time?”

Ouyang Jie instinctively replied, “I went to the study to wait for my master, but didn’t find him. Later, Uncle Jin came to chat with me, I had a drink… then somehow fell asleep.”

“You have a good alcohol tolerance… Is there something wrong with that drink?” Zhong Luoyue tentatively asked.

Ouyang Jie quickly said, “Uncle Jin treats me like a son; he wouldn’t harm me or have any reason to drug my drink… I think probably due to jet lag, I was indeed tired.”

But he looked confused; Zhong Luoyue didn’t know if such a reason could even convince himself.

“No, I need to find my master and Uncle Jin… I only have these two relatives left.” Ouyang Jie’s expression suddenly became agitated, struggling to get out of bed.

But with his injured leg, as soon as his foot touched the ground, he fell, pulling the wound, causing Ouyang Jie to cry out in pain.

The nurse outside the curtain heard the sound and quickly came in, helping Zhong Luoyue lift Ouyang Jie back onto the bed.

“Sir, you can’t get out of bed now, please take care of your body, okay?” The nurse’s reprimanding tone.

Zhong Luoyue sighed softly and looked at Ouyang Jie’s leg wound… The knee wound had burst open, and blood was seeping through the bandage, staining it red.

Looking at this splash of red, Zhong Luoyue suddenly felt bewildered, her heart itching, even experiencing a momentary hunger. The buzzing sound echoed in her head as if she had gone deaf.

Zhong Luoyue shivered suddenly… feeling her body a bit cold.

“No, let me get out of bed, I need to find my master!” Ouyang Jie still insisted.

Zhong Luoyue took a deep breath, “A Jie, stay here and recuperate. I’ll follow up on your master’s situation. Maybe they’re just trapped below, not necessarily the worst outcome… Don’t worry, if there’s news, I’ll notify you immediately.”

“Luoyue…”

At this moment, he could only trust her, his emotions slowly calming down. After Zhong Luoyue comforted him a few more sentences, she mentioned going to see those bodyguards injured in the car crash and used this excuse to leave.

Ouyang Jie felt countless reluctance in his heart but had no reason to stop her, so he silently nodded.

As the curtain lifted and she went out, Zhong Luoyue glanced back at Ouyang Jie, seeing his expression, Zhong Luoyue estimated that Ouyang Jie probably didn’t know the truth behind the castle… Not even about something very important to him.

She and Karen Yisheer had entered Jin Wucheng’s memory together, and when they left, the memories of Jin Wucheng burst out like a merry-go-round.

Zhong Luoyue discovered a secret… that is, Ouyang Jie is very likely the illegitimate child of Jin Wucheng. This is deduced from her memory of Jin Wucheng often hiding in his room to look at a photograph — the photo features a woman, but the woman’s appearance oddly reminds her of Ouyang Jie.

And Jin Wucheng’s extraordinary concern for Ouyang Jie, among other things…

But if Ouyang Jie is truly the illegitimate child of Jin Wucheng, why did he abandon him, and then let him enter the castle to become Tu Shenyi’s disciple? The reasons remain unknown.

“Leave someone here to watch over Mr. Ouyang, and see if he needs anything.” Zhong Luoyue ordered the bodyguard outside the large hospital room before swiftly leaving.

She intended to meet someone.

…

…

This is likely the best single room in the hospital, with facilities luxurious enough to be compared to a star-rated hotel.

In the hospital room, Elder Song sat quietly with his eyes closed on the sofa, while Song Ying silently held his arm.

Gan Hong and Uncle Wu stood side by side nearby, not daring to speak — outside the door were elite members of the Song Family, along with the Song Big Three Brothers, who hurried over after receiving simple bandages.

The doctor had already said that the patient had no real problems; there were no visible injuries and even after an MRI, no hidden injury was found. The reason for the coma remains unclear, but the patient’s physical condition is excellent.

Yet, he remains unconscious, a situation that left Old Master Song quite displeased — in fact, several neurology experts had been ‘invited’ from various places and were on their way.

Uncle Wu’s phone suddenly rang. After answering, he quickly whispered into Elder Song’s ear, “Old Master, the eldest has already brought Mr. Blind from the village. He says he can arrive at the hospital in half an hour.”

Song Haoran has been preparing manpower in the village for the return to Hua Country — after receiving communication from Song Da, Elder Song immediately informed Song Haoran.

Considering the timeline, if they departed then, they should be arriving soon.

“Mmm… understood.” Only then did Song Tianyou open his eyes, looking at Luo Qiu on the hospital bed, suddenly saying, “Uncle Wu, did Luo Qiu’s eyes just move a bit?”

Several people looked and shook their heads inwardly — probably just a misconception caused by Elder Song’s excessive concern and eager anticipation.

Elder Song sighed softly, then stood up and instructed, “Uncle Wu, Gan Hong, you two stay here… Little Ying, come out for a walk with Grandpa.”

Song Ying nodded, helping Song Tianyou to stand.

Upon exiting the room, the Song Big Three Brothers hurried forward. Song Tianyou waved them over and quietly said, “You three come with me as well. Explain everything in detail.”

The Song Big Three Brothers nodded.

The group arrived at a small courtyard in the inpatient section and sat in a pavilion. Song Er and Song San guarded outside while Song Da recounted the events of the day.

Starting from the giant carousel of the wine tasting event, to Song Da killing Lady Eve, finally discovering the treasure vault and secret passage, and then escaping.

“Is this real?”

For Song Ying, the events described by Song Da were nothing short of fantastical. She was utterly incredulous.

“Of course.” Song Da nodded solemnly, taking out his phone, “This was recorded by Lao San after the carousel game began. Although it’s short, it captures the entire process of the vampire monster’s killing spree.”

Song Da placed the phone on the table for Elder Song and Song Ying to see.

Even for Elder Song, who had weathered decades of ups and downs, the video depicting the leech-like monsters draining people dry was moving. Song Ying was even more frightened.

This was certainly not a movie clip… but genuinely happened!

“My God…” Song Ying’s mouth opened slightly, thinking about the instant such terrifying events occurred when she was inside the castle, making her feel a chill and instinctively hug her arms.

“Miss Ying, there are still many things in this world that we cannot explain,” Song Da said calmly at this time, “Just like the Neijia Kung Fu we martial artists cultivate, which seems incredible to ordinary people. But to us, this world is far bigger than you see.”

“I just…” Song Ying wanted to say something, but couldn’t find the right words, finally just shaking her head.

“If these monsters are truly the culprits, is it possible that Luo Qiu’s current unconsciousness is actually their doing?” Song Tianyou suddenly asked at this time.

Song Da shook his head, indicating he didn’t know… But Song Da’s heart truly understood, amidst the shock from this supernatural event, Old Song’s concern still focuses on this Young Master Luo.

This young man holds an astonishing position in Old Master Song’s heart… Despite Song Da’s rough appearance, his thoughts are sharp as ever.

“He should be fine, probably just inhaled too much of the Mandela flower scent.”

Suddenly, a deep voice echoed from outside the pavilion, startling the Song Big Three Brothers into looking over, only to see two people walking side by side in the night.

On the left stood the carefree Song Haoran, and on the right was a young man.

Approximately twenty-five or six years old, yet his hair was gray. His eyes were closed, with a red dot at the center of his brow.

He wore Tang clothing and cloth shoes, walking slowly, occasionally coughing, appearing somewhat ill.

However, despite his closed eyes, he seemed able to see, moving as if he wasn’t blind.

“Blind Man!” Song Da stood up now, eagerly saying, “You’re finally here!”

“Mr. Blind.” Different from Song Da’s enthusiasm, Song Tianyou appeared very respectful, even getting up to greet him, “You’ve arrived.”

The reason Elder Song shows such respect is partly because Blind Man is indeed an extraordinary person, and also because of age… Mr. Blind is truly over a hundred years old, deserving of Elder Song’s junior courtesy.

“Met the Old Master Song.”

Mr. Blind slowly walked to the pavilion, saluting Song Tianyou with a fist, giving people a good impression.
