Chapter 888: Chapter 132: Ambitions Annihilated in an Instant

The blood whip in Xitacil’s hand was also stopped.

The last zombie on the scene had its skull exploded by his whip…exactly at the moment Viscount Fernandis tore off Tu Shenyi’s mask.

“Karen?” Xitacil stared at the white-haired woman who revealed her true face and was sitting on the ground, surprised, “How could it be you?”

In an instant, he rushed forward, possibly because he was overly excited, he even ignored the presence of ‘patriarch’ Viscount Fernandis, grabbed this white-haired woman’s collar with both hands, and violently lifted her up, “Why is it you? Where is Tu Shenyi? Was this all part of your plot? Where exactly is he?”

Xitacil’s anger wasn’t feigned; the self-proclaimed clever man now felt a sense of frustration after being played with.

Tu Shenyi…perhaps it should be called Karen now, this bloodsucker who had granted Tu Shenyi eternal life, at this moment slowly glanced at Xitacil.

The cold gaze caused a change in Xitacil’s expression.

As Karen placed her hand on Xitacil’s hands that were grasping her, Xitacil immediately loosened his grip in horror and took two steps back.

“Waste!”

Unexpectedly, Xitacil was instantly struck hard by Viscount Fernandis!

His head was swept by Viscount Fernandis from behind, and he flew out to the right, smashing hard into the wall.

At the moment he landed, Xitacil’s face instantly showed a look of terror, as Viscount Fernandis was not his ‘patriarch’, but he was the origin of the Fernandis Family, the respect for origin hidden in his body always existed.

Viscount Fernandis snorted coldly and no longer paid attention to Xitacil, but turned to Karen, coldly saying, “I don’t care whether you are Tu Shenyi or the last bloodline of the Yexiel Family, nor am I interested in what your purpose is today. As long as you obediently hand over the method to create True Blood, I will not only spare your life, but my promise regarding my blood will also remain valid! With your talent, becoming the Fifth Generation, or even the Fourth Generation, is merely a matter of time!”

“Ancestor!” Xitacil shouted unwillingly, but after meeting Viscount Fernandis’s gaze, he shrunk his head in fear.

“There is no such thing as True Blood.”

“What?” Viscount Fernandis’s gaze tightened immediately, staring firmly at Karen.

Just as she suddenly burst into laughter, “I’m telling you, there has never been any so-called True Blood! It has never existed; it’s all just a lie!”

“You!” Viscount Fernandis furiously grabbed Karen’s neck again.

Under his overwhelming power, Karen couldn’t even resist. His crazed grip deformed her neck, as Karen showed a look of pain.

Yet Viscount Fernandis threw Karen to the ground at this point, “I’ve told you, if you are bent on dying, I won’t kill you! I disdain using my hands to fulfill your expectations…If you want to die, go commit suicide! Go away! Now that I am resurrected, even without True Blood, I will eventually gain the power to confront the Thirteen Clans!”

Karen did not speak, just silently climbed up, staggering as she felt along the wall to leave, without even glancing at anyone.

“Ancestor, how could you just let her leave like that, how can you believe her words so easily?” Xitacil questioned Viscount Fernandis loudly in disbelief.

“What a rebellious and incompetent child.” Viscount Fernandis glanced at Xitacil extremely displeased, and said with his hands behind his back, “Regardless of what her purpose is, once she’s failed, she’ll surely return to her hive, where she will definitely hide her secrets. Do you still not understand such a simple truth?”

Ancestor’s strategy is deep…Xitacil shivered suddenly, realizing that his fear was due to Karo’s appearance, truly…

But he didn’t blame himself, because all along, he has never beaten that woman, almost always finding himself being harshly beaten, thus he became terribly afraid of her combat prowess.

No wonder in the lab ‘Tu Shenyi’ could instantly kill him, it wasn’t because Tu Shenyi gained great power from devouring Karen’s power, but ‘he’ was that terrifying woman…the last bloodline of the Yexiel Family, the most outstanding and powerful genius in centuries!

“Then should we follow her now and not let her notice?” Xitacil quickly spoke along Viscount Fernandis’s train of thought.

“No hurry.” Viscount Fernandis said indifferently, “Before that, let’s get rid of some irrelevant individuals… My resurrection must not be disclosed.”

Saying this, Viscount Fernandis’s gaze, like emanating cold air, suddenly spread over to Luo Qiu and the other two.

Upon meeting the terrifying gaze of this Fourth Generation bloodsucker, Queen Elizabeth’s entire body trembled uncontrollably. As for Zhong Luoyue, she was in even worse shape; feeling as if her brain was exploding, painfully clutching her head, she collapsed onto the ground.

“A half-blood, a newborn?” Viscount Fernandis snorted coldly, “The newborn can be spared… I dislike half-bloods!”

Without a doubt, upon resurrection, Viscount Fernandis instantly exploded one of Takizawa’s split bodies—Leech Monster, and questioned Xitacil’s matters, proving he was a radical bloodline theorist.

Now without saying a word, he flashed forward, coldly saying, “Bastards shouldn’t exist!”

Queen Elizabeth couldn’t even react, seeing Viscount Fernandis’s hand close in like a sharp blade, ready to pierce her heart, she was horrified.

“I have promised.”

His hand halted before Queen Elizabeth’s chest, unable to move further…upon reexamining, Viscount Fernandis’s wrist was held firmly by another hand at this moment.

Luo Qiu.

He reached out and seemed to casually grab Viscount Fernandis’s wrist, preventing him from advancing an inch further.

“I promised her grandfather to keep her alive.” Luo Qiu spoke quietly, “According to the circumstances at that time, the entire promise is effective today. Furthermore, Viscount Fernandis, don’t you think it’s very impolite to easily extend your hand to a lady?”

“Who are you to dare block me? Courting death!” Viscount Fernandis snorted coldly, clenching his other hand into a fist!

“Ancestor, he’s the blood servant I’ve chosen, hold back!” Xitacil shouted in distress.

But it was already too late, as Viscount Fernandis mercilessly punched toward Luo Qiu’s face.

“Luo Qiu—!” Xitacil screamed in anguish.

Queen Elizabeth fearfully shut her eyes, as for Zhong Luoyue who completely trembled uncontrollably, she couldn’t do anything, only staring blankly, instinctively thinking that with Viscount Fernandis’s terrifying power, this punch would probably blow Luo Qiu’s head right off.

Bang—!!!

A loud sound.

After the loud sound, there was silence.

Queen Elizabeth paused and then slowly opened her eyes, but what she feared didn’t happen…the fist was stopped in front of Luo Qiu, as if it hit an invisible wall.

She didn’t think Viscount Fernandis restrained himself, instead, his fist was trembling continuously, clearly intensifying the power in his punch—actually, his fist couldn’t penetrate to Luo Qiu’s body by a few inches.

“Viscount Fernandis.” Luo Qiu said expressionlessly, “Violence is not the best way to solve problems. I roughly understand your concerns. However, I think I am capable of keeping secrets. The matter of your resurrection won’t be disclosed from me, and whatever you want to do, I have no interest in interferring. Could you…stop? I only plan to take Queen Elizabeth to her grandfather’s burial site.”

Unexpectedly, Viscount Fernandis sneered, “Didn’t expect to wake up and encounter a powerful individual…your blood must taste excellent, might bring me to another peak, grant me the strongest power of the Fourth Generation! May even…make me the Third Generation!! My luck is truly amazing!”

His fangs suddenly extended, and his entire body emitted terrifying blood-red steam. The power in his fists increased several times, even tenfold.

He no longer persisted in pursuing Queen Elizabeth, but instead let go of both hands, transforming them into fists, and frantically pounding on Luo Qiu—yet, no matter how he struck, he could never shatter the invisible shield in front of Luo Qiu.

“Viscount Fernandis, are you really not going to consider my suggestion?”

“I refuse to believe I can’t break your shell! Today, I will drain you dry!”

“I understand,” Luo Qiu nodded, “You should return to your original state.”

Luo Qiu snapped his fingers.

The sound was faint, much less intense than the boom produced by Viscount Fernandis’s fists. Yet, it could be clearly heard.

“What… What did you do to me?!!”

Viscount Fernandis suddenly stopped and retreated a few steps, his face full of terror. His body began to undergo an irregular transformation; the skin he had just grown started to rapidly rot, revealing the bright red flesh beneath.

His body began to seep a large amount of blood – this blood was being continuously stripped from within him.

Viscount Fernandis only felt his power being crazily extracted.

“What did you do to me!!!!” he screamed in horror, his flesh beginning to wither, transforming back to its dried corpse form.

“Return to slumber.”

Where Viscount Fernandis was standing, the floor suddenly cracked open, and dirt spilled out as if his body was slowly sinking into a swamp.

“I don’t want to slumber! I don’t want to! I don’t want! I’ve just woken up! I’m the strongest bloodsucker of the Fernandis Family! I don’t want!!!”

Returning to his dried corpse state, Viscount Fernandis screamed in terror, eventually pleading, “I won’t oppose you! I won’t oppose you again! Don’t strip me of my power… Please!!!”

His palm, the palm he had left, finally sank into the swamp, until only a bit of red light flew out from it.

The red light was absorbed into Luo Qiu’s palm, finally turning into a drop of blood.

Luo Qiu said calmly, “Actually, I’ve never liked troublesome things. It’s better to solve them once and for all.”

The swamp vanished instantly, reverting back to the original hard floor, as if it had never cracked. Yet, Viscount Fernandis had disappeared, as if he had never existed.

“Ah… Xitacil is gone.”

Freed from the restraint of Viscount Fernandis, the High Rank bloodsucker, Queen Elizabeth quickly recovered, while Zhong Luoyue, though pale, regained some strength.

“Forget him.” Luo Qiu shook his head, “It should be just ahead, let’s go.”

Queen Elizabeth silently nodded, then subconsciously grabbed Luo Qiu’s coat corner, but as Luo Qiu glanced back, she let go timidly.

Luo Qiu thought for a moment, then the drop of blood in his hand suddenly transformed into a red gemstone. He handed it to Queen Elizabeth, “Here, take this.”

“This is…” Queen Elizabeth held the blood-red gemstone with both hands.

She could feel it contained an immensely powerful force… This was likely the Origin Power of Viscount Fernandis condensed— even if he revived in the future, his power wouldn’t amount to much.

Perhaps not much better than a newborn… But Queen Elizabeth suspected that Viscount Fernandis might not even be able to resurrect at all…

“It’s too precious, I… I shouldn’t take it.”

“Given the situation just now, this will help you survive better,” Luo Qiu said casually, “It’s something ready-made; there’s no loss for me. I’ve always preferred comfort, so take it.”

Zhong Luoyue bowed her head and approached Luo Qiu, looking as if she wanted to say something but hesitated, “Have I already…”

“You know it in your heart, don’t you?” Luo Qiu looked at her and said.

Zhong Luoyue’s lips moved, her hand touching her neck. She felt the world spinning, her strength drained, and with a thump, she collapsed to the ground, dejected.

“Sister, are you okay?” Queen Elizabeth crouched down and gently patted Zhong Luoyue’s shoulder.

Unexpectedly, Zhong Luoyue suddenly knocked Queen Elizabeth’s hand away, hugging herself and trembling, “Don’t… don’t touch me!”

Queen Elizabeth helplessly looked up at Luo Qiu.

“Let her be quiet for a while.”

Luo Qiu didn’t interfere… He wasn’t someone who meddled in others’ affairs, whether now or before.

…

…

Hiss… hiss…

Jets of airflow spewed from the instrument’s valves, and at the same time, the interior of the apparatus suddenly opened— meanwhile, the control panel of the instrument displayed a giant “complete.”

Uncle Jin trembled as he reached into the instrument’s interior, slowly retrieving something.

A test tube, containing approximately a few dozen milliliters of pale green liquid.

But at the same time, the laboratory wall suddenly cracked open, revealing a monster like a leech, which had somehow attached itself to the fractured wall.

Its tentacles waved in the air.

Viscount Fernandis blew up one of Takizawa’s clones, but in fact, there was another clone— the one kicked away by Song Er.

It didn’t remain at the scene; after sensing Viscount Fernandis, it blew up half of itself and hurriedly slipped away, eventually arriving here.
