Chapter 890: Chapter 134: Bonds of the Immortals (Part 1)

Zhong Luoyue didn’t know exactly how powerful Viscount Fernandis was, she didn’t have a clear concept of Fernandis’ strength—she knew nothing about this Transcendent power.

But there was one thing she could sense, and that was if there was no Luo Qiu, this Viscount Fernandis would be the most powerful.

He easily defeated Karen, who had transformed into Tu Shenyi, and when he made his move, even Queen Elizabeth couldn’t move.

Also, Xitacil’s silence after being reprimanded was further proof of Viscount Fernandis’ strength and terror.

Yet at this moment, Zhong Luoyue was thinking that Luo Qiu, who was more terrifying than this horrifying bloodsucker Viscount Fernandis, was indeed contrary to her usual way of dealing with matters.

He seemed to have a good temper, but who knows what his preferences are, and where he might hit his anger points?

Zhong Luoyue felt fear towards a man for the first time in her life, akin to being sent to the military for training as a youth, facing the burly instructors.

The iron-blooded instructors did not show mercy just because they were children of the Boss Zhong, instead relentlessly pushing the three siblings to exhaustion.

Invincible.

Even when calculating her wealth, Zhong Luoyue felt unbeatable… This Transcendent power might completely ignore the ‘Divine Power’ that she possessed in the eyes of ordinary people.

Seeing Zhong Luoyue’s panic-stricken appearance, Luo Qiu was considering whether to pitch something as Elizabeth suddenly walked over to Zhong Luoyue’s side, helping her up, “Don’t worry, sister, bloodsuckers aren’t as terrifying as you think. Actually, among us, there’s even a significant portion who are pacifists.”

“Are you joking?” Zhong Luoyue asked instinctively.

Elizabeth said seriously, “Although I don’t know exactly what the origin of bloodsuckers is, but undoubtedly, we also live in this world and are part of it. We have wisdom, we think, apart from needing blood and having stronger power than ordinary people, our behavior is similar to humans. Since various ideologies exist among humans, why can’t we have them?”

Zhong Luoyue opened her mouth but had to admit that Elizabeth’s argument was persuasive.

Elizabeth gave her a comforting look, “Rest assured, I’ll teach you some knowledge about bloodsuckers so you won’t feel Confusion towards them.”

Seeing this, Luo Qiu dismissed his idea of a pitch… Perhaps observing this Ms. Ren from the tomb-robbing family in the future would be interesting.

Zhong Luoyue hadn’t fully transformed yet, but her elder, Lady Eve, had already been tragically killed by Song Da, meaning she had no guide anymore. If Elizabeth were willing to take on this role, at least it would be a good thing for Zhong Luoyue.

Luo Qiu didn’t reveal this but observed with interest Elizabeth’s tender persuasion to Zhong Luoyue… This child might have suddenly found something meaningful to do.

“…Remember, initially, it’s not recommended to directly consume fresh human blood.”

Teacher Elizabeth narrated to Zhong Luoyue, seemingly forgetting the pain of losing family, “Because for newcomers, directly consuming fresh human blood, although it will quickly accumulate power, it will also more easily cause your body to accumulate unnecessary elements, making you lose your true self more easily, causing you confusion during hunting nights.”

Zhong Luoyue didn’t have the heart to continue listening but forced herself to… At least she wasn’t entirely resistant to Elizabeth.

“…The main things you need to remember are probably these points.” Elizabeth paused, “As for the clan information, considering all about your Thirteen Clans, we’ll discuss it later. But there is one thing I hope you will always keep in mind.”

“Tell me,” Zhong Luoyue nodded.

Elizabeth said solemnly, “That is, no matter what happens, no matter how much pain you suffer, even if you feel lonely, desperate… you absolutely cannot commit suicide.”

“Why?” Zhong Luoyue was puzzled.

Elizabeth slowly said, “We can live forever, which is our greatest gift. However, suicide is self-abandonment of eternal life, which is the biggest betrayal of this gift. The soul of a suicide will not find redemption, it will suffer the curse of the origin of all bloodsuckers’ bloodline, wandering eternally in an ocean of pain and regret. You may think you are dead after suicide, but you will never know that your consciousness will continue to exist and be imprisoned eternally in the abyss of despair… So, remember, absolutely do not become a suicide.”

Zhong Luoyue nodded with a heavy expression and suddenly thought of what Viscount Fernandis had said to Karen, “Now that you mention it, I suddenly recall that Viscount Fernandis said Karen was seeking death, but he would not kill her. I always wondered why, if she truly seeks death, there are many methods to achieve it, why require another to kill you, unless the consequence of suicide is unbearable?”

“Probably.”

Elizabeth nodded, “Honestly, I also can’t understand why Mr. Tu Shenyi suddenly became Miss Karen… I remember Mr. Tu Shenyi and Miss Karen once had a dispute, after which I haven’t seen them appearing together… Of course, there weren’t many gatherings of the participants of the True Blood project back then. And if I happened to be asleep, my grandfather would directly excuse my absence.”

“What exactly is the relationship between Tu Shenyi and Karen?” Luo Qiu suddenly asked.

Elizabeth quickly looked at Luo Qiu, “Tu Shenyi is the one whom Karen gave the initial embrace to. From what I know, Tu Shenyi was a gambling expert back then, very popular, with all major casinos vying to recruit him. But Tu Shenyi never accepted any offers. However, his existence was a major instability for major casinos worldwide, so he had many enemies. When Ms. Karen gave him the initial embrace, Tu Shenyi was being pursued by enemies and was already dying.”

“So, Karen saved him,” Zhong Luoyue interjected.

“Yes.” Elizabeth nodded, “Mr. Tu Shenyi and I have had several conversations. He gave me the impression of being an elegant gentleman… but he never seemed happy; I always sensed he had some sadness unknown to outsiders.”

But Zhong Luoyue shook her head, “Even knowing this, we still don’t know why Karen would disguise herself as Tu Shenyi and host this wine tasting… Is it just for seeking death?”

Elizabeth shook her head in Confusion.

Her worldview is quite simple; she spent most of her time sleeping, though she did receive formal education, albeit under Amunst’s supervision.

Amunst, as a former Knight of the Round Table, would naturally be flawless in character, teaching Elizabeth more about honesty and integrity, with little Deceit.

This naturally differs from children trained by clans like Ms. Ren. Indeed, if Zhong Luoyue had not raised the question, Elizabeth wouldn’t have considered deeper thoughts.

Because the long lifespan given to bloodsuckers provides them the patience to wait for the truth to emerge. Matters unknown now might be known in the future, so there’s no need to worry much.

While thinking, Elizabeth suddenly changed her expression, staring outside the door.

She seemed startled, with a hint of fear, “Something… Some evil thing has appeared.”

Luo Qiu gave Elizabeth a curious glance, “Your sense is quite shrewd.”

Elizabeth then said, “My, my talent is Mental Induction, so I can more easily perceive nearby matters.”

“It’s not good to reveal your abilities so easily.” Luo Qiu shook his head.

“It, it’s alright…” Elizabeth murmured.

“It couldn’t be that Viscount Fernandis has emerged again, could it?” Zhong Luoyue asked worriedly—because Elizabeth had referred to Viscount Fernandis as an evil Power not long ago.

“No…” Queen Elizabeth quickly shook her head and said, “That is an evil force, and this is an evil will… It’s chaotic, seems to be a collection of hatred and despair, pain, and so on.”

A roar suddenly came.

The sound seemed to penetrate all the passages of the Dungeon Maze, just as Queen Elizabeth said, it was a sound that made people feel pain, despair, and fear after hearing it.

“Take a look.”

Luo Qiu casually said.

…

…

Song Da was only able to barely move with the support of Song Er and Song San.

As a human martial artist, having fought against a bloodsucker, Song Da felt that he could boast about this for a lifetime — of course, the premise was that he would be able to leave this place alive.

“Ahda, do you think we bet on the wrong path? Why does this road seem endless, always going down?” Song Er couldn’t help but frown at this time.

The path the three brothers were walking was the passageway Song Da had mentioned finding ‘unintentionally.’

According to Song Da, this was a channel he exposed when he accidentally broke a wall while fighting zombies before escaping and encountering the old witch monster.

“It indeed goes downward.” Song San confirmed without any doubt.

“Isn’t that obvious! We’re on stairs. Stairs going downward!” Song Da looked at his two brothers with frustration.

“So… should we head back?”

The three brothers began to discuss — however, at this time, a terrifying roar suddenly came, causing the three abandoned Shaolin disciples’ scalps to numb instantly.

Song Er unknowingly stepped on something, and the stairway in front of him suddenly folded into a spiral slide in the blink of an eye.

“Oh damn!!!”

The brothers screamed several times, and their bodies began sliding down rapidly along this spiral slide.

Finally, this seemingly endless long ladder reached its end, but the inertia of Song Da and the others did not disappear, and their bodies continued to slide on flat ground for quite a long distance.

However, a giant door appeared in front of them, and they were about to crash into this giant door!

“Brake, brake!!!” Song Er couldn’t help crying out in fear; he didn’t want to crash and bleed.

“I want to brake too; you tell me, how to brake!!” Song San shouted angrily.

“Let me!” Song Da shouted at this moment, “You all hold onto me… Golden Virgin Boy Technique!!”

“Pro, Prostate Brake… Ahda, I admire you! Truly a man who’s been single for over forty years!!”

Song Er exclaimed, and the brothers narrowly stopped in front of the giant door.

The few of them breathed a sigh of relief, and after regaining some strength, they got up and began to examine this giant door buried so deep underground—this door was not rough; seemingly made of some kind of sturdy wood.

“This door can be opened; you guys use some force.” Song San exclaimed in surprise after studying for a while.

Song Da nodded, then frowned and walked forward two steps, only feeling a burst of piercing pain between his legs, but some sufferings are not easily spoken by men.

He placed his hands on the giant door, while Song Er and Song San stood at his sides, and the three pushed forcefully together. Suddenly, a rumbling sound was heard as the door was pushed open enough for someone to enter.

The brothers carefully slipped into the giant door, and suddenly saw a light illuminate on both sides of the wall.

It turned out to be fire basins installed on the wall.

Subsequently, two flames shot out from these fire basins, extending along the wall, igniting one fire basin after another.

The two flames finally converged in front of the brothers, leapt out, and fell into a giant torch, lighting it up there too, making the entire interior as bright as daylight.

“What a refined setup.” Song San exclaimed at this moment, and his gaze couldn’t move away.

Because, under the illumination of the firelight, the entire room emitted a dazzling golden glow!

On both sides of the room were piled full with gold coins and gems spilling out from huge wooden boxes! There were also splendidly ornate Treasured Swords!

Pearls, agates, and gems were hidden among this large amount of gold and silver coins, shining brightly.

“Holy crap… might we have stumbled into the treasure vault of those bloodsucking monsters?”

Seeing this enormous treasure right in front of them, Song Er instinctively wiped his eyes. He quickly picked up a gold coin, bit it with his mouth, “It’s really gold… but the purity is low.”

“Idiot, this treasure probably has some history, given the old technology, creating high-purity gold would be impossible! However, the value of these gold coins is not in their material but in their history!” Song San quickly said.

And Song Da was frowning at this moment, walking towards the center of the room, where he found something on a pedestal.

It was an ancient scroll.
