Three Towers Game

Chapter 1198: Chapter 374: Yun Xinghe’s Killing Blow

Tang Zhe showed interest.

”How to break through?”

Wen Xishu straightforwardly gave the conclusion:

”Interests, diplomacy, using diplomacy to break through.”

Tang Zhe said, ”But you no longer have diplomacy.”

Tang Zhe knew Wen Xishu’s strength wasn’t in computational power but in keen observation and event dynamics projection ability.

Wen Xishu thought for a moment and said:

”My lack of diplomacy concerns the boss, not the employees.”

”Let’s discuss two things, shall we? First, haven’t you found it strange, Tang Zhe, why our score is higher than others, yet when Yun Xinghe from Zone A launched an attack on us... the verdict was successful?”

”Oh, you’re not the boss; I should tell you first. Simply put, in the options a boss has, there’s a feature called ’expedition’ that involves a verdict. The success mechanism of the verdict lies in scores.”

”Only companies with higher scores can successfully conduct expeditions against those with lower scores.”

Tang Zhe knew about expeditions but didn’t realize there was such a rule.

With this rule in mind, Tang Zhe found it unreasonable:

”Indeed, we have over a hundred points; how can someone with eighty-something points set out against us?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Did you notice a detail?”

”Not long ago, when our company score was 9.6, to stabilize Li Weiwei’s morale, I gave her 3.6 points.”

”Logically, after giving away those 3.6 points, I should have only 6 points left.”

”However, if you look at the stats, it shows a cumulative score of 9.6 points.”

Tang Zhe understood:

”In other words, the stats reflect extra points from employees and extra points from the boss. Are these two any different?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Yes.”

”Condition one, Zone A’s cumulative score is lower than Zone C’s, yet Zone A can strike Zone C.”

”Condition two, scores are divided into those held by the boss and personal scores of employees.”

”So the conclusion is, the true verdict result is based on the points held by the boss.”

”Undoubtedly, Yun Xinghe keeps all his points to himself, but I didn’t; after yesterday’s overtime, I distributed all the points among everyone.”

”In my hand, only seven points remain.”

”Let’s assume, the money in the boss’s hand in a company, what’s it called? It’s called company assets. The money in the employees’ hands is called employee personal assets.”

”Company assets are used to run the company, deciding purchases and expeditions, while employee personal assets empower employees to fight risks.”

”When employee personal assets are abundant, an employee can afford not to work for a day without actual repercussions, using personal points to offset daily maintenance costs.”

”In other words, personal points are an employee’s salary, truly given when it reaches the employee’s hand; only then will an employee feel their safety is guaranteed.”

Tang Zhe listened intently. He grasped the first issue why Yun Xinghe can successfully launch expeditions.

But he was eager to know:

”So, you seem to speak at length. Clearly, you’re not just explaining why he can conduct expeditions, are you?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Of course.”

”Tell me, employee money is clearly personal points, boss money is clearly company points, why in the game stats are they combined?”

Tang Zhe didn’t know; he simply shook his head.

Wen Xishu said:

”Because, the salary a boss gives employees isn’t leaving the boss’s hand; it’s inherently belonging to employees.”

”In other words, in the game default setting, bosses and employees are on the same side; they are not opposing forces.”

”Employees work for the boss for the game to culminate in victory, and correspondingly, bosses must pay employees ensuring their safety.”

”Everyone is united, a single entity. It’s an intriguing game tendency, isn’t it?”

Tang Zhe remained puzzled:

”Okay, I know you have a ... somewhat Savior-like style as a boss, yearning for harmony and survival for everyone. It’s quite idealistic.”

”However, I still don’t understand how this relates to defeating Zone A and overcoming the current predicament.”

Wen Xishu said:

”The most fascinating part of this game is its hidden rules, yet upon scrutinizing, they reveal a chain-reaction.”

”Tang Zhe, my second question: what do you think signifies Zone A losses, leading to its demise? Mind you, I speak of Zone A, not Yun Xinghe.”

Tang Zhe said:

”When daily acquired scores fail to offset populace maintenance points, leading to overall survival failure, that’s defeat. Zone B is the example.”

Wen Xishu shook his head:

”Not rigorous. You’re likening someone dying from drowning to conclude humans only die from drowning.”

”One cannot deduce team extinction solely from insufficient scores because Zone B perished that way.”

Tang Zhe seemed to understand:

”You think there are other ways for a team to perish, but how do you prove it?”

Wen Xishu said:

”We must return to our initial inquiry. Employees and bosses mutually benefit. Employees and bosses are a shared interest entity, sharing the same lifeboat.”

”If a boss doesn’t feel this way, he’s a bad boss doomed to exploit employees.”

”If employees don’t feel this way... well, their loyalty and work enthusiasm are likely low.”
