Three Towers Game

Chapter 1189: Chapter 370: Yunlang’s Ingenious Plan for Peace (Part 3)

Is he stupid?

So Tang Zhe immediately asked the critical question:

”How do you plan to convince Zone D?”

”Moreover, what will you do if our people go to Zone D, get swayed by Lorenzo, and are unwilling to resign and return to Zone C?”

”By doing this, aren’t you essentially sending Lorenzo people? And people with very high DR and HP values at that.”

”With such people, Lorenzo can easily devour Zone A. If you send all the employees over, Lorenzo could easily persuade them, arrange for everyone to work overtime, gaining points quickly, which would enable them to easily suppress Zone A.”

”He could directly declare victory.”

”Why would he help you?”

Wen Xishu was somewhat disappointed:

”Xiaozhe, how can your math talent be so great, yet so poor in the game-playing aspect?”

”Do I need to convince Lorenzo?”

”I just need to let him know that HP is justice, or rather, manpower is the score. No, I don’t even need to let him know, he surely knows that himself.”

Manpower equals score...

Tang Zhe’s mind raced, and he suddenly understood.

Yes, there’s no need to convince Lorenzo; Lorenzo has no choice but to cooperate. As long as Lorenzo isn’t foolish, he must realize... he currently can’t defeat Zone A.

Tang Zhe was a little impressed with Wen Xishu:

”You’re really something, Boss Wen.”

Wen Xishu said:

”If I rashly let everyone resign and go to Zone D in one go, I’d be courting disaster. Assuming Lorenzo’s traits are inclined towards persuasion as a kind of superpower...”

”Then, if I send all my employees, they’re bound to be directly swayed by Lorenzo, and my assets would be devoured in one bite.”

”But suppose I only exchange one person at a time?”

”What if I tell Lorenzo that if he doesn’t send my people back and doesn’t allocate points, the rest of my people will be sent to Zone A?”

”I send one person over, who will allocate overtime points to my people, and only after this person returns will I send the second person.”

”Otherwise, I will directly forfeit and let them go to Zone A.”

”In game theory, a double loss is better than a single loss.”

Tang Zhe nodded, it was flawless.

Population is wealth, wealth is deterrence.

First, send one person over, explain the stakes, and then start the population exchange. If Lorenzo absorbs people, Wen Xishu’s side would directly use population deterrence, utilizing manpower resources to bolster Zone A.

In this way, Zone D could no longer have any potential to defeat Zone A, which possesses over seventy people, nearly half of whom are healthy with high DR values.

”I might not survive, but if you don’t help me, I can ensure you don’t survive either.”

”And if you help me, once we solve Zone A, we can compete based on our own abilities, thereafter.”

This is diplomacy.

Tang Zhe said:

”I’m willing to go, and I believe you’re telling me this to allow me to clearly state the stakes to Lorenzo.”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Then, I entrust this to you. I will return Lorenzo’s points, let him know, these points are just borrowed. As you can see from my average treatment of employees, I’m a pacifist.”

Tang Zhe nodded:

”Don’t worry, Boss Wen, I will ensure the task is completed.”

...

...

Time rewinds to the early hours of the sixth day.

As Yun Xinghe saw the score of Zone D, he finally understood what was going on.

Zone C: A total of 30 points. Minus population expenses, 1 point remaining (Cumulative 10.6 points over five days)

Zone D: A total of 40 points, minus population expenses, 10 points remaining (Cumulative 20 points over five days).

Zone D actually transferred 29 points to Zone C! Has Zone D gone crazy? Why isn’t Zone D thinking of eliminating Zone C?

At that moment, Yun Xinghe suddenly received a message.

To be precise, it was a message from Zone C that was released to the entire Zone A.

[Zone C declares to Zone A: Zone C has no overtime today, not even work, what a pleasant day. Friends of Zone A, how are your livers holding up? Zone C gains population points even without overtime, want to give it a try?]

The elegance and composure on Yun Xinghe’s face were long gone, replaced by anger and malice.

Clark Kent watched this scene, thinking to himself that things were bad...

The military’s morale was now unstable, and DR values were bound to drop.

So far, the pitfalls of dropping DR values haven’t fully manifested, as it has only been a few days, seemingly generating only some minor distractions.

But no one knows, after this expedition fails... what level the DR values will drop to, and what will happen if those values become too low.

At the same time, Clark Kent also realized one thing... the atmosphere.

Namely, the company’s stance, its inclination.

If a company’s stance and inclination are filled with hostility, if it continually expands until war...

The company may not perform poorly, but it will inevitably provoke alliances among those who desire peace.

Why Zone D would give points to Zone C to help Zone C deal with Zone A, Clark Kent doesn’t know all the logical details.

But...

If it were his choice, he would also ally with Zone C to solve Zone A. Because zone A’s disposition is just too obvious.

Simultaneously, feeling the pain from his own life value loss, he suddenly...

Began to miss Wen Xishu’s team a little. It truly was an outstanding team, where everyone survived, and everyone lived quite well.

When pain comes, points no longer seem important, how many days has it been? Over twenty more days still lie ahead, can his body really endure?

If HP is less than 0, do points still matter?

Maybe someone like Boss Wen is the only correct solution? I really envy them... In facing such a crisis, not only did they avoid overtime, but they didn’t even have to go to work, merely had to go to Zone D for a formality.

This is a strategy that could only be devised by a boss absolutely against making people work overtime, right?

The ethos of this company is far from apocalyptic, and ironically, at this very moment, it becomes desirable.

”If I went back... would they despise me?”
