Three Towers Game

Chapter 1172: Chapter 365: Resolving the Internal Crisis

The internal affairs include forcing employees to work overtime and handling overtime applications, as well as score distribution.

Additionally, internal affairs can consume points to purchase things unrelated to Life Value.

These things are quite evil, and not only that, they are extremely cheap.

For example, stimulants.

It only costs five points, surprisingly sufficient for the day, and once it’s used on employees, their dr value will increase significantly.

Moreover, employees won’t feel depleted due to the decrease in Life Value.

There are even advanced stimulants that can prevent employees from seeing their Life bar.

But Wen Xishu did not spend points to buy these things.

The essence of these items is to make people overlook the loss of Life Value during overtime, inevitably someone will desire these things.

Wen Xishu’s current problem is how to deal with tomorrow’s crisis.

Tomorrow, the Zone C team will have an overall efficiency drop to eighty percent.

The boss is not affected, so normally, tomorrow’s total gain will be 23.2 points.

23.2 points, plus Wen Xishu’s own two points, which is 25.2 points, Wen Xishu can only ensure twenty-five people survive.

This is in the ideal state, given that humans have thoughts. This calculation is too simple, probably only Turte can’t figure it out. But even if he can’t, Turte has social skills.

What can’t be calculated can also be asked and discussed.

People can’t rigidly accept death.

If five people know they are doing the same work, and still destined to die... will they work?

Gotta work overtime.

There’s no doubt that everyone has to work overtime tomorrow.

Wen Xishu is somewhat resistant to overtime.

He found that overtime might be a Pandora’s box. The dr value, or drive, after the first overtime, even with an additional six hours...

Surprisingly also increases.

In other words, after working overtime, there is a growing desire to do more overtime.

But now, for survival, Wen Xishu has no choice but to choose overtime.

An hour yields 0.5 points, if everyone works overtime for an hour, it can generate 14.5 points, considering Shen Changfeng’s hp is already insufficient, Wen Xishu decided not to let Shen Changfeng work overtime.

That’s 14 points.

Wen Xishu frowned, no, it’s not fourteen points, to be specific, it’s 11.2 points. Because overtime also gets discounted.

But with these 11.2 points, Wen Xishu can effortlessly handle the upcoming crisis.

He quickly started preparing tomorrow’s internal policy strategy.

From two in the morning until six, arguably rest time, but at this moment 117 people, across four teams, almost everyone was awake.

Because once a new day starts, those who want to resign and switch jobs must wait till the next day.

If wanting to move to a new team, it must be done before the day starts.

Wen Xishu originally planned to finish his internal strategy and then invite Tang Zhe, the calculating genius, to assist in some thorough analysis...

But soon, he faced some other troubles.

Clark Kent arrived.

”Boss Wen, I admire your ability to wield the monster-like bullet screen power of Mo’en City, and your defeat of the Red House makes me extremely impressed.”

”You’re a good boss, but you rejected my overtime application. I need points, a lot of points.”

”Three Towers Company seems like an adventure, one that could change my destiny.”

Wen Xishu understood Clark’s meaning:

”No need for so much groundwork, just say it directly, do you want to resign?”

Clark nodded:

”Yes, my physical strength far exceeds everyone’s, don’t be fooled by Shen Changfeng’s ability to survive without food or water, for when it comes to enduring in body and will, he might not be stronger than me.”

”In this team competition, I should be the ace, forgive me, for I am a selfish person too, hoping to head to a place of high-intensity internal competition where everyone fiercely contends.”

”I don’t want my points being distributed to the weak.”

Wen Xishu sighed:

”Clark, you’re very smart, you made a great impression during the boss selection phase, you’re not just a muscle-bound guy, you have analytical skills too.”

”But why can’t you figure it out?”

”The rules of this game aren’t clearly defined, the fluctuation algorithm of dr value fundamentally unknown, every day recovers five hp, but that’s just the cost of normal work...”

”You don’t seriously think overtime hp can recover too?”

Clark waved his hand:

”That’s not important, Boss Wen, how could there be no bloodshed? My body is strong, I believe even with just one point of hp, I can keep working.”

”As long as at that moment, I stop in time.”

”I want to become the one with the highest score.”

Wen Xishu said:

”Then you can try crazy overtime tomorrow, I permit you to do overtime.”

Clark sneered:

”And then distribute the points to those with less workload than me?”

Wen Xishu remained silent.

Indeed, Wen Xishu seems to be an ”egalitarian.”

Clark stretched out his hand:

”Boss Wen, actually your ability doesn’t suit being a boss, but rather an employee, you can use Shadow to do overtime. Maybe that’s the cheat method that suits you.”

Wen Xishu thought to himself, you really know how to exploit, eh? Thanks a lot for Shadow, kid.

He shook his head:

”Looks like our philosophies don’t align.”

Clark said frankly:

”Zone A is more suited for me, I know people die in that area, but I have to go.”

Wen Xishu knew he couldn’t retain Clark, but he wasn’t the same self-guarded Wen Xishu of the past anymore.

Having gone through many apocalyptic baptisms, Wen Xishu gradually became somewhat sentimental:
