Three Towers Game

Chapter 1180: Chapter 367: Li Weiwei’s High-Value Tactics (Part 2)

Gao Lele’s Life Value has not been restored; he has the lowest Life Value among everyone.

However, the increase in dr value made Gao Lele extremely excited.

Wen Xishu observed all of this and confirmed one thing—

dr value is the work state; the higher the dr value, the more proactive the work.

When the dr value reaches a certain level, it might ignore the consumption of Life Value. It makes people unable to feel the pain from Life Value consumption.

In internal affairs, Wen Xishu can see stimulants, which are used to increase dr value.

He found it a bit strange.

”Something’s off. Currently, it seems that hp is hard to increase, but dr is too easy to raise?”

”I tested with Shen Changfeng, and after overtime, Shen Changfeng’s dr value increased.”

”Yesterday, to respond to the expedition in Zone A, I made everyone work overtime. After the overtime, everyone’s dr value increased, nearly averaging up to 105.”

”Today, I arranged for Li Weiwei to motivate everyone, and people’s dr value could still rise.”

”dr is not loyalty; loyalty is hidden data that needs to be grasped personally.”

”But it must be said, when dr is high, people don’t think about betraying you.”

”This is good, but currently, dr value seems too easy to increase.”

”With it being so easy to raise...”

”Even the items in the internal affairs shop are also used to increase dr value.”

This is very strange, just like finding you’re in a place full of water sources, and the nearby convenience store mostly sells water as well.

Wen Xishu perceived the irrationality.

”Zone A can make people work overtime like crazy due to high dr value and various strategies...and item consumption.”

”Tang Zhe and I figured out one thing, Zone A triggered rules we haven’t discovered.”

”Zone A attacked our Zone C on the first day probably to prevent us from triggering this rule.”

”Could this rule be related to overtime?”

”The conclusion now is—working overtime to a certain extent can acquire rules favorable to the overtime workers.”

”Continuous expeditions, from initially reducing the opponent’s score by 5.8 points to reducing by 30 points, show that some favorable rules to attackers can be acquired.”

”Therefore, when you exhibit a certain tendency...”

”It is likely to trigger some favorable rule of that tendency.”

”Now everyone is working overtime, the effect of overtime is an increase in dr value.”

”But if the dr value keeps increasing, the products should not include those that increase dr value.”

”Thus, the dr value must eventually decrease, the cause of which is likely also overtime!”

Wen Xishu felt he found something interesting.

He concluded that later on, dr value would definitely plummet. Otherwise, all settings would seem unreasonable.

If the game could parallel reality...in reality, indeed some people, initially seeing huge goals, gain motivation from overtime.

But if they keep working overtime? This motivation fades away, and over time, they might even develop aversion to work.

This aversion could further evolve into disdain for life, for existence.

This is reality; there’s no such thing as the more overtime you do, the more you want to do, showing that you simply can’t get enough.

Unless their boss is Pei Qian.

So, Wen Xishu can be confident, since the game’s cycle is thirty days...

In such a long cycle, with monotonous work content and clear reduction in Life Value due to overtime...

All of this sufficiently hints at the role of dr value.

”If my tendency is for no overtime or minimal overtime, keeping dr value steadily increasing...”

”Then what kind of reward will I receive?”

Wen Xishu already had a clear direction.

...

...

Night descends.

It’s six o’clock in the evening.

This is the time to get off work, and today’s yield for Wen Xishu was the most normal because there was no expedition: 28+2, 30 points.

After deducting the 29 points for population maintenance, Wen Xishu’s team had 8.6 points remaining.

All these points are in Wen Xishu’s hands. Nobody had issues, since yesterday not working overtime means death.

Wen Xishu also promised to take from the masses and use for the masses regarding the surplus points.

If it were other bosses, they’d likely clutch these points tightly.

After all, as long as hp is greater than 0, one can live. With this condition met, everyone speculated that the one with the highest points would be the ultimate winner and be recruited by Three Towers Company.

But Wen Xishu and Tang Zhe do not see it that way.

Though they don’t, Wen Xishu doesn’t explain either.

He enjoys the certain admiration everyone has for points.

Because that way, he can better gather people’s support.

After working hours ended, Shen Changfeng, Gao Lele, and others sent overtime applications.

Wen Xishu rejected them one by one:

”All self-initiated overtime applications are rejected; our company doesn’t allow overtime unless under commercial attack by hostile groups, initiating mandatory overtime otherwise is prohibited.”

”Employees’ lives and health are above everything. Cherish life; don’t let points fall short compared to others and end up losing your life.”

All those who sent overtime applications received this reply.

Undeniably, this reply was very precise.

Because everyone could easily think of one thing...

Now even if you work overtime, your points would not surpass those from other companies.

Thus, if the point theory stands, then as someone with lesser qualifications than the opponent and working less hard...

My points cannot exceed the opponent’s, so why should I bother trying?

Subsequently, Wen Xishu allocated 3.6 points to Li Weiwei.

Li Weiwei informed everyone of this, stating she’d distribute the points in her hands to those willing to stay and make efforts with the company.

At the same time, Li Weiwei excelled at that approach...a method known as the ”Poseidon method.”

It’s where everyone knows Li Weiwei seems to interact with many employees, yet everyone feels they are the most special one.

Just like Turte, after Li Weiwei’s movements yesterday, Turte thought:

”The words Weiwei said to me must be those she never told others.”

”Those points are reserved for me; I absolutely can’t leave.”

Many people thought this way.

3.6 points, which needed consuming 40 hp to exchange for them.

It could be considered half a life.

Everyone felt they were the special one, so none wanted to leave. All wanted to seize that half a life.

...

...

Two o’clock in the morning the next day.

The battles of the third day ended.

The second day’s team scores were announced.

Zone A: Acquired 74 points, deducting extra cost and population expense, 2 points remained (48 points accumulated over three days).

Upon seeing this, Wen Xishu became alert. How could it be only 48 points over three days? Note, Zone A accumulated 46 points over two days.

What’s happening with Zone A? No expeditions?

No expeditions mean Zone A saved twenty points.

But under these circumstances, Zone A only accumulated two points?

This is unreasonable. Zone A must have purchased something astonishing.

Zone B: Unable to earn 30 points, B company has gone bankrupt.

Zone A, responsible for defeating Zone B’s main attacker, unlocked additional permissions.

Zone C: Earned 30 points, deducting population expense, 1 point remained (8.6 points accumulated over three days).

Zone D: Earned 39 points, deducting population expense, 9 points remained (31 points accumulated over three days).

This score, Tang Zhe remarked:

”Zone D and Zone A might have an ultimate battle, but hard to say. If I were a calculative boss like Zone D, I’d find your Zone C more concerning.”

”Boss Wen, it’s a tripartite balance now.”

Wen Xishu nodded.

It truly formed a tripartite balance. It is predictable that due to no expeditions, Wen Xishu’s team and Lorenzo’s team from Zone D won’t face attacks.

The more it stayed this way, the more Wen Xishu felt something strange.

”Originally, Zone B had 14 people, 13 were employees, each person’s limit is 4 points, so the limit is 2+13x4, which should be 54 points.”

”When deducted 14 points for population maintenance, it’s 40 points, minus 30 for expedition effect, 10 should remain. And originally, they accumulated 13 points.”

”This means their population is severely low, causing 2+n*4+13
