Three Towers Game

Chapter 1173: Chapter 365: Resolving the Internal Crisis (Part 2)

”I admire everyone who cares for others during the apocalypse. Clark, you are definitely a hero in Mo’en City. Heroes shouldn’t die in vain.”

”This is my final advice... Don’t go to Zone A, go to Zone D. Also, I’ll tell you an extra rule: the boss has a mandatory overtime quota. Mandatory overtime can add up to six hours, in other words, don’t let your Life Value fall below thirty points, you might be worked to death.”

”And, Zone C always welcomes you. If you find it hard to continue, you’re welcome to return to Zone C.”

Clark internally disagrees, Zone A has 70 points, deduct the boss’s 2 points, that’s Zone A at 68 points, with 29 people achieving 68 points. He considers this madness, as in his view, supporting this madness is supporting individual heroism.

In this unfair arena with such huge physical disparities, individual heroism is the correct approach.

But he can sense Wen Xishu’s goodwill, he knows Wen Xishu genuinely doesn’t want him to die:

”Alright.”

[Zone C team member C02, applying to transfer to Zone A.]

[Zone A has accepted. Transfer successful.]

The notification appeared in the minds of everyone on Wen Xishu’s team.

Clark’s transfer worsened Wen Xishu’s situation.

At this moment, Wen Xishu also felt that being a leader was far less comfortable than being a lone wolf.

He suddenly thought... If it were Wenren Mirror, perhaps it would have been handled easily.

He really wants to calculate some accounts for everyone, but alas, his calculation ability is limited and the data conditions are unclear, so far he can’t do the math.

Clark is undoubtedly a fierce general of Zone C.

The resignation of a great general made everyone even more anxious.

Soon, around twenty people gathered in the office area, hoping Wen Xishu would give an explanation.

”Will someone die tomorrow?”

”Boss, will Zone A’s pressure become more exaggerated?”

”Yes, I noticed Zone B isn’t doing well either, has someone died in Zone B? People from Zone B will crazily transfer, right?”

”Zone D too, Zone D scores aren’t as good as Zone A, everyone will move towards high-score areas, Clark has left, surely others will leave too.”

”Zone A... will surely see a surge in people. If Zone A’s population surges, can it initiate consecutive invasions?”

The crowd’s voice was noisy.

Wen Xishu looked at Tang Zhe, who seemed uninterested but was obviously being coerced, coming to make a scene.

Li Weiwei, a fellow candidate for boss, was also curious about how Wen Xishu would respond.

Wen Xishu said:

”Everyone, I have tested through overtime, overtime will deduct five points from Life Value.”

”Shen Changfeng, step forward. Tell everyone, is this data true?”

Shen Changfeng quickly stepped out and nodded.

Wen Xishu continued:

”Yesterday we scored thirty-four points, twenty-nine points came from each of you.”

”Shen Changfeng got three overtime points by working four extra hours, I have two points here, making a total of thirty-four points.”

”But we only have one point left, this one point is the extra point I have as the boss. Where did I use the remaining three points?”

No one knew.

Suddenly, Shen Changfeng remembered:

”That potion?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”I spent all the points you earned to buy a potion for your treatment, now tell everyone, how much did you lose and how much did you recover?”

Shen Changfeng originally felt somewhat unbalanced in his heart, but after thinking it through, he immediately understood:

”I lost thirty points, recovered ten points. The points benefit from overtime is not low, but... but points can be earned, recovering Life Value is very difficult.”

Shen Changfeng’s expression was not precise enough, but the logic was not complicated, everyone quickly understood.

Even Turte realized.

Wen Xishu said:

”Everyone, Life Value is hidden points, but points cannot replace Life Value.”

”Remember the first rule of the game, hp=0, you will die. This seems like nonsense, but it’s the first rule Three Towers Company tells you because it’s the most important rule.”

”My strategy will keep us suppressed for a short period, the next few days will likely be depressing, don’t expect to crush others with points under me.”

”If any of you wish to leave, you can leave. If anyone finds the average distribution unfair, you can choose to leave.”

”But I need to tell you, when you are strong, you will feel it’s unfair. But can you always stay strong?”

”At least with me, your hp consumption is the lowest.”

Wen Xishu’s words were indeed reasonable.

Actually, in the team, besides the few with excellent abilities, who didn’t quite accept the average distribution, others felt somewhat fortunate.

For example, Turte, who wasn’t good with thinking, could only do addition and subtraction, but his score was the same as Tang Zhe, who calculated rocket trajectories.

Some were dissatisfied with average distribution, naturally others rejoiced due to average distribution.

Moreover, Wen Xishu alongside Shen Changfeng clarified a logic.

Even if you have a thousand points, you need at least one hp to win. Without hp, everything is meaningless.

Wen Xishu was not very confident in his speech.

After all...

He knew very well, there must be sudden events in this game.

At this moment, Li Weiwei suddenly realized, this game actually resonates with reality.

Exchanging health for wealth is what you do in the first half of life, if done too aggressively, then later exchanging wealth for health will become filled with regret.

Li Weiwei somewhat understood, Boss Wen rejecting her overtime application had this layer of consideration.
