Three Towers Game

Chapter 1182: Chapter 368: Tower 3 Company Internal Staff (2)

Gua Shisan naturally knew this, and understood the reason:

”It’s probably because that person called Wen Xishu in Zone C has a brand. It’s a mark left by that... strongest Lion among the boss candidates.”

The voice from the electronic screen was silent for a moment, then said: ”Is that so?”

”In terms of straightforward combat strength, it’s quite possible that person could be the future ’boss’.”

”Do you think, if Wen Xishu from Zone C got eliminated, would we have offended the future boss ahead of time?”

”Who knows, it’s hard to guess who the Crown Prince is. Let’s just continue working.”

Gua Shisan looked dispirited again, with a world-weary manner, ignoring the words from the electronic screen, stepping over Alexander’s corpse, and walking towards the darkness in the distance.

...

...

The demise of Zone B did not affect the other zones.

Zone C and Zone D appeared very normal because neither was engaged in warfare by Zone A.

But in Zone A, some people had already started to feel unwell.

Employee number A09, today’s lucky group member, was someone called Zelatan, a fierce warrior under Yun Xinghe.

For the past three consecutive days, Zelatan had been the one working overtime the most frantically.

He worked overtime for a total of 6 hours over three consecutive days. In other words, Zelatan alone created 12 points in those three days.

As expected, Zelatan’s Life Value also dropped to the freezing point.

Within Three Towers Company, when one’s HP drops to the extreme, that person becomes extremely weak. But interestingly, Zelatan didn’t feel weak.

On the first day, Zelatan was just somewhat enthusiastic.

By the second day, Zelatan had become full of energy, even somewhat fanatic.

On the third day, Zelatan began to act crazily. Had he been slightly more rational, he would not have continued to work overtime.

Yet many in Zone A were working overtime crazily, so Zelatan couldn’t accept not working overtime himself.

The dr value began sliding down from its peak, but remained above a hundred. That frenzy and craving for work continued.

Now, it’s the fourth day.

The dr value had already dropped to its original level.

In other words, under the stimulant’s effect, Zelatan’s dr value finally returned to a normal hundred.

If he continued to work overtime, it would surely decrease.

Unless, they gave him another shot of the stimulant.

But Yun Xinghe wouldn’t give Zelatan another stimulant.

Because, in Yun Xinghe’s eyes, Zelatan was no longer valuable—people who lack value aren’t worth using stimulants, even those that cost only five credits in bulk.

On the fourth day, with only 10 HP left, the most frantic point king of the past three days suddenly felt a bit desolate.

He felt that sense of approaching death. Even when working normally, his HP was barely enough to maintain ”living,” and it was clear that Zelatan’s body functions were starting to deteriorate rapidly.

Under the residual effect of the stimulant, he crawled back to his workstation. Working overtime continuously for several days until 2 a.m., with an extremely high dr value, he was unable to sleep at all.

In other words, he had already gone over three days without any sleep.

His dark circles were so heavy they looked like a panda’s, and his whole person presented a sickly state.

Facing such an employee...

Of course, Yun Xinghe couldn’t abandon him, for Zelatan could still work normally.

”Today, I will praise our greatest employee, the point king of the past three days, Zelatan!”

At the morning meeting, besides the usual face-slapping and corporal punishment, Yun Xinghe had also thought of how to use Zelatan’s remaining value.

”Everyone, although half of the people in the points leaderboard over the past three days were very brave, none had stormed ahead like Zelatan.”

”Our new partners should take a good look, Zelatan will be your role model. And now, he is also going to be promoted.”

This statement caused quite a stir.

Evidently, even Zelatan didn’t expect this kind of development.

Yun Xinghe had also considered giving Zelatan a ”loan.” That way, he could keep striving.

But he had long noticed that Zelatan’s work drive, the dr value, was dropping.

Obviously, among the batch of people who took stimulants, he had the highest dosage, yet by today, Zelatan was already starting to return to a normal level of drive.

Considering Zelatan’s Life Value, which had reached the killing line, he knew he had to use policies to stimulate Zelatan and all the employees.

”I have said this before, here, our ideology is based on point supremacy. The one with the highest points can gain privileges.”

”Here with me, working overtime frantically has a purpose; we’re not meaninglessly competing internally.”

”Next, I will have Zelatan, the one who most thoroughly carried out my will over the past three days, take on the role of our team’s honorary member.”

”He will forever be a member of my team. From now on, even if Zelatan does not work overtime and just works normally, I will ensure that, at the final moment, there will be a reasonable amount of points from the points pool used on him. I will ensure that Zelatan will have the highest score among employees.”

”Of course, if you want to be like Zelatan and receive the point rewards from the points pool, you will have to work hard.”

”Show your determination, don’t worry about HP, that’s something I will solve for you. I guarantee, with me, the issue of insufficient HP will not occur.”

”It’s up to you to decide whether you want to continue struggling to survive in the apocalypse, or join me and my honorary members in becoming official employees of Three Towers Company.”
