689: Blood Moon War And Final Approaching.

# Back at Estonia City

The city guards and the clans assigned to defend Estonia City during the Blood moon war took their positions, with the city guards leading the charge in every realm line up.

For the first time since the city’s founding, all low and mid tier battles would be fought at ground level, unlike before when mid tier mages fought high in the air.

This change was prompted by the presence of Tier 7 mages flying just outside the city’s boundaries,.

Just like the mid tier battles being fought on ground level, this would also mark the first time Tier 7 mages would engage in combat during the blood moon on the behalf of the Estonia city,

Since they were fighting the mid ranks can’t join in the air as the shock waves from a tight of such magnitude could cause disastrous death toll to Mid rank mages.

The turnout of Tier 7 mages was so substantial that it left the lower tier mages in shock at the sheer number of Tier 7 mages that had been hiding in the city all this time.

The Tier 7 mages participating in this battle were led by Marcus, the newly promoted city commander.

Estonia City had managed to gather a total of twenty one Tier 7 mages for this engagement, which was surprising to those below.

It had been believed that the city lacked such a strong number of Tier 7 mages, but for many, this was their first realization that their city still possessed significant hidden power.

To make matters even more intriguing, the mages suspected and confirmed to be Tier 7 mages from the Gordons clan were nowhere to be seen, indicating that the city hadn’t unveiled all its potential.

These thoughts raced through the minds of many lower tier mages on the ground; feeling like with such a formidable presence above them, they felt the battle would be over in a flash, even without the number one clan in the city making an appearance.

# Gordons Clan House, Inner Region – Meeting Room

Once again, the elders of the Gordons clan gathered in the meeting room.

As Zack Gordons entered, he bowed his head slightly to show his respect to the clan’s elders before speaking.

“I have confirmed that there are twenty-one Tier 7 mages who have shown up, and as you mentioned, it seems the City Hall might know about or even be involved in the attack against us, seeing such actions they have made would just make it hard for us to discern the main culprit” Zack said, gritting his teeth with his fists clenched.

“Patience, Zack.

I already suspected this.

The city lord feels threatened by us, after all, despite our efforts to remain hidden, we can’t conceal all of our powers from someone who has advanced to the Tier 8 realm,” the Grand Elder replied, his voice grave.

Causing the faces of everyone in the room to turn grim, except for the patriarch’s.

While they weren’t fearful of the city lord himself, they were wary of the support behind him.

With him being a member of the Dragonmir clan and the city lord of a Low rank city it made him a valuable asset to the ancient Dragonmir clan.

And no matter how insignificant his influence might seem, if the Gordons openly attacked him, the ancient Dragonmir clan would not turn a blind eye and might very well attempt to eliminate the entire Gordons clan to show their prowess.

Such powers were precisely what the Gordons sought to avoid, as they did not possess sufficient strength at this time to go against a High Tier clan talk less of an Ancient Clan.

“Zack, go into seclusion and work toward reaching the Tier 6 Mage realm, if you manage to achieve that level, I won’t hesitate to make you an elder,” the Patriarch said firmly.

“But I can still help the clan…” Zack protested, but the patriarch raised his hand, halting him.

“Don’t concern yourself with our enemies for now, we need to build our strength.

I know that man will come soon and try to provoke us into action; and at this point it’s inevitable that we will clash except we leave the city for him to satisfy his position of power, however, we cannot leave the city just yet, and I’m sure each of you understands why.

“Our father brought us here, while we may have only vague memories of our origins, we must not fear such small matters for now, only by surpassing their expectations of us can we continue to survive.

“Our revenge will eventually come, for no one messes with the Gordons clan,” the Patriarch declared, and everyone present nodded in agreement.

“So, when they are battling the waves of opponents from the Second Dimension, we will remain and defend our clan.

Regardless of any calls for help, we won’t act until there is a breach in the city.

Is that clear?” The patriarch added, and they all agreed.

And with that, the meeting was dismissed, and all the elders dispersed to guard the four entrances to the inner region.

For now, they had abandoned renovations of the outer region, planning to resume them after the Blood Moon battle.

# Grand Royal Stadium

“From the right-hand side, we have the Bloodline Academy team!” the referee announced, not bothering with any elaborate introductions.

With the Blood Moon fast approaching, he seemed eager to get the match underway.

The crowd, feeling secure, cheered even louder after all, it was common knowledge that the royal palace hadn’t been attacked in years, and they were blissfully unaware of the unrest their king felt.

As the right entrance opened, the entire Bloodline Academy team strode in with confidence.

They wasted no time reaching the edge of the stage, awaiting instructions as team members waved to the audience except for Dragov.

Damien was showered with roses from a few girls infatuated with his looks, as the Bloodline Academy fans began their celebratory chants and dances, and from a higher vantage point, the flags they waved proudly displayed a large emblem of the Bloodline Academy.

It took a minute for the referee to regain control and ensure they didn’t continue their antics before he proceeded to announce the next team.

“Now from the left side, we have the War God Mage Academy team!” The moment he said this, the entire left side audience erupted in cheers.

Unlike the Bloodline Academy fans, who cheered out of pure admiration due to many of them being its students, its graduates, or supporters from other Great Eight academies,

The War God Academy fans on the other hand brought a different energy altogether.

Their cheering lacked rhythm and synchronization, but they all had one thing in common: they were passionate fanatics, most of whom were students from ordinary academies.

Watching the War God Academy team reach such heights felt like an adrenaline rush to them all, inspiring them to believe they too could achieve greatness.

Consequently, their support for the War God Academy was on a different level; this was not mere admiration, but a fervent fan base passionately banging their feet on the ground and chanting the names of each mage in the War God Academy from the captain to the vice captain, main members, and even the reserve members.

Such antics may not have been as refined as those of the Bloodline Academy fans, but the thrill that radiated through the stadium as each member’s name was called upon their entrance was undeniable.

Now, no one would forget those mages’ names, especially the Gordons clan name, that was mentioned a total of seven times.

Alec smirked as he stepped forward, knowing that this display he had invented beforehand had paid off and completely quelled the morale boost that the Bloodline Academy once enjoyed from the fervent support of their fans.
