Chapter 1337: Second Store Upgrade Quest(5)

Swish!

As Sirish slashed with the dark blades, the beast pulled back at a quick speed. While pulling back, it activated [Shadowstrike Fury]. Its claws became blurred, striking the air with an eerie speed. Shadows stretched and recoiled with each blow, and a series of strikes were aimed directly at Sirish.

Sirish was no weak persimmon. He was also a warrior who controlled the element of darkness. He immediately melted into darkness, becoming invisible.

Sirish had become invisible in a true sense, as the strikes were met with empty air when they passed the area where Sirish was a moment earlier.

A cruel grin spread across the beastʼs face since he liked challenging prey more than weak prey. The more challenge its opponent provided, the better it would feel while tearing them apart.

It wasnʼt over yet, and the next second, Sirish appeared right behind the beast. His eyes had turned pitch black, and there was a surge of darkness around him.

The Black-Dotted Fossa felt a threat to its life for the first time from its opponent, and it was a feeling it hated more than anything.

Growl!

Its eyes turned redder, and it growled. Immediately, a cover of darkness appeared around it, ready to defend it from any attack.

At the same time, it had also activated [Umbral Torrent]. The next moment, a torrent of darkness emerged and shrouded Sirish, trying to drain his life force.

The surge of darkness around Sirish clashed with the torrent of darkness, and they began to eat each other. The Black-Dotted Fossaʼs intuition didnʼt fail as the attack released by Sirish turned out to be superior of the two.

The next moment, whatever remained of the attack clashed with the barrier around the beast and failed to pierce through it.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in a flash. Before beginning the battle, Sirish believed that he would win with only some challenges. But now that he was in the midst of a fight with Black-Dotted Fossa, he found out that the stories about their ferocity werenʼt made up. In fact, it underestimated the beastʼs ability to battle and put more focus on its brutal characteristics as the reason for its formidable strength.

It didnʼt mean that Sirish wasnʼt confident in his victory. Coming from the strongest race in the dimension had its perks, and the most significant factor was the vast knowledge of powerful abilities in their arsenal. Sirish hadnʼt even used his top three abilities, so his confidence in his victory was still there with no hesitation at all.

At that moment, the battlefield had transformed into a dance of shadows and elemental power as Sirish and the Black-Dotted Fossa engaged in a deadly ballet of strikes and dodges. The Fossaʼs [Ensnaring Vines] wanted to trap Sirish, but he easily cut through the vines, staying unharmed.

The battle kept on raging, and after the second hour of fighting, Sirish had a slight hesitation in his victory for the first time. Even though he hadnʼt used his ultimate ability, the beast also hadnʼt used [Eclipse Dominion].

As the battle was reaching its end, the moonlight peered through the cover of darkness in the forest for the first time, casting an ethereal glow over the battlefield. With an angry roar that seemed to shake the sky, the beast activated [Eclipse Fury]. The next moment, an orb of sheer darkness formed, ready to destroy Sirish.

Sirishʼs eyes showed a solemn expression for the first time since he could sense extreme danger emanating from the sphere of darkness.

It wasnʼt the end from the beastʼs side, as it wanted [Eclipse Fury] to be its last attack. The next moment, a surge of darkness appeared around the beast, and it devoured the moonlight peering through the destroyed forest.

The beast had activated [Eclipse Dominion] at that time. A dark light enveloped him while the entire forest was covered in darkness. The sphere of darkness suddenly began to grow and only stopped when it reached three times the size of what it originally was before the activation of [Eclipse Dominion].

It didnʼt only grow in size but also in intensity. The sound of cracking rang in the area as the space around the sphere was unable to handle the pressure being released from it.

Sirish also understood he couldnʼt hold back anymore. The next moment, he activated his ultimate ability.

An eerie melody began to ring in the beastʼs ears while the darkness around the forest was slowly disappearing. When death came, even the elements needed to be humble.

At that moment, Sirish released an aura of death, which made the darkness surrounding him vanish.

An armor that seemed to exist only in fantasy began to appear around him, while gigantic blades created from the element of darkness appeared in his hands. His aura saw explosive growth at that time.

When the armor was completely formed, the aura of death around him began to spread. Whatever remained of the forest began to die at that time.

The beast released the skill while Sirish pounced forward, ready to clash with the sphere.

BOOM!

The next moment, an explosion rang in the area with such intensity that the sound released from it was enough to destroy the fabric of space.

The eardrums of both parties exploded due to the pressure, and yet they could hear the explosion. It was hammering their souls.

Fortunately for the two, it was a lightless explosion, not affecting their sight.

Crack!

Suddenly cracks began to ring, and in no time, the space in the range of several thousand miles cracked open like cracked glass. Its shards began to fall to the ground, but before they could touch the ground, they turned into particles and disappeared.

Sirish seemed to be in a terrible situation, as three-fourths of his face had melted, including his bones. The armor was nowhere in sight, and what remained of him was a melted Sirish.

The beast had received injuries at the same level. A smile suddenly spread across the beastʼs face as it looked at its opponent with whatever was left of it.

Sirish didnʼt make any move since his head was not in a position to look around.
