The First Store System

Chapter 1319: Selecting the Candidate(6)

After pulling out the [Citadel Guard], Gret looked for another defensive skill of lower levels. After doing it for several minutes, he stopped. Gret couldnʼt find any skill impressive enough to go for higher levels and finally choose at the end.

It wasnʼt that there were terrible skills in the store. It had to do with Gretʼs exclusive mindset. He wanted his second skill to be on par with the first one he picked, and it was easier to think about it than do it.

Pulling out the skill cards also depended on luck, and his chances clearly werenʼt working for him. The skill [Citadel Guard] wasnʼt even in the top twenty of the skills available for the Lesser God level cultivators, which wasnʼt an upgrade of skills for low-level cultivators or a downgrade of skills for top level cultivators.

Since things were like that, Gret decided to stop searching for another defensive type skill and move one row higher.

He followed the same process as the last time, and after several attempts, he found a skill. He immediately went for the higher level skills and soon reached the God level shelf.

The next moment, when he pulled his hand out, there was a skill card in his hand, and he immediately focused on the content of it.

[Name: Mithril Sprint

Type: Movement

Mithril was a rare material known for its different uses in different situations. Whoever was the creator of the skill used the malleability of the metal to create a skill for movement.

Mithril was only present in the God level skill. The lower-level skills used different metals to create the same result, but Mithril was the best of them to be used at the highest level.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in the blink of an eye.

Gret currently stood there reading the details of the skill card in his hand.

[Name: Alloyed Hexforge

Type: Supporting

Level: God

Cultivation Level: Early to Peak Lesser God

Effect: Imposes a debilitating hex that corrodes adversariesʼ strengths and disrupts their abilities

Description: The user harnesses the malevolent essence of metal to impose a debilitating hex upon adversaries. This skill channels the corrosive power of metal to weaken and disrupt their abilities, leaving them vulnerable and incapacitated.

The activation of the skill demands profound understanding and control over the element of metal. Prolonged usage of the skill puts strain on mental faculties and will require a period of recovery before using it again.

Price: Fifteen thousand nine hundred ninety-nine supreme Sacred stones.]

It was a God level skill of the supporting type. It took a longer time than other types to find a suitable skill because Gret wanted the debuff type of skill.

The details he was reading on the card impressed him a lot, forcing him to make an immediate decision, irrespective of the high cost of the skill.

While Gret was searching for his skills, Aakesh was greeted with the sight of a new customer entering the store when he was about to close his eyes to relax.

As the number of customers was growing, the relaxation time for Aakesh was similarly decreasing. Aakesh didnʼt care about that since he couldnʼt feel tired due to his unlimited endurance. Nevertheless, it was a peaceful moment, and Aakesh liked it.

Aakesh was waiting for the second store upgrade quest to get completed so he could hire an assistant for the store. It would also allow him to hire a second store assistant for the store in the Primal Dimension, but since he was in the Sacred Dimension, he cared for the single one more than the extra.

Phily stopped at the door, looking at the building above him with a cautious expression.

Phily was the ruler of a nearby Kingdom who had come here after relinquishing his throne and handing it to his eldest son.

One day he announced his eldest son as the crown prince, and the next day he announced the son to be the second King, taking everyone by storm.

The store played a prominent role in Philyʼs decision to give up his post, despite his eldest son only being a peak Divine Lord. Philyʼs decision had made the Glawkas Kingdom the weakest Kingdom on planet Curiel.

It was a shocking decision for everyone in the Glawkas Kingdom since Phily was the founder. The stories of Phily about how he rose from a poor family and how he became King was mandatory for every citizen of the Kingdom to know by mouth. That rule showed how much Phily loved his throne.

What made Phily take that decision had to do with the dream he saw on the morning he announced the crown prince.

In the dream, Phily was sitting on his throne, and a spear pierced his heart, pinning his body to the throne.

Below the throne, there were the corpses of his family spread out in a humiliating way. As far as his eyes could see in that dream, he could see nothing but death.

Then suddenly, a ray of light erupted out of nowhere from a very far distance.

In no time, the light was above his Kingdom, and soon it was right above him on the throne.

As the light shone on the throne, the spear pinning him there melted. The injuries on his body began to heal. The corpses seemed to have regained life and began waking up.

After everything was restored to normal, things began to evolve, taking Phily and his Kingdom to new heights. Then the source of the light presented itself, and it was the building in front of which Phily stood.
