The First Store System

Chapter 347 – Another Victory

Chapter 347: Another Victory

Thinking about the punishment, he thought about the quest, and the next moment, a blue screen containing the details of the quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Objective: Hunt the Intruders,

Requirement: As someone who wants to become the most outstanding store owner, how could you leave those who repeatedly offended you and eyed your store alive?

Information: The organization Nielle has begun eyeing your store,

Systemʼs help: Three absolute attacks, and you can materialize any one weapon of your likes during the quest duration,

Mission reward: Increase of a level and one offensive skill,

Failure punishment: Decrease of a level, and the storeʼs shutdown for one thousand years.]

The punishment was too harsh to even consider failing the quest, so Aakesh stopped asking the system for the purpose behind the organization attacking the store.

Aakesh looked at the punishment section for a few more seconds while thinking something at the same time.

He then waved his hands, and the quest screen disappeared.

”Will you be alright fighting such a strong organization on your own?” Lily suddenly asked Aakesh with a concerned tone.

A smile spread across Aakeshʼs face, hearing the concern in Lilyʼs question.

”Donʼt worry! I would only exterminate them when Iʼm ready to win,” Aakesh smilingly told Lily as he gently rubbed her head.

”Letʼs go!”

Lily wanted to say something, but before she could say it, Aakesh commented, and the next moment, they disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection area.

”Donʼt worry about your father? Go and train,” Aakesh joked with Lily after entering the selection area.

Lily, in response, puffed her cheeks but didnʼt refute Aakesh. She then left Aakeshʼs hands, selected her usual training environment, and soon a portal appeared and sucked her in.

The smile on Aakeshʼs face vanished after Lily left, and in place of it, a cold expression appeared. No one knew what he was thinking at that moment. A few moments later, his face regained the usual expressionless face.

He then went to the weapons section, picked up his bow, selected his training area, and soon a portal appeared and sucked him in, bringing another round of silence in the selection area.

Aakesh, on the other hand, appeared in the familiar arena in the midst of cheers.

Soon, a blue screen appeared in front of him.

Even though he had won the battle yesterday, Aakesh didnʼt select the third round as it wasnʼt a convincing win, so he chose the second round for another fight.

Not long after, the opponent also appeared in the arena.

”You wonʼt succeed again like yesterday,” The opponent coldly commented.

Aakesh ignored the opponent and got ready for the battle.

[Ding!]

The next moment, a bell rang, announcing the start of another battle.

”Clang!”

It seemed the opponent wanted to take revenge for yesterdayʼs death, so he took the initiative and began the battle with the sword in his left hand.

Unfortunately for the opponent, Aakesh has already gotten accustomed to his speed and strength while using the sword with his left hand, so before the sword swing could sever his head, Aakesh shot an arrow and deflected it.

The opponent had expected Aakesh to defend, so he didnʼt back off, but instead, he increased his strength in the swing.

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

The sound of continuous metallic clashes rang in the area as for every slash that came his way, Aakesh shot an arrow and deflected it from even touching him.

One second passed,….fifteen seconds passed,…thirty seconds passed, and just like that, a minute had passed, but the sound of clashes hadnʼt stopped for a second.

Neither Aakesh nor the opponent had even a shallow cut for now.

The battle had only been about equal until now. For every sword swing that came Aakeshʼs way, he shot an arrow. Similarly, the opponent also deflected every shot that came at him.

Time flew by.

The opponent stood in one corner of the arena as he gasped for breath. Aakesh stood in another corner. He didnʼt feel exhausted, so he breathed regularly while thousands of arrows covered the skies.

Aakesh then activated the second ability of the bow, and the weight of the arrows suddenly reached an unprecedented level. Even the air couldnʼt sustain that many arrows with such weight, so they began raining down, aiming to destroy the opponent.

The opponent looked at everything happening with a wry smile as he didnʼt have enough energy to activate another attack for now.

It wasnʼt the first time Aakesh had activated these skills in this battle, but it was the fourth time. For the last three times, the opponent was able to match it with the projection of the sword and white flash, but now that his energy storage was empty, he had no choice but to wait for his death.

Soon, the arrows engulfed the opponent, and in no time, it destroyed him to such an extent that not even his ashes remained.

The crowd in the arena looked at everything happening with their eyes and mouth wide open. Todayʼs battle had surpassed all the previous fights, not only in duration but also the enjoyment.

When Aakesh looked at his chest after the opponent had died, he could see that he had a deep gash there, and the blue blood was still dripping.

The next moment, a blue light engulfed him, and all the injuries he had faced in this battle up to now got restored.

Soon, a blue screen appeared in front of him, asking whether he wanted to proceed to the next stage or not.

Aakesh ignored the blue screen and disappeared from the arena. He would return tomorrow to have another battle in the second round.

Aakesh then selected his next training area. The next moment he appeared in the same closed hall.

Time flew by.

Aakesh was currently in his one-hundredth turn, and there were a hundred bullseyes present in the hall.

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

Sounds of arrows tearing through the air rang as the bullseyes released arrows with a random amount of strength.

For every arrow, Aakesh took out an arrow from the quiver tied to his back, nocked it on the bow, and shot it.

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

The sound of continuous metallic clashes rang in the hall as arrows from both sides clashed with each other.

”Clang!”

The last arrows from both sides clashed with each other.
