Chapter 312: Battle(1)

The next moment, Aakesh appeared in the familiar area. The fort, the size of a planet, stood in front of him, with its dignity, releasing an aura of unconquerable confidence.

Yesterday when he had entered the area, he had gotten killed by an opponent he didnʼt even see. So, he didnʼt want to die in the same way as yesterday.

Like Aakesh remembered everything that happened yesterday, the soldiers in the fort also remembered it. It made the battle difficult and more challenging with each entry as not only did Aakesh improve and learn from the fights, but the soldiers also improved in the fights.

A horn, signifying the start of the battle, rang after the soldier caught sight of Aakesh, standing miles away from the fort.

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

”Whoosh!”

The sound of arrows tearing through the air rang as the archers in the fort took the initiative of the war and took their shots.

It wasnʼt the end. While tens of thousands of arrows covered the sky in less than a second, spear-carrying soldiers began jumping down the fort.

Unlike yesterday, the first wave of arrows werenʼt ordinary arrows. Different kinds of elements could be seen in the place of arrowheads, with fire being the majority.

Aakesh couldnʼt destroy this wave by just the force released by his bow, so he had to take a shot and a supernatural arrow at that.

Aakesh raised his bow, aiming at the sky, while his right hand stretched the bowstring, only to stop when it reached his nose.

The arrow Aakesh was going to shoot had already taken shape. Unlike most of the arrows, it didnʼt have a tail feather to stop the disruption of air. Instead, it was a straight rod, with only an arrowhead at the top.

The arrowhead was also different, as instead of being in a triangular shape, it was in the shape of a thunderbolt.

”BOOM!”

The next moment, a sound loud enough to shake the area of several hundreds of miles rang as Aakesh released his finger.

”Boom!”

”Boom!”

”Boom!”

As if the arrow was breaking through barriers, the sound of rumble continuously echoed in the area.

Aakesh didnʼt even look at the result of the clash as the spear-carrying soldiers were only a few hundred meters away from him.

It may look as if a long time had passed, but in reality, only more than a second, but less than two seconds had passed.

”BOOM!”

The next moment, a rumble even louder than the sound released by the release of the arrow rang in the air.

”Clang!”

The sound of rumble hadnʼt even dissipated as the sound of metallic clashes began ringing in the area.

There were around three hundred thousand soldiers in front of Aakesh, aiming to kill him.

Half of the soldiers carried spears, while the other half had shields to protect.

He couldnʼt use the five-element arrow in this situation as Aakesh could see the property of the shields in the hands of the soldiers.

Each shield only had two abilities, Negate, and Reflect.

It negated any elemental attack, and it also had the ability to reflect half the strength of the strike it had faced.

Aakesh only had a single way to defeat the shields, and that was to overpower it.

Aakesh had several of such arrows in his current arsenal, but the spear the soldiers carried wouldnʼt let him.

Each spear, if taken outside, even the worth of the material used in its making would cost more than half of the Primal dimension, while it will take half the value of the Sacred dimension to buy the spear.

With it being so expensive, it only had one ability, Timer.

Its name sounded simple, but the ability it allowed was something even the strongest of Gods would take seriously.

Timer: It allowed the owner to set a timer for the battle. As time passes in the set-timer, all the attributes of the owner will grow by one percent with each passing second.

Disadvantage: If the owner failed to end the battle in the set time, the weapon would instead kill the owner.

The timer limit depended upon the quality of the weapon. Unfortunately for Aakesh, the quality of the spear the soldiers carried was only one stage less than the best quality of weapon in the Sacred dimension.

The spear allowed the soldiers to select a timer of up to 1000 seconds at this quality.

Aakesh wasnʼt aware what time the soldiers had set, but the selection of thousand seconds was the most probable choice for them.

So, Aakesh had two choices in this situation, either end the battle before the soldiers grew too strong, or he could wait for a thousand seconds. At that time, the soldiers would automatically die due to the side-effect of the skill.

Unfortunately for Aakesh, choosing the second option was no less than suicide for him, as at that time, each soldier will be around ten times stronger than him. And a second of time wasnʼt a small-time for higher-level beings like him and the soldiers.

While Aakesh was thinking, the fighting didnʼt stop. He continued shooting arrows, and the soldiers successfully defended against it.

From time to time, he shot multiplication arrows in the midst.

But the soldier seemed prepared for a sudden attack like yesterday, so they destroyed each arrow.

Time flew by.

Six seconds had passed since the battle between Aakesh and the fort had begun.

The first arrow Aakesh had shot in the air not only destroyed tens of thousands of arrows coming at him, but it still was present in the air as it rained down thunder on the shield carrying soldiers.

For now, the strength of the thunder was in the limit of the shields, so they patiently defended. From time to time, they also deflected the thunder at Aakesh, aiming to distract him since the thunder didnʼt have enough power to harm someone like Aakesh.

While the archers from the fort tried to destroy Aakeshʼs arrow in the air.

Unfortunately for them, the arrow proved to be way stronger than any of them had thought of.
