Chapter 315: Destruction(End)

The Yultes had expected the beast head to explode with a bang, but contrary to his expectations, the beast head after stopping its expansion, stopped its eerie laughter and instead opened its mouth as wide as possible.

The snake tongue dissociated itself from the beast head and fell upon the ground, and soon the horns, the size of a giant mountain, fell upon the ground with a loud sound.

Not even a second had passed when the tongue and the pair of horns mixed to create a one-horned snake with dark scales.

The one-horned snake, when it raised its head, it covered the sky.

The snake then rushed at the Yultes while some kind of energy began gathering at the tip of the beast headʼs open mouth.

The Yultes looked horrified, seeing the scene in front of him since a dreaded memory suddenly emerged in his mind.

The Yultes have heard about the [redacted] arrow from one of the stories told by his ancestor.

The [redacted] arrow had only been used very few times in the known history of the Sacred dimension. One such time was witnessed by the ancestor of the Yultes.

The arrow had been used by, Kopere, the race born with a divine archery physique.

The organization, Yultesʼs ancestor, belonged to was having a war with another organization. In the war, the ancestor was only a cannon fodder level soldier, while the current leader of the organization belonged to the Kopere race.

The organization was at the losing end when the leader had no choice but to personally intervene in the battle.

The Kopere used only a single arrow, and that arrow killed the majority of the creatures belonging to the enemy organization.

The emergence of a one-horned snake from the mixture of scales, horns, and tongue in this battle was the same thing the Yultes had heard from his ancestor.

”Roar!”

A sudden roar echoed in the area as the one-horned snake roared, looking at the Yultes.

The next moment, the snake appeared right in front of the Yultes as it aimed to bite him in a single swoop.

Since the Yultes had heard the power of the snake, he was not only ready for any attack that came his way, but he already had made his plans of what he was going to do next.

Before the snake could devour him, the Yultes disappeared from the point he was standing upon and appeared right behind Aakesh, who couldnʼt do anything as long as the arrow existed.

The Yultes didnʼt know about Aakeshʼs inability to move or defend himself. He still decided to attack first because he had killed Aakesh yesterday. If he successfully killed Aakesh, the beast head and the one-horned snake will automatically vanish since the chanting weapons couldnʼt sustain themselves without the existence of the chanter.

Aakesh had a cold expression as he felt the Yultes appearing behind him. Even though he couldnʼt move, he still sensed the swing of his longsword, aiming to sever his head.

Aakesh didnʼt worry about the slash, as the Yultesʼs sword suddenly came to a stop before it could even touch Aakesh.

The beast head that had been looking at the fort while gathering energy turned around, and just with a single glance, it froze the Yultes.

Before the Yultes could even understand what had happened, the one-horned snake rushed at him, while the beast head released the energy it had gatherer until now in the form of a beam.

The beam traveled through space as it appeared right in front of the Yultes and clashed.

”ARGH!”

The next moment, a scream filled with heart-rending pain echoed in the area as the energy beam not only attacked the Yultes physically but also his soul.

His physical body began disintegrating slowly while his eyes began losing their luster.

The Yultes wasnʼt even able to fight the energy beam when the one-horned snake appeared right in front of him and took a bite of the Yultesʼs head.

The next moment, the beast head began fading, while the corpse of the half-disintegrated Yultes crashed on the ground with a loud sound.

Soon, the beast head completely faded. With it, the corpse of the Yultes also scattered like sand.

The one-horned snake was one of the inferior forms of a creature belonging to the third dimension. That creature was also the creator of the chanted arrow, Aakesh had shot.

Since Aakesh had only shot an inferior version of the arrow, the snake only had a purity of one-trillionth of its original bloodline, making it equivalent to a peak level Immortal(Without gaining embryo of the divine physique) in the Primal dimension. It wasnʼt a sentient creature, but just a projection, which could only exist for three seconds.

Two seconds had already passed since the projection of the snake appeared on the battlefield, so only one more second was left before it vanished.

Aakesh didnʼt need to tell the snake what to do in this last second as it had the same level of intellect as Aakesh, if not more.

Around 80% of soldiers belonging to both spear and shield camps had already died. The majority of fatalities consisted of the spearmen, but the shieldmen also had taken a large number of casualties.

Aakesh could now easily take them on, despite each alive spearmen being more than five times stronger than from when they had joined the battlefield.

The snake also understood this, so instead of killing all the soldiers on the ground, it disappeared from the spot and appeared right in front of the fort.

”Boom!”

The next moment, an explosion loud enough to shake the land Aakesh was standing on erupted in the area.

A mushroom cloud, the size of a giant mountain, appeared after the explosion.

Even though the explosion happened a large distance away from Aakesh and the soldiers, it still affected both camps.

Aakesh was thrown backward hundreds of miles by the shockwave, while the soldiers who took the brunt of the shockwave first melted due to heat released by the explosion.

If not for Aakeshʼs stronger physique and almost undamagable lower clothes, he would have also faced severe injuries, and his clothes wouldʼve gotten burnt into nothingness, making him naked.

Aakesh was already aware of what was going to happen due to the snake telling him before exploding, so Aakesh had already been prepared to face the shockwave.

The shockwave only forced him backward, but he didnʼt crash down the ground due to him steadying himself, which also helped him in not having any severe injury due to the force.

Aakesh then looked at the fort. The mushroom cloud had already subsided.

His cold expression finally relaxed, and a satisfying smile appeared on his face, as Aakesh could see void from the other side of the fort.

The explosion caused by the snake had created a giant hole in the fort, which not only killed hundreds of thousands of soldiers but also broke the space on the other side of the fort.

Time flew by, and around ten more minutes had passed.

After the explosion, Aakesh killed each soldier who had survived the beast head and the shockwave.

When Aakesh killed the last surviving soldier, a sudden earthquake occurred, as a being the size of the snake jumped down the fort on the ground.

It was only the start, as soon thousands of such giants jumped down.

Aakesh was able to kill all of them using all the arrows in his arsenal, other than the chanting arrows.

But unfortunately for Aakesh, he failed to conquer the fort, as the archers in the fort also knew chanting arrows.
