The First Store System

Chapter 306: Sudden Situation(1)

After buying supreme cards for all seven new members, Kuriati then focused on the contents of the training area.

In the group of thirteen members(including him), he was leading only he was an Immortal. And since he had a growth-level weapon, it had also grown to be an Immortal-grade weapon with him. While of the other thirteen, nine were top Maharathi warriors(Tao Palace), and the last three members were intermediate Maharathi warriors(Tao Manifestation).

Since he was the leader and was responsible for the training of his underlings, he had to pay for their training price.

The total cost for every memberʼs training group came to be more than a trillion supreme Primal stones, to be precise one trillion, nine million, and three thousand supreme Primal stones.

Since he had enough Primal stones in his supreme card and he could see the excitement in the eyes of his underlings for the training area, so he didnʼt wait and said, ”Store owner, the Gods & Demons level training area for all of us: one Immortal-grade weapon, nine Overlord-grade weapons, and three Emperor-grade weapons.”

Right after Kuriati told Aakesh his order, a mechanical alert appeared inside his head, asking him about the payment. After Kuriati gave the card the permission to go ahead, the system deducted the required amount of Primal stones.

After that, Aakesh got an alert from the system that the payment for the training area had been successfully done. In response, Aakesh told Kuriati to go ahead and also the process of entering the training area.

”Thank you, store owner,” Kuriati and all the other twelve members in the group thanked Aakesh and then took a step in the direction of the weapons room.

Kuriati, who had been carrying a smile all along, had a sudden change in his expressions when he turned around.

All this time, he had been faking the smile except for the time when he thanked Aakesh for the event. When he had arrived in the store for the first time, he had seen a hint of his future, where he had gotten killed by Aakesh in a single sword strike. To make that future disappear, he had been trying hard to make good relations with the store owner, but since his breakthrough was imminent, he didnʼt arrive in the store after the event.

Now that he had gotten his breakthrough and successfully became an Immortal, he returned to the store. But for whatever reason, the hint of the future remained the same. He still saw the scene of him getting killed in a single strike in an area full of corpses of his fellow race members and other races.

Thinking about the scene, he entered the weapons room. He half-heartedly looked around the weapons room and found murals of several battle scenes engraved on the walls.

He was only looking at the walls to survey the room when he suddenly felt a thunder rumble in his head and blanked out. It all happened after his eyes fell upon one of the battle scenes.

In the battle scene, a being was swinging his mace around while countless creatures belonging to an unknown race had surrounded them.

Kuriatiʼs underlings, who were also looking around the room, frowned, seeing Kuriati suddenly, losing his focus. They didnʼt dare to touch him since they didnʼt know whether it was an epiphany or a problem, so they anxiously waited for Kuriati to come around.

Time flew by, and a few minutes passed. Kuriati still hadnʼt come around, and his eyes were still blank.

”What do you think happened?” One of the newer members asked with a hint of concern in his voice.

He had just recently joined the group of Kuriati, and if something were to happen to him, he would not only lose his source of luxury, but also his life. Since he was the last member to join the group, and if just days after his joining the group something happened to Kuriati, he would surely get killed since he would be the bringer of the bad luck.

”I donʼt know...know. I have never seen leader in such situations,” One of the female members replied. Her voice had a hint of trembling at the start, but in the end, she controlled herself. ”Please donʼt let anything happen to him. I havenʼt even had sex with him,” At the same time, she thought in her heart since she had feelings for him.

Time flew by, and a few more minutes passed. Kuriati, who had been staying still for the past several minutes, finally moved. Life returned to his eyes.

The next moment, his entire body got covered in a cold sweat as he remembered what he had just seen.

Right after Kuriatiʼs eyes fell on the mural, he found himself in a sudden illusion.

In an unknown ruined area filled with skeletons and corpses in various situations, Kuriati and around hundreds of his fellow race members came across creatures belonging to the races, none of them had read about or seen in any of the texts in their families while the current Kuriati saw the scene in a third-person view.

The creatures Kuriati and his race members were battling had humanoid features like them, while their skin color was dark. In comparison to Daityas, the size difference was minimal. The creatures didnʼt have eyes or a nose, or even ears, only a large mouth with sharp teeth like razors were present vertically. A strange yellow liquid dripped out of their mouth, and whenever it landed on the ground, it created a small pit, showing its acidic properties.

Even though the creators didnʼt have sensory organs except for the mouth, it was still able to locate the group of Daityas.

”Tbsy jebgst uwhrzuehuwf5 ugwvsyb!” The creatures, seeing the group of daityas, spoke something which sounded gibberish to Kuriati and the other members of his race.

Right after the creatures talked, they rushed at the group of Daityas while the strange yellow liquid dropped on the ground from time to time.

Kuriati, in the illusion, had a cold look as he swung his mace at the first creature. The next moment something unimaginable to him happened as his mace passed through the creatures.

His face suddenly changed as the creature reached him and swung its hands.. Kuriati knew he couldnʼt take the clash head-on as he could feel that he would get ripped into pieces.
