Naruto: Max Skill With One Click

Chapter 20: MSOC: Chapter 20

”The Sharingan of the Uchiha clan is inherently capable of copying jutsu, although not everyone can do it,” Minato glanced at it before looking away. ”But in Konoha’s secret intelligence, the description of the Mangekyō Sharingan of the Uchiha clan states that once it awakens, it will gain special dōjutsu. If I’m not mistaken, the giant Asura, the black flames, and the powerful jutsu were all caused by those eyes, right?”

Kai had already anticipated Minato’s guess.

From the beginning, when he decided to repel the Cloud ninjas and the AB duo, he used Susanoo, Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to hide it for long.

He nodded. ”You’re right. You’re worthy of being the top candidate for the next Hokage.”

Minato smiled wryly. ”There are many outstanding people in Konoha. Fugaku, Shisui, my teacher, the Sannin, and you.”

”I’m just active on the front lines, and I don’t have any political background, so it’s easier for people to accept me.”

”If we really had to compare our strength, my teacher Jiraiya, Fugaku, Shisui, and the others would be more suitable.”

Looking at Minato, who was being so humble, Kai rolled his eyes. ”Show off when it’s time to show off. Otherwise, why get so strong?”

”Hide it so no one can see? That’s no fun.”

”People are selfish. When they become heroes, they still keep secrets. I can’t do that.”

Minato smiled wryly. ”I never thought you’d have such an insightful perspective on things, Kai.”

”Although I can’t teach you the Flying Thunder God Technique, I’ll ask the Third Hokage when we get back to Konoha. He should agree. Now let me demonstrate the Rasengan a second time.”

As he spoke, Minato began to gather his chakra again.

However, before the Rasengan could form, urgent footsteps came from outside.

”Minato-sama, it’s bad news. The scouts reported that a group of Mist ninjas appeared three kilometers away. There are quite a few of them. We don’t know who’s leading them,” Uzuki Ao rushed in.

Seeing Minato’s Rasengan dissipate, he realized that the timing was a bit off and apologized.

”Kai, I’m sorry. I’ll demonstrate the Rasengan when I get back. You’ve used a lot of chakra in battle. Rest at the stronghold for now. I’ll deal with those Mist ninjas.” Minato left these words behind and rushed out.

Uzuki Ao gave Kai an apologetic look and quickly followed.

After the two left, the vast cave returned to silence.

”I didn’t expect the Mist ninjas to send people to attack from the rear. It seems they’re all trying to kick a man while he’s down,” Kai smiled playfully.

”I was planning on finding a Tailed Beast to be my chakra ATM. If I could capture a small leader, maybe I could find out where the Three-Tails is.”

”But for now, I’ll try to learn the Rasengan. Maybe there will be a surprise.”

Kai thought to himself, recalling the scene of Minato using the Rasengan a second time, which he had copied with his Mangekyō Sharingan.

The little chakra he had left roared and flowed, quickly gathering in his right hand.

The Rasengan wasn’t difficult to learn. Even Naruto, a deadlast, could learn it with systematic practice.

Now that Kai had used his Mangekyō Sharingan to completely analyze the structure of the Rasengan, he could learn it even faster.

Rasengan!

Kai’s right hand slightly tightened, and the blue chakra flowing out quickly gathered in his palm.

In the next moment, accompanied by the sound of high-frequency chakra flowing, the Rasengan instantly formed.

”Ding, detected A-rank jutsu Rasengan. Host, do you want to max level it?”

Hearing the system’s voice, Kai raised an eyebrow.

The Rasengan could already be pushed to its limits by Minato’s shape transformation.

What would happen if it could be max leveled?

”Max level it now.”

Kai didn’t hesitate and immediately gave the order.

”Ding, congratulations, host, you have obtained the Great Ball Rasengan.”

”Ding, detected host’s Lightning Release chakra. You have obtained Lightning Release: Rasengan.”

The two consecutive sounds made Kai stunned.

He had originally planned to imitate the original story, practice making the Rasengan, and then learn the Wind Release Shuriken.

He never expected that with the system’s one-click max level, he would also obtain the Great Ball Rasengan and Lightning Release: Rasengan.

As for why other attributes didn’t appear, it was probably because the system couldn’t detect any other attribute changes in his chakra.

”It seems I’ll have to get a Sage Body someday and try making all kinds of Rasengan with different attribute changes,” Kai dismissed his thoughts.

Outside, everyone’s nerves were on edge as they faced the sudden appearance of the Mist ninjas.

As soon as Minato left the cave, he gave several strict orders and then led a small team towards the target’s location.

It was the closest point between Konoha and the Land of Water.

Unfortunately, Minato had been sent to the Land of Wind and the Land of Earth earlier, and he hadn’t left any Flying Thunder God seals in the area near the Land of Water. Otherwise, he could have reached his destination quickly with a space-time jump.

After Minato and his team left, the stronghold, which had only 26 guards, was instantly reduced to 12.

This was still counting Uzuki Yūgao and Gekko Hayate.

”Father, is there anything I can do?” Uzuki Yūgao asked involuntarily. ”We don’t know how many enemies there are, and I’m worried they’ll attack the stronghold from the rear.”

As soon as these words were spoken, the atmosphere became tense.

The people left behind also felt their nerves tighten.

However, as soon as this worry crept into their minds, Uzuki Ao looked back at the cave where Kai was and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He patted Uzuki Yūgao’s shoulder and said, ”Don’t worry, silly girl.”

”We’re short-staffed, and Minato-sama isn’t here, but don’t forget about Kai.”

Speaking of this, Uzuki Ao looked at Gekko Hayate, who had already woken up, and solemnly warned him, ”Hayate, I hope that the next time you see Kai, you won’t act recklessly. He’s not someone you can compare yourself to.”

Gekko Hayate’s face darkened. He clenched his fists in anger and stubbornly raised his head. ”Don’t worry, Uzuki-san. I’ve finished my mission of escorting the intelligence.”

”With that Kai around, I’m not much use here. I’m going to leave the stronghold now and return to Konoha to report.”

Leaving these words behind, Gekko Hayate walked towards the outside of the stronghold.

However, he had only taken a few steps when a huge black shadow fell from the sky.

Without any fancy moves, it landed directly on him.

Bang!

Gekko Hayate was instantly crushed to the ground.

Feeling the warmth and blood on his face, he struggled to raise his head. What he saw made him turn pale.
