Chapter 19: MSOC: Chapter 19

Inside the cave, Kai sat cross-legged, recovering his chakra.

At the same time, he was figuring out how to solve his chakra depletion problem in a short amount of time.

After these two battles, his chakra had been depleted. If it weren’t for his Sharingan chakra, he wouldn’t have been able to face his enemies with any confidence.

After thinking it over, Kai finally came up with two solutions.

First, he could make a contract with Mount Myōboku and learn Sage Mode. By absorbing natural energy, he could quickly replenish his chakra.

Second, he could find a Tailed Beast and become its Jinchūriki.

These were the fastest solutions Kai could think of right now.

However, the Mount Myōboku summoning contract was always worn by Jiraiya.

Since Orochimaru’s betrayal and escape from Konoha, Jiraiya had become a babysitter, constantly tracking Orochimaru.

It would be difficult to find Jiraiya in a short amount of time.

As for finding a Tailed Beast to become its Jinchūriki, looking around the entire shinobi world, except for the Three-Tails, the other eight Tailed Beasts were all sealed inside Jinchūriki.

During wartime, every village was very cautious about protecting their Jinchūriki.

It would be impossible to solve his chakra depletion problem using this method in a short time. It was even more unrealistic than the first option.

Thinking about this, Kai sighed helplessly.

”It’s so hard to be me!”

”Kai, if you have any problems, feel free to talk to me,” Minato’s voice suddenly came.

Seeing Minato walk over, Kai’s eyes lit up.

Minato’s jutsu could be considered the holy trinity.

He started with the Flying Thunder God Technique, his ultimate move was the Rasengan, and if he couldn’t win, he used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal.

Besides these three jutsu, in Kai’s impression, Minato hadn’t used many other jutsu.

However, out of these three jutsu, Kai was more interested in the Flying Thunder God Technique.

The Lightning Release Chakra Mode could greatly enhance Kai’s speed.

But in terms of escaping, killing, and surprise attacks, there was probably no jutsu that could compare to the Flying Thunder God Technique.

”Kai, are you worried that Danzo will harm you?” Minato asked tentatively.

Kai raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t expected Minato to automatically assume that.

He had been planning on how to trick Minato into teaching him the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Now, he didn’t have to explain himself, so he said, ”It’s a small matter. If Danzo really wants to attack me, I’ll just not go back.”

”The world is so big. I’ll find somewhere to hide.”

Minato’s expression froze.

This was his biggest concern.

According to Uzuki Ao and the others, Kai’s strength had reached the Jonin level.

He could even surpass that.

If he combined that with his incredible talent for learning jutsu, it would be a huge loss and a hidden danger if he left Konoha.

”Kai, don’t think about it too much. I have a good relationship with Fugaku. I won’t let Danzo target you recklessly,” Minato quickly persuaded. ”Besides, I’ll report this to the Third Hokage beforehand. With his wisdom, he’ll definitely handle this fairly.”

”Just relax and come back to Konoha with me.”

Kai had also learned about Minato from the original story.

As the saying goes, good people die young.

So, Kai didn’t doubt Minato’s intentions, but his goal was to get the Flying Thunder God Technique.

If he was just dismissed with a few words, it would be like rubbing his intelligence from two lifetimes in the dirt.

”I want to go back, but I don’t have many ways to protect myself. If you’re willing to teach me the Flying Thunder God Technique, I might consider it,” Kai said with a smile.

Minato was stunned, then he smiled wryly. ”So, you had this idea from the beginning.”

”It seems you don’t care about Danzo at all. But the Flying Thunder God Technique is a forbidden jutsu developed by the Second Hokage. Even if I wanted to teach you, I need the Third Hokage’s permission,” Minato said helplessly.

”If you really want to learn, I can teach you the jutsu I developed.”

”You mean the Rasengan?” Kai rolled his eyes helplessly.

For someone as upright as Minato, it would be harder to teach him the Flying Thunder God Technique in private than to kill him.

It seemed he would have to find another way.

”You know about the Rasengan?” Minato’s face lit up. ”The Rasengan doesn’t require hand seals, the chakra requirements are moderate, and I’ve also developed a systematic learning method. I’ll demonstrate it for you now.”

”Rasengan!” Minato said, his right hand slightly tightened.

As chakra swirled around, blue energy waves quickly formed, instantly creating a blue chakra sphere.

It looked like a blue starry sky.

Of course, if you judged by appearance and underestimated the Rasengan, you would probably end up in a bad way.

In the original story, there was a humorous saying.

There was no enemy that the Rasengan couldn’t defeat.

If there was one, use two.

If it still couldn’t be defeated, then keep making different kinds of Rasengan. Eventually, you’ll find the perfect one to defeat the enemy.

”Did you see clearly?” Minato dissipated the Rasengan in his hand and asked, ”I’ll demonstrate it a second time. With your talent, as long as you practice hard and master the chakra flow, you should be able to learn it in a week.”

Seeing Minato’s enthusiasm, Kai couldn’t refuse.

Besides, Naruto’s Wind Release Rasengan in the original story was really awesome.

It was less complicated than using Lightning Release: Kirin.

Feeling Minato’s chakra flowing again, Kai’s Mangekyō Sharingan activated.

In the Naruto world, the Sharingan was a native cheat code. You shouldn’t waste it.

Minato, who was constantly paying attention to Kai, felt as if he had been seen through at that moment.

As he looked up, their eyes met, and his pupils contracted involuntarily.

The chakra he had gathered also dissipated.

”Is that the Mangekyō Sharingan?” Minato asked involuntarily.

Kai wasn’t surprised that Minato had seen through it.

The Mangekyō Sharingan wasn’t a new thing in Konoha’s history.

At least, all the information about Uchiha Madara was completely recorded by the Second Hokage.

And Minato, as the most likely candidate to become the Fourth Hokage, was particularly concerned about the Uchiha clan.

It wasn’t surprising that he knew about the Mangekyō Sharingan.

”Isn’t it strange that an unknown junior would possess the Mangekyō Sharingan?” Kai didn’t intend to hide it.

In the face of absolute power, all schemes and tricks were like mere chickens and dogs.

Minato took a deep breath and nodded. ”I finally understand why they say you have a talent for learning jutsu.”
