Chapter 178: 3 years passed in the magus universe

William fought the entire battle like a pro.

Ethan was sure he was not an amateur. Soon, among the twenty people sent by Dave, only four were still standing.

The leader, Tony, finally had fear on his face. The fox mask man was too brutal. He had killed so many of them already.

Tony had only heard about him before but never thought he would one day become a victim of this psychopath.

”Please, let us go. We won’t hunt any girls from now on. Please give us a chance.”

Tony started begging. He knew his status and meager power couldn’t save him today.

Suddenly, he remembered the couple he was hunting. The mask man was probably killing them because of that. If they forgave him, maybe this man would let him go.

He was sure they would forgive him. People who had never seen blood and murder were too soft-hearted. They had morals. They wouldn’t let someone die so easily.

So he looked toward Ethan and Rose, who were still trembling in a corner.

”Sir,maam, please forgive us. We were wrong. I have a little daughter at home. My wife is pregnant too, please forgive us. I’ll make sure no one disturbs you in the future.”

He played his card. He was sure the girl would surely speak up for him after hearing everything he had just said even if the boy didn’t.

But he was too naive. That couple was formed by two cold-blooded people. Rose also had her fair share of kills.

Ethan let her kill thugs from time to time so that she wouldn’t become too soft. Soft-hearted people suffered the most.

Ethan sighed. But before he could say anything, a hand pierced through Tony’s back and came out the front, holding his heart.

Ethan was speechless. At least let him say something first. But Ethan understood why William did this. A normal couple would surely forgive that bastard after what he said, and William didn’t want that.

Soon, William killed the remaining three.

Only Ethan, Rose, and William in the fox mask were standing in that alley.

Ethan looked at William and said, ”Thank you for saving us.”

William was a little surprised. They were too calm right now, as if the murder and blood didn’t impact them much.

William nodded and vanished from there.

Ethan said, ”Now, the real problem will come. The police will come. The Johnsons won’t sit still until they find out who did it. They won’t be able to find William because the fox man is a renowned killer and nobody knows his real identity, but we are an easy target.

They will use their power in society to send the police and harass us. Probably even kill us.”

Rose heard this and rolled her eyes.

”The lord of an entire galaxy is distressed about this?”

Ethan laughed loudly.

”Please let me be an ordinary man, who is harassed by society, then becomes powerful, then everyone comes to lick his toe. Don’t you think that’s fun?”

Rose rolled her eyes again.

”You and your weird sense of excitement. Okay, I’ll do whatever you want me to do to get your excitement.”

Ethan looked at Rose suspiciously. Why did that sound so lewd?

He should seriously get married soon and punish this woman in bed. In a single day she had become so bold, what would she become in the future?

Ethan then looked at the corpses and used the Concept of Oblivion to destroy everything present there.

He then looked outside the planet and saw that satellites were watching them.

So he used the Law of Creation to make new video footage inside the satellites.

Now everything was okay. No one would find out what happened here today.

But that wouldn’t help them avoid harassment though.

Ethan was thinking of creating his empire in this world. He was doing this to satisfy his taste buds.

He wanted to rule those insufferable vermin on Earth, who would do anything to achieve their goals. They would even use nuclear bombs on innocents. They were the real monsters compared to martial artists. With their meager lifespans, they did all those vile acts. What would they do if they had power and longer lifespans?

Ethan had always wanted to punish the entire upper echelon of Earth, but he didn’t have the power. This planet was just like Earth, and he could rule this planet.

For doing that, he would need money. And where would the money come from?

From the ocean, of course. The ocean was a treasure trove. He would then start his business empire. He would capture the whole market of technology to medicine to food materials.

Everything would be controlled by his company.

At least he knew he could be a kind ruler. That was all he needed to know to act.

”Let’s go.”

Ethan created a clone of himself and sent it to find rare treasures from the ocean to sell in the auction houses.

They went to the hotel. It was already night.

The next day.

Ethan looked at his panel:

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 4.4 million Galaxies

Spirit: 4.4 million Galaxies

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

It was time for class.

Meanwhile, in the Magus Universe,

Three years had passed.

Ethan was now six years old. He was 1.4 meters tall.

His hair was longer, reaching his shoulders.

He had become a super handsome young boy.

He was practicing magic.

He snapped his fingers and a hundred mana balls appeared behind him in the air.

He could conjure more, but didn’t. Creating one mana ball and controlling it was so tough for him three years ago, but now he could manifest hundreds or even thousands without batting an eyelid.

He had also learned many other spells with the lightning element.

But since space and time were only mythical elements, the empire didn’t have anything where he could learn them.

So he researched bit by bit about these mythical elements and achieved a little success too. But that was not worth mentioning.

His Star Breathing Technique reached level 9.

He was now as strong as a true knight, with the strength of 50 tonnes.

But everything was done in the shadows. No one had the slightest idea that the 5th prince of the empire was now both on par with a true knight and a true magus.
