Chapter 131: Asmodius has gone crazy

Asmodius couldn’t understand how his poison breath suddenly lost its effectiveness. It had never happened before.

Ethan’s Eye of Destruction could destroy anything within the range of his power, which was twenty times his base strength. Ethan now had 100,000 Sun-level power, so the Eye of Destruction could destroy anything under 2 million Sun-level power.

So Ethan destroyed the poison breath. Klein looked at Ethan, who was still sitting on his grand throne and eating his food.

He bowed to Ethan.

”Thank you, Senior, for saving my life.”

Ethan said,

”Why do you want to kill a demon so badly that you lost your sanity?”

Klein had a sad look on his face. He was about to speak, but Ethan stopped him.

”Hold on. Let’s deal with this worm first. We can talk then.”

Asmodius roared and used his poison breath again, but Ethan had already sealed everything off.

So Asmodius couldn’t use any elemental attack; he could only rely on his physical body now.

Ethan then suppressed Asmodius to half of his power—400,000 Sun level.

Then he looked at Klein.

”Go kill him.”

Klein could tell Asmodius’s aura was now half of its previous level.

He bowed to Ethan but didn’t say anything else and disappeared from there.

Asmodius couldn’t move much in this domain with his huge form.

But he could swing his tail. When he saw Klein coming toward him, he swung his tail. It was coated with wide thorns. The thorns were also poisonous.

But Klein raised his sword and attacked the tail. Though Asmodius’s strength was suppressed to half, his defense was still as strong as ever.

The sword attack didn’t do much to his scales.

But Klein wasn’t done. He used his soul technique.

”Divine Judgment.”

Blinding golden light started to cover the entire domain. Klein’s attack was doubled again. Now it was 1 million Sun-level.

Boom! The tail was cut off from the body.

Asmodius roared with agony. Every incarnation had a sliver of soul in them, so they could also feel pain. Moreover, this incarnation was special—it could use his serpent form, so the pain was even more agonizing.

The tail grew again.

Asmodius couldn’t use other techniques except his poison breath in this serpent form, so he could only attack with his tail, but it was cut off again.

All of this happened so fast. Klein had conjured his sword 55 seconds ago. So everything happened within those 55 seconds.

He only had 5 seconds left to kill the serpent, or else he would have to wait 24 hours before he could use it again. And without the sword, he couldn’t use the ”Divine Judgment” technique.

He was desperate to kill this demon. But the serpent was enormous and had incredible regeneration speed.

Klein roared with all his might and delivered his final blow. It was aimed at the head, but Asmodius used his tail to block that blow. His tail was cut off again. The residual power hit his head, but it didn’t do any damage.

Klein’s sword was gone. His power dropped to 250,000 Sun-level. With this power, he couldn’t kill the serpent.

He could only smile wryly. He wasn’t ready to face a demon yet.

He looked at Ethan and bowed.

”Senior, I am sorry. I can’t kill this demon. I am useless.”

Ethan finished his last bite and stood up from his throne.

He looked at the giant serpent.

Then asked,

”Did Beelzebub have something like this? A giant demonic beast form? Why didn’t he use it in our fight?”

Asmodius said,

”He is a fool. Now both of you die.”

Asmodius swung his tail again. If it hit Klein, he would be turned into meat paste.

Ethan conjured a sword in his hand and muttered slowly,

”Extinction.”

Boom!

Five million Sun-level cataclysmic power radiated from his sword and engulfed the serpent.

”Nooo! I’ll kill you son of a bitch, even if I have to destroy this entire universe!”

Asmodius’s plan was totally destroyed now. His incarnation was going to die here, and it was a valuable incarnation. It was a huge loss.

Ethan said,

”Yeah, yeah, that red bastard also said something similar to me.”

Klein was looking at this scene with astonishment and awe in his eyes. He had used up all his trump cards and still couldn’t kill that demon, but this senior just did it with only a swing of his sword. Truly magnificent.

The serpent was vaporized.

Ethan slowly withdrew his sword. Then the Chaos Domain was also withdrawn.

Outside the Chaos Domain, people were looking at the black sphere with fear and astonishment. So many things had happened so quickly.

The Holy Son of the Flame Dragon Sect turned out to be a demon. Then suddenly Elder Klein, a publicly known ordinary elder, erupted with such tremendous power—almost the pressure crushed them. But it was their good luck that the senior of the Overlord Sect used his domain to isolate the demon and the berserk Elder Klein.

They were tensed. What might be going on inside that dark domain? They couldn’t see anything from the outside of the domain.

Even Rose came out due to the commotion. She was standing with a Holy Daughter of the Overlord Sect. Alex was also standing beside her. The whole environment was very suffocating.

Then they saw the dark sphere slowly disappearing. Ethan and Klein were floating in the air.

There was no demon.

They didn’t take long to understand that the demon was slain.

Instantly, a loud cheer came from everyone present, especially the younger generation.

They were looking at Ethan’s ethereal presence with fanaticism in their eyes. The girls almost lost their sanity.

Ema said,

”Elder Anna, how can someone be this perfect in this imperfect world?”

But Elder Anna didn’t reply. She was also looking at Ethan with wide eyes.

When they first saw Ethan, they were afraid of him. But now that they saw him again—he had saved them and killed a demon—their whole perspective changed.

There was a saying, ”Beauty is nothing but a perspective view.”

Now that their perspective were changed, Ethan became an ethereal demon slayer in their eyes.

Klein sat on one of his knees, put his right hand on his chest, and bowed his head,

”Sir, I want to become your follower. Would you please give me the honor?”

Ethan didn’t answer. He also didn’t deny. Having a powerful follower like Klein, who was also a Son of Destiny of this universe, would be good. He was thinking about what to do.

Everyone at the place, however, was stunned.

They had felt Klein’s pressure a while ago. They knew Klein was on a whole different level than them. But he wanted to become a follower of this senior. And this senior looked so young and handsome. This was unfair.

Lily was about to cry. Her entire view of Elder Klein had changed now. Not that she hated him, but she was now afraid of the unknown. The power gap was tremendous.

Ethan was about to reply to Klein, but then a horrendous pressure enveloped the entire World of the Ancients. Every lifeform felt that pressure.

Ethan also felt that. Instantly, he teleported Rose back to the main universe. He didn’t want her to be in any danger. The pressure was not something he could deal with now. It was the pressure of a Universe Supreme—or rather, in this universe, it was an Immortal Emperor.

Asmodius had gone crazy. He sent one of his servants to destroy this world. He didn’t even care about the forbidden realm anymore.
