I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1730: 23.49 Second Grey Star - Barrier

The darkness has descended on the world as the Sovereign God of Void calls for it. The whole world turned dark at this moment, and even the Heavenly Laws had lost their way, and it bought some time for the God of Destruction to create a barrier that isolated what was inside from the world. The action of the couple had no hesitation, and the reason they did it is for the sake of family. Yun Hun watches things unfold with a stunned expression.

Hei Anjing finished the barrier and said, ”Itʼs alright now, AʼXia. Take back the domain before the Heavenly Laws take notice of you.”

”Is it done? I will take back my domain,” Ye Xiajie said as the darkness retreated upon his command. ”The Void, return.”

After the God of Destruction erected the barrier, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness cancelled his domain. For those who had experienced the total darkness that lasted only for a few minutes, it instantly returned to normal when the darkness receded. Once the world returned to normal, all humans felt they had a certain three-minute gap in darkness in their memories. Only the Heavenly Laws appeared above the couple, looking like they wanted to strike down Ye Xiajie with lightning. But the moment Hei Anjing stood in front of him, the heavens couldnʼt help but hesitate.

After all, unlike the Sovereign God of Void, it is impossible to restrict the Ancient God of Destruction. He is an existence that kept everything in balance, and he had the right to destroy a small star as long as he wished for it. The Divine Laws are now capable of holding back, especially after Hei Anjing had woken up in his real body and his injuries had completely healed.

Behind his wifeʼs protection, the God of Void is snickering at the world, which felt helpless in the presence of the God of Destruction and was annoyed by the smile on Ye Xiajieʼs face.

Chuckles~

The heavens can only glare at the couple and retreat. It even took away the blessing of Yun Hun as this worldʼs beloved son. With the world plot of this world gone, it would definitely undergo a reset the moment their group left the world.

Ye Xiajie was slightly pinched and heard his wife say, ”Donʼt tease it. What would you do if it took revenge on you while you were away from me?”

”Away from you? No way! I will not leave your side at all!” The God of Void responded.

A voice coming from their back, seemingly full of denial. ”This canʼt be! How can the heavens take away my blessing? No. NO!”

It was only when Yun Hun felt his blessing from the world had faded and he was going crazy for it that he was noticed by the couple. Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie turn around only to see a despairing child. Reborn in such a young body with no real abilities from the original and only memories given, Yun Hun is helpless. He had no other way but to continue living a mediocre life despite the powerful ancient godʼs memories.

When Yun Hun actually woke up in this world with the originalʼs memories, he felt his difference from the others himself. It is just that only memories of the original flow in his mind. However, none of the originalʼs powers or abilities had awakened him. He felt like a helpless bigshot without any ability. But he had the memories of overwhelming the orders, no matter what he did.

Itʼs just that he was born average. For a man who had the memories of standing above everyone, an ordinary personʼs body is no different from hell. Much less to be born with a brother possessing all the talents, which is a dignified vessel of the original soul. Yun Hun felt envious of Yun Luan. No, he is jealous of the ancient god of chaos, Hunluan, himself.

He couldnʼt accept that he was born mediocre when a mere vessel of the Hunluan was a lot more talented than he was. Isnʼt that a slap on his face? A downright disdain for being just a part of the whole. As if saying to him that he, a mere soul fragment, will never surpass the original. Because of that reason alone, he started planning on destroying the vessel before the ego within the body wakes up.

He bullied Yun Luan. He took away everything that existed to support him in his growth. His family, friends, and even the coach of his career. Only for the reason that he couldnʼt accept that he is weaker than a vessel that was meant for the original. What he means is that he already exists; why is another vessel made to house the original? Canʼt he just become the powerful vessel instead and wait for the original to wake up?

Yun Hun finally broke down at this moment.

”Why take away my blessing? Thatʼs the only thing I have left!” Shouted Yun Hun in despair.

Seeing him like this, Hei Anjing can no longer just watch and approaches Yun Hun. Yun Hun was no longer in the right state of mind, but he could still recognize the God of Destruction. Seeing one of his most beloved in this world, Yun Hun, who possessed the memories of Hunluan, definitely sees Hei Anjing as his son.

Yun Hun reached out a hand, which the God of Destruction didnʼt avoid. Hei Anjing held the trembling hands of Yun Hun.

”Son…? Son, are you here to pick me up?” Yun Hun said.

The God of Destruction said, ”I do. I can bring you back home. Why donʼt you sleep for a while, Pops?”

”I see. I see…” Yun Hun, with a groggy face, slowly closes his eyes.

Hei Anjing hugs Yun Hun in comfort until the vessel he is using turns into ashes, leaving only a soul orb with countless cracks. The couple looked serious when they saw the state of this soul fragment.

The Sovereign God of Void and owner of the Nether System noticed the state of Yun Hunʼs soul. He commented, ”How come this soul looks tormented? Had he been tortured?”

”Thatʼs impossible. This is just an ordinary world,” commented the God of Destruction.

The God of Void didnʼt believe it, as the torture that this soul had suffered is what this world isnʼt capable of. He spreads his divine consciousness all over this world and finds nothing at first. But he didnʼt give up and found a strange fissure in the land on some deserted island. When the God of Void tried to enter the weird fissure, a power of contradiction, he clashed with his divine consciousness.

Ugh!

Ye Xiajie mumbles in surprise, ”Ancient power?”

”You truly found something, my love?” Hei Anjing asked worriedly and also spread his divine consciousness. However, whatever attacked his husbandʼs divine consciousness had long escaped somewhere.

”Is it gone?” murmured Hei Anjing, as he truly couldnʼt find anything of the sort.

Thankfully, whatever attacked Ye Xiajie had no intention of harming him. But it seems to be avoiding Hei Anjing; to be precise, he is avoiding his bloodline.

The God of Void commented, ”The feeling I am getting from that one is similar to the ancient gods in the last world. However, he is complete and isnʼt as careless as the ones from before. Moreover, he might be able to suppress me, as he is someone from ancient times and not from the current era.”

”If it is from the ancient era, his powers might be purer than yours. If your abilities werenʼt sealed, you wouldnʼt have been able to retaliate. Letʼs go back and rest. They should be alright inside the barrier,” the God of Destruction said as he teleported back to the mansion with his husband and the tortured soul of Yun Hun.

—

On the other hand, inside the barrier…

Countless space fissures were surrounding An Shizhe and Hunluan. Because the World Eater had lost control of his emotions, that gluttony had gone emotional as well. The scars on the space were the doing of Gluttony to show his discomfort and his greetings to the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan.

The two hug each other like this, as this is their first meeting after their deaths a few millennia ago. Even after waking up in the current era, An Shizhe didnʼt immediately look for Hunluan, as he, himself, was unsure if his beloved was able to reincarnate after imploding his soul to end both of them.

Who can bear the reality that your beloved had to sacrifice himself just to save you?

Thatʼs correct. Hunluan didnʼt self-destruct that time, not because he wanted to save the existence of the ancient gods or those beings who despised his other half. It was because his beloved had gone insane to the point of wanting to destroy everything, even himself. Hunluan couldnʼt watch his beloved perish completely. Thatʼs why, to save his soul, he can only use it to seal himself somewhere. In the end, it worked with his backup of saving a wisp of soul in the incomplete body of Snow that he was able to hide temporarily.

After the incomplete god, Snow, killed himself. Hunluan was brought to Vearth by his son, who was reincarnated in the Mo family, while he had hidden himself somewhere in Vearth and created the Divine Laws that appeared out of nowhere. Thanks to his preserved soul, he was able to sleep as he healed, while his son tried to find his other father, but instead found the soul he created and was reborn in this world as the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Hunluan asked, ”Have you calmed down, AʼZhe? If you do… Can you control gluttony? Your son and I had found a way to fully prevent you from going crazy when using such an ability.”

”Is it the Trial of Marriage?” asked An Shizhe as he raised his head to look at Hunluan, but kept his arms around him.

Hunluan asked, ”You already know how?”

”Hm. I saw that brat, Ye Xiajie. You and our son used the contracts and runes, making them rewards for trials. If itʼs a reward for a trial, then its existence is justified. I will agree to everything you want to do, Luanʼer,” said the World Eater. ”As long as you stay by my side.”

”Alright. This time, I will eliminate everything that might go against us. This time we arenʼt alone. Our son has created a clan with our bloodline. The gods of this era will no longer be on guard or fear us anymore,” said Hunluan.

The World Eater said with a smile, ”Our Jingʼer has done well.”
