His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 1528: Chapter 429: Stubborn Appearance

Huanhuan knew they were coming for Christmas, so she specially asked Grandma to buy her a red cape.

On Christmas Eve, Mu Yichen drove them in a spacious luxury car to the most luxurious hotel in the city for dinner. Although the temperature in the car was already very comfortable, Huanhuan, wrapped in her cape, was reluctant to take it off. Chengcheng wore a light-colored sweater with jeans and sneakers, sitting beside and watching her sister with the cape hood covering herself like a girl from a cartoon, looking at her sister with a slightly disdainful expression.

That look seemed to say: Girls are so boring!

”Mu Chenghuan, aren’t you hot?”

Qin Mu was just wearing a dark shirt and long skirt, a bit worried that her daughter might get overheated, but was afraid to lower the air conditioning for fear her son would get cold.

Huanhuan bravely shook her head: ”Not hot at all!”

Clearly, there were already beads of sweat on her delicate nose.

The night outside was extraordinarily beautiful; tonight, there was no starlight, but it seemed like stars were twinkling all over the sky.

The countless Christmas trees lit up the whole night, and there was lighthearted Christmas music playing.

When they arrived at the hotel, the staff quickly stepped forward to help open the car door. Qin Mu got out first, then picked up the two little ones one by one.

”The Christmas little girl is here!”

As soon as Huanhuan got out of the car, she jumped to the side like a little girl from a martial arts movie, striking a cool pose that made people walking in stop to look at her.

Qin Mu sighed helplessly, and Mu Yichen also looked at her a bit helplessly.

”Let’s go!”

Chengcheng bowed his head and walked in first. Seeing her brother leave, Huanhuan abandoned her pose and quickly chased after him.

Mu Yichen put one hand in his pocket and the other around his wife’s waist: ”Let’s go!”

”Have you noticed that lately, Mu Chenghuan seems a bit more immature than her brother?”

Qin Mu whispered to him as they walked.

”Yes! But boys are naturally more mature as they grow up.”

”But he’s not even old enough for kindergarten!”

Qin Mu couldn’t argue with what Mu Yichen said. However, she felt that ”growing older” should at least be after the second or third grade.

Mu Yichen wore a light gray striped coat tonight, matching Qin Mu’s coat. The staff led the way in front, and the two kids ran ahead; they followed leisurely.

At the rooftop, the family sat by the windows at the best spot to view the scenery. Instantly, most of Paris’ night view was right in front of them. Even these little ones, who always thought they’d seen it all, couldn’t help but twist their bodies and stare mesmerized at the scenery.

Qin Mu looked at the scenery outside, and when she casually glanced around, she saw two familiar girls. Those two girls had actually been looking at her for a long time, just not daring to recognize her before.

Until she smiled, touched by this unexpected encounter, and only then did those two girls dare to recognize her.

It had been many years!

Mu Yichen looked up and saw the emotion in her eyes and curiously asked her what happened.

”They were models I used to shoot commercials with, they’re French!”

As Qin Mu saw them approaching, she also stood up, leaning slightly towards Mu Yichen before getting up and telling him.

Mu Yichen then turned his head and put down the menu.

”Qin Mu!”

”Long time no see! You all still look so well!”

Qin Mu hugged them in turn and chatted with them gracefully.

”You too! We heard you got married after returning to your country! At one point, we all felt it was a pity for you!”

The two girls said to her, instinctively looking at her two children and her husband.

Tonight, she wore colors that were overly somber, contrasting sharply with the brightly dressed, fair-skinned girls, making her appear overly calm.

Mu Yichen raised his eyes slightly, smiling gently.

Qin Mu gave him a slight look, and he put down the menu in his hand and stood up.

He greeted them in English.

The two girls had heard Qin Mu married well, but they didn’t expect her husband to be so handsome; they were immediately captivated.

Qin Mu introduced her two children to them, and after chatting for a while, the girls reluctantly said goodbye to Qin Mu, but they exchanged WeChat contacts.

After they left, Qin Mu sighed softly: ”Back then, I only did commercials to get out of that small apartment, never expected to meet them, and we never had any rivalry!”

That was what made it most valuable!
