As if from legend, the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree was taking a Humanoid Form right before Thorns’ astonished eyes.

However, at that moment, something caught Yu Zi Yu’s attention. Though the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree was transforming into a Treant, it was unlike any other Treants.

The Dragon Blood Treant was much more slender and graceful. Faintly, it truly seemed to be evolving into a Humanoid lifeform.

“What’s this?” With growing amazement, Yu Zi Yu began to speculate.

[Could it be that because the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree is a Tier-4 Spirit Tree, its resulting Treant Form is more perfect? It is taking a form closer to a Human?] With that thought, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes narrowed as he carefully observed the transformation.

…

Time flowed slowly. In the blink of an eye, half a day had passed.

And during that time, under Yu Zi Yu’s astonished gaze, the Dragon Blood Treant finally took form.

Except…

“Greetings, Tree Ancestor…” A cold voice echoed through the air.

Unlike other Treants, this voice no longer had the usual weighty, raspy sound. Instead, this tree sounded more like a woman… and was somewhat pleasant to the ear.

More importantly…

As Yu Zi Yu looked at the crimson figure kneeling on one knee in the distance—bearing a striking resemblance to Thorns in appearance, almost 70-80%—the corner of his lips could not help but twitch.

[No wonder it’s Thorns’ prized treasure. Not only does it share her aura, but even its appearance after transforming is similar…] The realization dawned upon him.

The Dragon Blood Spirit Tree had taken on this form because of Thorns. After all, the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree was something Thorns had spent a great deal of time and effort cultivating, and their auras had merged. Thus, when the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree awakened, it unconsciously gravitated toward Thorns in appearance.

Of course, the most notable thing was that this Dragon Blood Treant, upon awakening, was already a Tier-4 lifeform. Its terrifying aura shot into the sky, stirring up a blood-red storm.

It was truly like a natural disaster.

And this, in a way, confirmed something for Yu Zi Yu: As the Treants evolved and grew stronger, even the ugly Treants could evolve towards perfection.

At the very least, the Dragon Blood Treant standing before him had already reached the standard of being a ‘beauty’ in his eyes.

However, looking at the face that bore such a close resemblance to Thorns, Yu Zi Yu could not help but cough.

“Ahem… Thorns, this…” Before Yu Zi Yu could finish, Thorns, who had been gazing intently at the Dragon Blood Treant from afar, suddenly let out a startled exclamation, “You… are you the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree?”

Her voice was filled with surprise, and her eyes shone brightly.

“Yes…” The Treant nodded slightly, and then, to Yu Zi Yu’s surprise, it slowly turned around and knelt before Thorns, saying, “I, Dragon Blood Treant, greets Master…”

“Tree Ancestor awakened me, and my Master gave me life and nurtured me for many years. I am eternally grateful to you…” With a voice full of sincerity, Dragon Blood Treant continued.

It was Thorns who had nurtured it from a mere seedling to what it was now. It was Thorns who had watered it with her own blood. In a way, Thorns had long been its Master…

That was why, after awakening as a Treant, it still knelt before Thorns.

Spirit Trees have feelings. They do not forget their roots.

Being born as a Tier-4 lifeform, with its considerable intelligence, it naturally understood the close relationship between Thorns and the Tree Ancestor.

Thus, without hesitation, it knelt before Thorns to express its gratitude.

[This girl sure is lucky…] Yu Zi Yu lightly chuckled, watching this scene with a smile.

Dragon Blood Treant, a Treant born as Tier-4, had directly acknowledged Thorns as its Master.

This was no small matter.

After all, Dragon Blood Treant and Thorns shared the same root and Source. If their hearts and minds truly connected, and if they cultivated together, there was even a chance of reaching Tier-5 in the future.

This could certainly be considered a great fortune for Thorns.

However, it did not stop there.

Suddenly, Yu Zi Yu’s expression turned serious as he loudly commanded, “Thorns, hear my decree…”

“At your service…” Straightening her posture, Thorns immediately responded.

“From today onward, you are the Lord of the Tree Realm, and you shall lead all Treants…”

“Yes, Master…” Thorns responded, but then suddenly, with a hint of curiosity, she asked, “Master, when you speak of Treants, are you referring to lifeforms like Dragon Blood Treant?”

“Yes.” Nodding slightly, Yu Zi Yu explained, “Treants are new lifeforms born from awakened Spirit Trees or Ancient Trees. Like Humans, they have varying talents, with some being superior and others inferior… So, as the Lord of the Tree Realm, you will need to guide them well in the future… I believe this won’t be difficult for you…”

With each word, Yu Zi Yu’s face showed a trace of expectation.

Thorns was already a Plant-Human hybrid. In that regard, she was quite similar to Treants. Moreover, she had extensive experience cultivating Spirit Trees.

Yu Zi Yu believed that under Thorns’ leadership, the Treant Race would develop even better and faster.

…

At this moment, having fully processed Yu Zi Yu’s words, Thorns glanced deeply at Dragon Blood Treant, still kneeling before her.

Only now did she begin to understand why her Master had dismissed her Elder Sister—Nine Tails and her Second Brother—Bull Demon.

It was clear that the existence of the Treant Race was a secret to them. And now, this secret had been entrusted to her by her Master.

“I will surely guide the Treant Race well…” With a firm resolution in her heart, Thorns slowly raised her right hand.

In that moment, seemingly aware of something, Dragon Blood Treant slowly stood up from afar and began walking towards her.

And then…

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous explosion, Dragon Blood Treant suddenly dissolved into countless streams of blood, much to Yu Zi Yu’s astonishment.

The blood snaked through the air, one stream after another, shooting directly toward Thorns.

As this happened, Thorns’ aura started surging dramatically.

In just a few moments, she had advanced from Early Stage Demigod Realm to Peak Stage Demigod Realm.
