“Dragon Scales emerging… Does this mean my Hierarchy of Life has advanced even further?” As Yu Zi Yu muttered, he felt a brand-new power surging within him…

An indescribable terror, like a True Dragon lying dormant, ready to explode with earth-shattering force when awakened.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu had not reached that level just yet.

However, according to his speculation, if all 79 of his secondary roots could fully transform from Flood Dragons into True Dragons, then he himself would likely reach Tier-6, Seventh Order.

At that point, his physical body alone would be enough to rival Tier-7 Hegemons.

However, for now, it was just a far-fetched dream. Achieving the Seventh Order was as difficult as ascending to Heaven. It was rumored to be a hundred times harder than stepping into Tier-7 itself.

Currently, if Yu Zi Yu could comprehend a few more Principles, he could directly step into the Realm of Hegemony.

At this thought, a hint of hesitation appeared deep in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

“Should I push for the Seventh Order, or break through to the Realm of Hegemony first?” Yu Zi Yu mumbled, finding himself in a dilemma.

Attempting the Seventh Order would further deepen his foundation, increasing his future chances of reaching the Eternal Realm, whereas advancing to the Realm of Hegemony would grant him a hundredfold increase in combat power.

He could only choose one.

As a result, even Yu Zi Yu was caught in a dilemma.

After pondering for a while, Yu Zi Yu suppressed the thought.

[Now is not the time to dwell on it. Let’s just focus on experiencing the changes brought about by reaching the Fifth Order.]

His branches had become even harder. Their current level of hardness rivaled that of Divine Metal. More terrifyingly, his branches could extend infinitely and even regenerate, making them his most fearsome weapons.

As for his trunk, it had grown even larger, and exuded an air of majesty and mystery.

However, the greatest change was in his roots—his 79 secondary roots could now absorb Spiritual Energy 50% more efficiently compared to when they were at the Fourth Order.

At this moment, if one looked from a distance, they would see a huge amount of starlight converging on his location. It made Yu Zi Yu appear almost divine and extraordinary.

[My body’s hardness alone has increased by two-threefold at the very least…] As he reflected upon this, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes suddenly narrowed, for he noticed an unfamiliar force circulating within him.

[This must be the Physical Divine Ability birthed from my breakthrough to the Fifth Order.]

Physical Divine Ability was not exactly a Divine Ability, yet it surpassed one in some ways. Simply because this terrifying ability could only be nurtured by excavating the potential of one’s physical body again and again.

In terms of power, it could rival some of the most fearsome Divine Abilities.

And now, Yu Zi Yu had developed such a Physical Divine Ability, and just from its description, it sounded terrifying.

Ancient Tree Awakening — As a powerful Divine Tree, akin to the Ancestor Tree, you can awaken all ancient trees. Any tree that has lived for a thousand years can be awakened to fight for you. The older the tree, the more terrifying would be its combat strength.
After taking a long look at this ability, Yu Zi Yu could not help but feel a bit surprised. He had not expected that at this point, he would be referred to as the Ancestor Tree.

However, on second thought, it made sense. By continually delving into his own potential, Yu Zi Yu’s Hierarchy of Life had been steadily increasing. Thus, becoming the Ancestor Tree was only natural.

[But this ability is quite interesting…] Yu Zi Yu could not help but chuckle, finding it amusing.

[The longer a tree lives, the stronger its combat strength becomes. But just how strong can it get? Could they stand against a Tier-4 Natural Disasters, or even a Tier-5 True Gods?]

Naturally, the very first time he read the description, Yu Zi Yu thought of the ‘Divine Trees.’

[If I can awaken the Divine Trees that had been passed down through the ages that carry sacred power, their combat power would be immeasurable. But, Divine Trees already possess their own Souls and are sentient, so why would they need to be awakened?]

As he pondered deeply, Yu Zi Yu felt a bit surprised.

[At my level, any ability born from relentlessly excavating my potential could never be this trivial… Unless… there’s something I have yet to uncover.] With this thought, Yu Zi Yu glanced at several trees around him.

These ancient trees had only been alive for two or three years, but due to Yu Zi Yu’s nurturing, they were already comparable to trees that had lived for centuries.

And now…

“Ancient… Tree… Awakening…” Yu Zi Yu uttered word by word, as if his speech held a power of command.

Suddenly, an inexplicable force spread throughout the Realm of Life.

And in the next moment…

*Crack, crack…* A series of loud cracking sounds erupted as the earth split apart.

Looking toward the source of the sound, Yu Zi Yu saw, to his astonishment, one ancient tree after another rising from the ground.

Pulling out their numerous underground roots, they were really rising from the ground.

These roots intertwined, forming leg-like structures that lifted their bodies off the ground.

Meanwhile, their branches coiled together, transforming into arms.

The scene resembled a vision Yu Zi Yu had once imagined back when he was still at Tier-2—a strange tree pulling its roots out of the ground and running through the sunset.

But now…

*Roar, roar, roar…* A chorus of roars filled the air, as the trees erupted with an aura that even Yu Zi Yu could not ignore.

It was then that Yu Zi Yu noticed the ancient faces appearing on the trunks of these trees—faces full of age and wisdom.

“Greetings… Tree Ancestor…”

“Greetings… Tree Ancestor…”

In unison, more than thirty ancient trees around Yu Zi Yu bent their branches in a bow.

And at that moment, Yu Zi Yu finally realized the true terror of his Ancient Tree Awakening ability.

[The scariest thing about this ability is its potential. Because the awakened trees will remain permanently in their awakened state, and they can even cultivate… In other words, I’ve created a Race, a Race of Treants with limitless potential…] Yu Zi Yu’s eyes sparkled with fascination at this.
