Time slowly passed.

It had been half a month since the signing of the Ancient Covenant between the Zergs and Misty Mountains.

On this day, deep within the Realm of Life, a grand celebration was taking place.

At this moment, in the heart of a vast forest, a hundred-meter-wide path paved with a glowing red carpet stretched from the forest’s edge to its center.

On either side of this radiant path stood countless formidable figures in silence.

Among them were mighty Transcendents of the Human Race, such as Stellar Magneto and Owl, as well as powerful beings from the Sea Clan, casting the illusion of endless seawater behind them.

Even a few fearsome Zergs, with their sinister appearances and chilling auras, had gathered, despite their recent inclusion.

Yet, this was not the most astonishing part.

What was most striking was that all these powerhouses were at least at Tier-4.

“Uh…” Even Shalira could not help but have the corner of her eyes twitch at the sight, feeling slightly overwhelmed.

However, more than this, what was even more awe-inspiring were the dozens of figures hovering silently in the sky at the center of the forest.

Each figure seemed divine or demonic. The auras emanating up from them stirred up storms in the sky.

One figure was surrounded by a white tornado, which was none other than the Third Divine Beast, White Tiger.

An icy blue figure was coiled around a pillar of ice that stretched into the sky—this was the Right Guardian, Little White.

Of course, the most terrifying presences were those concealed within the radiant prismatic glow. Their presence was so powerful that even Tier-4 Transcendents failed to fully catch the glimpse of their forms.

These were the True Gods of Misty Mountains—the experts standing at the pinnacle of power.

They were not only the Supreme Force of Misty Mountains but also fearsome beings within the entire starry sky.

And yet, Misty Mountains had four such experts known to the public…

The First Divine Beast—Nine Tails, the Mightiest Warrior—Golden Monkey, the Inextinguishable Flame—Dai Er, and Sarcosuchus—the being who ascended to the Realm of True God solely through his physical strength.

Each of them stood tall in the air. The invisible aura emanating from them caused the very air to feel heavier.

At this moment, all these figures were gazing reverently at the hundred-meter-tall Tree at the center of the forest—the Divine Tree, the Master of Misty Mountains…

“Greetings, Divine Tree.”

“Greetings, Master…”

A unified shout echoed throughout the world.

“En…” Nodding slightly, Yu Zi Yu, delaying not another moment, gave his permission to proceed, “Let the ceremony begin.”

“Yes, Master.” Nine Tails responded and stepped forward.

*Boooooom…* In an instant, a sea of flames surged into the sky, dyeing most of the Realm of Life’s sky crimson.

At the same time, Nine Tails’ voice echoed across the sky, “Now, we invite Shalira, Disciple of the Divine Tree…”

As this voice resounded, from the far end of the red carpet, a seemingly frail figure slowly approached.

*Tap, tap, tap…* Step by step, the figure advanced, moving forward beneath the silent gaze of countless powerhouses, their expressions a mix of envy and curiosity.

For the past half-month, the most widespread rumor in the Nine Realms was about the Divine Tree accepting a Disciple. Thus, most of the powerhouses were intensely curious about this Disciple who had seemingly appeared out of thin air.

However, now…

As they watched this Humanoid figure slowly approach, most of the powerhouses suppressed the shock in their hearts.

Although the figure appeared frail, she was anything but ordinary. She was surrounded by an invisible force that blocked all prying eyes, rendering even her face blurry.

Though only at the peak of the Demigod Realm, the pressure she emitted was no less than that of Sarcosuchus, the Fourth Great One with Tier-5 combat power.

‘No wonder the Divine Tree holds her in such high regard…’ This thought echoed in the mind of most of the powerhouses present.

[Such a brilliant and extraordinary individual… Indeed, she’s worthy of becoming the Disciple of the Divine Tree…]

…

The Disciple initiation ceremony was not complex. After all, Misty Mountains was still in a stage of rapid development. So, everything was kept simple.

Notably, both Golden Monkey and Nine Tails had originally advocated for a grand ceremony, celebrating the event across all realms.

In simple terms, they wanted a grand and extravagant initiation.

In their view, this was their Master’s first Disciple, and the ceremony should be correspondingly magnificent.

However, much to their disappointment, Yu Zi Yu preferred tranquility.

With his own decision, he vetoed the idea of the two beasts and instead arranged for the ceremony to take place within the Realm of Life.

Yet, even so, it was not long before the name of the Divine Tree’s first Disciple began to spread across Earth and even Elysia.

Unintentionally, a veil of mystery began to surround her, sparking endless speculation.

However, none of this mattered: Yu Zi Yu never concerned himself with such things.

What was more important now was for Shalira to ignite the Soul Lamp.

Only by igniting the Soul Lamp and entrusting everything to Yu Zi Yu would he truly recognize her as his first Disciple.

At that point, he would also begin channeling resources and other benefits toward her.

“I just need to place a wisp of my Soul into this lamp, correct?” Staring at the green lamp not far away, Shalira once again confirmed.

“Yes.” Golden Monkey affirmed with a nod.

Then, as if recalling something, Golden Monkey added a reminder, “Rest assured, this Soul Lamp is a priceless treasure for you. In the future, if you ever face danger, you can use the Soul Lamp to call for our help. Moreover, should you fall… you can also use the Soul Lamp to rebuild your body once again…”

“I see…” Shalira’s eyes brightened, and her gaze toward the green lamp gleamed with admiration.

Then, without hesitation, and under the watchful eyes of Golden Monkey and Yu Zi Yu in the distance, Shalira extended her right hand, before a wisp of Soul, enveloped in a faint glow, slowly drifted toward the lamp’s wick.

In the next moment…

*Booooom…* The lamp’s wick flared up, and a mysterious force began to circulate.

Accompanying this, Shalira’s faint, ethereal figure appeared above the wick. However, this figure was hazy, indistinct.

Upon closer inspection, it was clear that this phantom Shalira was expressionless, devoid of life.

“Heh, it worked.” Golden Monkey rejoiced with a chuckle.

Then, pointing to the phantom of Shalira within the lamp’s wick, he continued, “As this wisp of Soul continues to grow, it would ultimately have life and expression. Even if you face disaster, you can use this wisp of Soul to rebuild your body.”

With that, Golden Monkey raised both hands and presented the green lamp to Yu Zi Yu.

“This is Shalira’s Soul Lamp. Please, Master, take care of it.”

“Of course…” With a faint smile, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze flickered as the lamp floated toward him.

Whether it was an illusion or not, at that moment, he felt as though he could sense Shalira’s emotions—her joys, sorrows, and all else—through the lamp.

“It’s truly a priceless treasure…” muttering to himself, Yu Zi Yu immediately placed the green lamp deep within his body, within his vast sea of Spiritual Energy.

If one looked closely, they could see Yu Zi Yu’s Dao-Protecting Artifact—the Radiant Galaxy, the six flying blades circling around the Soul Lamp.

Yu Zi Yu’s sea of Spiritual Energy was akin to a Human’s Dantian.

It was protected by the Radiant Galaxy itself. Yu Zi Yu believed there was no safer place this.
