“I suppose the name ‘Nine Heavens’ comes from Taoism, correct?” Asking so, Golden Monkey began analyzing, “Nine Heavens, also known as Nine Skies, refers to Divine Sky, Azure Sky, Emerald Sky, Vermilion Sky, Scenic Sky, Jade Sky, Vibrant Sky, Purple Sky, and Great Sky. And if further broken down, these Nine Skies can be further divided into Thirty-Three Heavens, such as Heaven of the Great Emperor Huang, Heaven of the Great Bright Jade Completion, Heaven of Clear Brightness and Divine Youth…”

“So instead of Nine Heavens, we could directly call ourselves the ‘Thirty-Three Heavens,’ representing the utmost supremacy. But doing so might link us to Taoism, and we may end up in a confrontation with them.”

As she quietly listened, Aurora frowned slightly and asked in confusion, “Taoism, does it still exist in this era?”

“Don’t underestimate the ancient and revered Sects. Compared to the myriad races, what’s truly terrifying are the great Sects. Not only Taoism, but even Buddhism and the Demon Sect will re-emerge in this era. It’s just not their time to surface yet.”

“I see…”  Muttering softly, Aurora came to an understanding.

If even the myriad races managed to survive into this era, it made sense that certain Sects would too.

Some of these Sects spanned across all races, and their power was in no way inferior to the Three Supreme Races.

Among them, the three most fearsome Sects—Taoist Sect, Demon Sect, and Buddhism—once dominated entire eras, or even multiple eras, as terrifying Forces.

It was said that in the era when Taoist Sect reigned supreme, the myriad races all submitted to Taoist Sect, in the truest sense of ‘Taoist Sect’s Supremacy.’

At this moment, Golden Monkey glanced at Ling Er and chuckled, “As for the ‘Empire,’ I don’t know much about that, so I’ll leave it aside.”

Saying this, Golden Monkey shifted his gaze to Nine Tails, his expression turning serious.

*Haaaaa…* Golden Monkey heaved a sigh. [Who would have thought that Nine Tails would come up with such a name for Misty Mountains.]

“Heavenly Court…” murmuring the name, a hint of nostalgia crossed Golden Monkey’s face.

“Golden Monkey, what’s wrong?” Sensing something strange, Nine Tails asked curiously.

“Nine Tails, do you know what the name ‘Heavenly Court’ truly represents?”

“This?” Confused, Nine Tails shook her head.

She had simply read some ancient texts and felt that ‘Heavenly Court’ was a fitting name for the current status of Misty Mountains. She had not thought much deeper about it.

Seeing Nine Tails shake her head, Golden Monkey smiled and explained, “The Heavenly Court, also known as the ‘Heavenly Palace’ or ‘Purple Palace,’ was the most terrifying and mysterious Force of the last era, and the ruler of the Heavenly Court was none other than that figure from the Human Race…”

At these words, Yu Zi Yu was suddenly startled and directly asked, “Are you referring to that one?”

“Yes.” Golden Monkey nodded slightly, his expression serious as he continued, “So, if we adopt the name ‘Heavenly Court,’ we will inevitably be in opposition to that figure and his followers in the Heavenly Court. However, that’s not the main issue. What’s important is that the myriad races recognize them as the legitimate Heavenly Court. If we take the name ‘Heavenly Court,’ we’d be seen as mere jesters, mocked by all. After all, while I can’t guarantee other things, I’m certain that such a Force as the Heavenly Court will rekindle like embers in this era. And when we clash with the legitimate Heavenly Court, we’ll lose all face…”

“You’re right. I did not consider this carefully…” Nodding slightly, Nine Tails agreed.

Regardless of the strength of the legitimate Heavenly Court, both the myriad races and others acknowledge its ‘legitimate’ status.

At this point, if Misty Mountains were to call themselves the ‘Heavenly Court,’ while it might make the myriad races apprehensive and speculative, if the real ‘Heavenly Court’ were to emerge, it would be as though Misty Mountains’ reputation was being trampled underfoot.

At that time, if Misty Mountains could promptly suppress the ‘legitimate Heavenly Court,’ it would be fine. But if they failed, this ‘false Heavenly Court’ would become a laughingstock.

This was something that not only Golden Monkey did not want to see but also something Nine Tails wished to avoid.

There was no need to clash with such a top-tier power from an entire era just for a name.

However, at this moment, no one noticed Yu Zi Yu’s increasingly amused expression.

“Heavenly… Court…” murmuring softly, Yu Zi Yu recalled that Human Immortal.

Even now, Yu Zi Yu vividly remembered the resentful glare that person had cast toward him…

All because of a minor report Yu Zi Yu had made, he was now forever on that person’s mind.

If the followers of that Heavenly Court knew this, a battle with Misty Mountains would be inevitable.

Moreover, the terrifying part was that some things could not be hidden.

In the future, when the myriad races destroyed the Heaven-Connecting Jianmu, the previously obscured Heavenly Secrets would become clear again. With the abilities of some powerful entities, even if they could not fully understand the details, they would certainly know that the Human Immortal fell at Yu Zi Yu’s hands.

By then… it’s likely that the first to attack Misty Mountains would be the followers of the Heavenly Court once they learned of this.

*Hmph…* Yu Zi Yu snorted coldly in his heart, a bit concerned.

As the most terrifying and mysterious power from the previous era, the Heavenly Court certainly retained some fearsome strength. However, concerns aside, since their relationship had already become one of mortal enmity, there was no need to hide anymore.

Besides, there was the concept of ‘fortune’ in the world. If he could seize some of the Heavenly Court’s fortune, it would be worth it.

With this thought, Yu Zi Yu confirmed his decision, “I have made my decision about the name of Misty Mountains.”

“What? Master, you’ve already decided?” A sudden exclamation came from White Tiger, who was visibly surprised.

“Yes, I’ve decided.” With a slight nod, Yu Zi Yu once again lifted his gaze, looking at everyone.

He seemed to be muttering to himself, yet it also felt like a declaration, “From now on, our Misty Mountains shall be known as the ‘Demon Court.’

The Demon Court, standing in opposition to the Heavenly Court, yet bearing the name ‘Demon.’

Demons, born of nature, symbolize strength and resilience. And so too shall our Demon Court embody these traits.”
